Fabulous food, service great and knowledgeable staff. Can’t wait to return when next in Bristol.

10/10 one of the best meals we have had in Bristol. The best service, delicious small plates, great vegan options and fantastic meat dishes. My partner had Ashton Court Venison which was amazing. I particularly loved the beans and mushrooms as well the truffles for pudding!

Visited for the first time and it was an absolute delight. Will definitely be visiting again.

Favourite restaurant in Bristol. Food is incredible - the local venison from Ashton court was delicious, plus the tiramisu is a must. Staff too make your experience so worth it - Emma especially!

Without doubt one of the most enjoyable meals I've had, certainly the best in Bristol. The atmosphere was perfect, from the lighting to the layout of the seating. It felt romantic without being dark, and intimate without being crowded. For the February menu, the skate was dreamy, the toasted macadamias adding a layer to the silky flakes of fish. If the skate wasn't so delicious, taglioni would have given me food envy in the extreme, beautifully presented and with exactly the right amount of parmesan to avoid overpowering the other flavours. Wonderful experience, a real birthday treat- we will return, and soon!

Have been several times and never disappointed

Easily one of my favourite dining experiences. I wanted to try everything on the menu! The flavors and combinations were incredible. Very reasonably priced considering the quality of the food and the chefs skills. I can’t wait to go back.

Todo estaba fenomenal; el vino, el pan y las aceitunas (amor que hacen Gordal y manzanilla) la burrata era para morirse! También tenía la cola de buey y la polenta y nunca he tenido mejor, pero lo más destacado fue la pasta cavalo nero! El servicio era increíble y amablemente nos encajan sin una reserva. Todo el personal era muy amable y lo destrozó.

Loved the restaurant for every aspect. The host was great, she greeted us and explained the menu with great details. I loved the In Bloom cocktail a lot, which again was suggested by our host. So if anyone is trying to visit it, I'd definitely recommend trying that drink. Overall, the restaurant has a great atmosphere and lighting to calm your mind and enjoy the meal. Very nicely done ✨

I cannot thank Mark and the COR team enough! For my final year media project at university, I reached out to COR's owner Mark for a potential interview and to highlight the amazing things they're doing. I was thrilled when I received such a speedy and enthusiastic response, and Mark could not have been more accommodating if he had tried! Not only was he super generous with his time and efforts to make sure I had everything I needed, introducing me to the team and their friendly environment. It's very clear that Mark and the COR team genuinely care about helping within the community and are determined to really connect with local residents and organisations. Mark has clearly done a fantastic job in creating such a welcoming atmosphere, community-focused ethos and a real neighbourly spirit... Oh and the food is out of this world!! COR seriously deserves the local support it's giving others right now - HUGE thanks to the team, and if your anywhere even remotely near Bristol, check it out!

Visited Cor three times now and every time has been excellent. Most recently visited with a big group for a set menu and the staff were so helpful and friendly. They explained what each dish was and how many people it was shared between, which made things run smoothly. Will definitely go back, their weekday lunch deal is excellent value too!

Cor blimey, what a meal! I’ve been wanting to visit this restaurant for so long and I finally got to enjoy a selection of tapas style dishes from their Mediterranean menu earlier this week. Gorgeous wine, passionate people and outrageously delicious food. We had the following: - Sourdough & black garlic butter - Roman style artichokes, Castelvetrano olive salsa verde, pistachio - Slow cooked pig cheek, crispy polenta, wild fennel & chilli gremolata - Tagliolini, scottish girolles, firenze tomatoes, ricotta salata - Black fig, prosciutto & gorgonzola dolce crostini, balsamico rosso - Dark chocolate ganache, cherries, amaretto gelato Highly recommend a visit, a new favourite on my Bristol list!

Perfect spot for a date night or special occasion! Heard so many good things about this place so had to check it out for myself and will now be recommending to everyone! The food is divine, every single dish. So many delicious flavours and presentation is exceptional.

We have been to COR before and previously really enjoying it, so I booked it again for a treat for my partner’s birthday. Whilst the food was once again excellent throughout from starters to puddings, the service was very varied depending on who came over to our table. Ellie was really warm and pleasant but the other lady was continuously abrupt and grumpy - it felt like she did not want to be there at all. Everyone has off days but it was very noticeable each time she came over. It was a shame, on our special occasion, particularly when everything else about COR is consistently so great.

Visited for lunch yesterday and totally blown away by the food and the service. The special canele was incredible as well as the cured trout dish. The waitress couldn’t have been more helpful and attentive. Keep up the great work. We will be back.

Food is very good. But this 1* is because of the utter rudeness of the waiter with blonde hair and a pleated pony tail. Never seen anything like it and we work in hospitality (not in Bristol) and know good and bad service. She either needs to be retrained or removed from service - one of the worst we’ve had period. The rest of the team were first class inc the Head Chef who was very friendly and engaging. Would have been 5* (6* in fact) and happy to revisit in the future but she spoiled our trip.

