The best restaurants serving Mediterranean food in South West

Great food, lovely staff and chilled atmosphere. Not one to be missed if you’re in the area! All the cocktails are AMAZING!

Pre-booked for 2 people for 6/3/25. We booked 3 days beforehand. Booking accepted by a young lady. Surprised to find Restaurant closed for a private function. We should have been advised the restaurant was not open when we booked. Very disappointed as we were doing a tasting session for a future large party. First time I have ever had to give a 1 star rating. It is a shame because having read other reviews, I am sure it is a nice place. Don’t think I will visit again as it was a long journey to make to get there.

My family agrees that the steak and ale pie, along with several other dishes here, (the chicken curry and rice was fantastic too) is among the best we’ve had anywhere in the UK. With friendly service, a cosy atmosphere, and a true local gem, we cannot rave enough about the Fairfield Arms.

What a fantastic experience, the mixed starter to share was delicious, then we both had the lamb shish which was so tender and perfectly cooked, beautiful restaurant toilets immaculate, service was 10/10 !

Wow…amazing food, absolutely delicious. I had the smashed Brothers burger & it was one of the best burgers I have had. For pudding I had the Macedonian baklava which was so good, not too sickly sweet. The staff were friendly & efficient. We were served by Harry, Luca, Simon, Lou & Victoria, all of whom were lovely. However it was very busy & when the restaurant is full, it can get very very noisy as it is only a small place. Booking is essential! Thank you xxx

SOTIRIS es la mejor panadería griega. Me he vuelto adicta a su hermosa rodaja de vainilla (bugantas) cubierta con azúcar glas y canela. ¿Quién puede resistir esta cálida tentación? Esta panadería es extremadamente popular, aunque me encantaría guardar esta información, puede llamar con anticipación para reservar lo que desee si aún está disponible en la encimera. Disfruta 👍

Excellent food and service very accommodating. Meals were a good size and selection of house wines also good. Will definitely go another time and recommend to others. Top class!

Love this restaurant and cannot wait for it to reopen, food was always absolutely amazing, my two kids love going here and are always made to feel welcome by the owner and his staff. Such a shame a fire forced them to close last summer, but hopefully will reopen soon

What a great find! Such a lovely ambiance, fabulous food, and excellent staff. Special thanks to Tom and Gabriella for taking such good care of us, and so warmly welcoming us like family. There’s a fabulous selection of delicious, traditional, authentic Greek dishes - whether you are looking for just a hot or cold snack, or something more substantial. Plus, seriously tasty desserts! Everything is homemade and fresh - truly outstanding. Jars Meze restaurant also offers an appealing selection of beverages including local wine specialties. They have outdoor seating available - ideal for al-fresco dining as the weather warms up; and - for those who prefer to be indoors - their upstairs dining room is beautifully decorated and evocative of a memorable Greek holiday. Highly recommended!

Absolutely fantastic Sunday lunch. Very attentive staff, good location and great pub with open fires and well spaced apart tables. Superb food - very generous portions and well priced.

Relaxed atmosphere, staff friendly , good choice of food, food was nice. We had a lovely evening. If you are looking for a informal, relaxed tapas and wine evening this is a lovely spot.

Pedí comida para llevar en la tienda de baño el jueves 2 nd, anteriormente he estado en la tienda para la comida en otra ocasión. En ambas ocasiones ha faltado el servicio de alguna manera y me ha decepcionado el gusto. Encontré en ambas ocasiones la comida sosa y empapada, también he experimentado algo malo con lo que recibí en ambas ocasiones. El pedido más reciente fue un cuenco con berenjena, buñuelos de maíz dulce y una bebida. Los buñuelos de maíz dulce estaban quemados y no eran comestibles, así que fueron directamente a la papelera. Había un mensaje escrito a mano en la bolsa y también un artículo adicional que no había pedido y fue etiquetado como una "sorpresa". Mientras que el personal había tomado el tiempo y esfuerzo para hacer esto, irónicamente se habían olvidado de incluir uno de los artículos que realmente había pedido! Me estaba perdiendo mi bebida. Por lo tanto, terminé deseando nunca haber pedido de aquí en absoluto - bebida faltante, comida quemada y no comestible, tazón suave. No volveré a visitar esta tienda, lo cual es una pena.

Food was fresh and flavourful. Good range of starters, dishes and choice. Beer selection and taste was disappointing.

Wonderful small restaurant with a great atmosphere. The staff are super friendly and attentive. The food (tapas) is all amazing, also highly recommend the cocktails too!

The best coffee place of Bristol. Amazing staff, incredible food and lovely music. You have to go there😉