We hired Cor for our wedding breakfast and we are so glad we did! The food was incredible, so much choice (and quantity), it was easy to cater for all our guests. Tallulah made the planning easy and stress-free and the day ran so smoothly, we had such a wonderful time and our guests loved it. Would highly recommend!

A gem. The waitress was welcoming and extremely helpful. My 11 year old daughter, said how ‘lovely’ she was, followed by ‘I love Bristol’. The food was beautifully presented and the staggering of plates was spot on. The flavours were incredible and every dish, the 3 of us tried we ALL loved. Well priced too. I will be raving about Cor to all my friends in London, encouraging them to come to Bristol and more importantly this restaurant.

Our Daughter Katie and her new Husband celebrated their wedding at COR on Saturday evening. They hired out the restaurant and we were treated to the best food, it just kept coming. Course after course of delights. All the staff were brilliant too. It was the perfect place to mark such an event. We had time between courses to mingle with our new family, with a glass in hand of course 😜. Try a Molten Heather, best old fashioned I've ever tasted.

We had an amazing time on Saturday night celebrating our daughter Katie's marriage to Harry. Everything was exceptional! The food, drink, atmosphere and all of your wonderful team, just incredible. We would highly recommend Cor for Private Functions, as well as a lunch or dinner of course. Thank you all again!

What an amazing evening we just had at COR for a private celebration with our families for our wedding. Having eaten at COR multiple times before, we knew it was the perfect place to book for our private event! As always, the menu for the evening was absolutely incredible, and the team brought courses out seamlessly whilst ensuring we were all taken care of with drinks etc. Each course became the knew favourite, and our guests will definitely be returning! Fantastic experience at Cor, I wasn’t really sure what to expect, however, was not disappointed by a superb array of small and medium sized plates. The setup lends itself to sharing plates over single dishes. The Jerusalem Artichoke was absolutely incredible. It gets quite hot in the restaurant when full, might help when deciding what to wear!

My partner and I visited COR with two friends on Saturday and we were blown away by the food! Firstly I had a cocktail I forget the name of it now but it had elderflower and basil in it which absolutely delicious! I had the burnt leeks and pigs cheek to start which were incredible and for main I shared the ragu pasta and poussin. The quality of the food in my opinion is some of the best I have had in Bristol and I would put this in my top 3 meals I’ve had out. The restaurant had a lovely cosy atmosphere in the evening and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were late to our meal which was totally our fault but I do feel like a 2 hour time slot for 4 people isn’t quite long enough, however I know this isn’t unique to them! Highly recommend COR and I will 100% be returning!

I've been here about a half-dozen times for occasions from a random lunch to an anniversary dinner - Cor never disappoints with creative dishes, top notch service, and great drinks. Will be back far too often.

We have visited several times now and once again not disappointed. The plates work very well for sharing and the portions are a good size. We had:- Courgette Fritters, Burnt leek, mustard vinaigrette, gruyère, walnut pangritata Slow cooked pig cheek, crispy polenta, wild fennel & chilli gremolata Pappardelle, onion ‘ragu’, 30 month aged parmesan Cod with Devon mussels, confit tomatoes with saffron, charred toast Every mouthful was amazing and we were full up - we love the potatoes but could not fit them in with everything else! All accompanied by a lovely bottle of wine and loads of tap water. We will be back.

Had a Thursday lunch. It was busy but also calm. Great service and delicious food. Felt unpretentious.

Absolutely bloody delicious. The food was amazing, we chose from the separate vegan menu. Everything was so fresh, the flavours were incredible. The service from Gabriela was really lovely. Had heard great things and now totally understand why. Also love that there was a couple sat at the bar with their dog. Super friendly, warm and welcoming, date night vibes, with an insanely considered menu.

Today’s special: small plates with big taste! At Cor the dishes depend on the time of year but delicious food is never out of season. Wonderful selection of cocktail specials — for me, Negroni Bianco and a Strawberry Americano. Gorgonzola with Figs — sublime! Two thumbs up.

Despite being a bit disappointed with the food, I can not give it less than 4 stars for the overall experience. The service is exceptional and the environment is cosy and relaxing. The cocktails look delicious, blending quality spirits with unique ingredients. The wine list is simple, with some good value for money options. Once you enter the restaurant, a very pleasant smell hits you immediately and makes you look forward for the experience that is to follow. The menu is meant for sharing (2-3 plates per person). Everything looks delicious when you go through the list. We started with an evening's special off the menu and it was probably the best dish we had (croquettes). Continued with the artichokes, which were refreshing and light. The prosciutto, fig and cheese was good, but the fig lacked the taste and felt like it came out the freezer. The iberico pork was cooked to perfection and seasoned well, but the tomatoes and bread on the side were soaked in vinegar, to a point it was not pleasant anymore. The biggest disappointment was the trout with the ajoblanco. The fish had lost all its flavour and the ajoblanco texture was lumpy. I have to mention as well that all plates were served cold to lukewarm, but this may be how the selected dishes are meant to be served. Another thing that I found tiring was the use of almonds, almost in every item we had. To sum it up, the disappointment is because of the high expectations I had before I visited for the menu, which looked really promising. However, I would give them another chance for the food, just to be able to conclude if I like it or not; it smells so nice after all! In any case, I would recommend it for a couple of drinks and some bar snacks, if not a proper dinner.

Great place! The food is amazing, seasonal and very well thought out. The portion sizes are very generous and you leave very satisfied. Prices are very similar to other places in Bristol, but I think you get more bargain for your buck here. Really really recommend the Tropea onion dish and Cannellini beans!! Staff are amazing and very knowledgeable, very attentive also. Will absolutely return when I have the chance!

My wife and I had dinner at Cor on her birthday. We shared six small plates and two desserts. All eight dishes were exceptional - perfect ingredients prepared with imagination and huge skill. Really pleasant and helpful staff, too. We are lucky enough to have eaten at numerous good restaurants over our several decades together. Cor is one of the very best and we look forward to returning with the rest of our family. PS: The Cornish potatoes are straight from heaven.

Food was amazing. Really good vegan and non dairy options. Friendly service. Only down side was we had to move as we got to the end of our two hour booking slot! This was mainly as we needed an extra portion of the chorizo crispy spuds to be fair. Go there and put some of their stuff in your face.

Recommend ordering 1 nibble, 1 starter, and 1 main each - and ask the lovely staff what they recommend…. we tried things from the menu we perhaps would never usually have tried and they were our favourite dishes! This dining experience at COR was a fantastic journey, blending clever and talented food combinations with a strong connection to the staff. Each team member has their own unique character, and their passion for food and customer service shines through in everything they do. My friend and I were absolutely inspired by our first visit to COR. The decor is clean, neat, and bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows on both sides, creating a cozy, well-organized, and comfortable space. Seeing the chef at the end of the room made us feel more connected to the staff. The sourdough bread was fine, but the rest of the dishes were outstanding. The coppa stagionata was amazing—so smooth thanks to the abundance of fat, and the pickles on the side were a lovely bonus. The Mozzarella di Buffalo salad was the highlight for me. The ingredients were superb, and the combination was thrilling. The peach was perfectly ripe and flavorful, the fennel was delightfully crunchy, and the creamed onion on top added both flavor and texture. Highly recommended! The anchovy dish had a tangy base and was full of pistachios, and the Iberian pork presa was superb, served with incredibly juicy tomatoes. For dessert, the Fior di Latte was unique and delicious—a pure milk gelato topped with fennel, sea salt, and olive oil. Truly exciting! The staff were all friendly, helpful, and energetic, adding to the overall fantastic experience. Everyone was so nice, making the visit even more memorable.

It is worth it to get a reservation, the window seats are a little cramped. Otherwise, this place is phenomenal. It may have taken our top restaurant spot on North street after just one visit!

Our second visit & even better than we remembered! Very unpretentious but incredible food & service. We honestly could not fault one dish - all absolutely delicious. Stand outs for us were the asparagus, the pea pasta and OMG - the potatoes!!! The potatoes were what we remembered from our last visit and honestly they were again the best potatoes we have ever ever eaten! And we have eaten a lot!! Please never take these off the menu - they are off the scale amazing!! A very special mention has to go to the staff though - engaging, cheery, knowledgeable and utterly delightful. Made our visit very special. All finished off with a fab carafe of house rose and a plate of cheese from the amazing cheese shop just down the road. Perfect. If you haven’t eaten here you’re missing a trick. One of the best restaurants in Bristol for sure. Admittedly not cheap but absolutely worth every single penny. Thank you to all the staff or Cor - you totally nailed it yesterday. Oh and did I mention the potatoes…..??!!!

What can I say… been back on an almost monthly basis since we moved into the area and never been let down. The team is amazing and always super welcoming and attentive throughout and stands at the basis of one of the most wonderful dining experiences in Bristol. We love sitting at the bar so we can watch cocktails being made - that’s the cherry on the cake! Food is beautiful and has a surprising twist to it; the last time we visited we thought the cannellini beans were ok… we were convinced to try them again last night and really liked the new version! Black garlic butter, sweet shallots & Gorgonzola (my forever favourite) and the iberico ham is some of the dishes we can never stay away from for too long. Banging cocktails & potatoes!! Looking forwards to our next visit already (and we don’t normally keep on going back to the same places!). Thank you team!
