Great food and fantastic service!

Very disappointing take away experience. Food was cold, and even worse, over cooked.

As always, fabulous! We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The service was perfect. The baklava is the best I've ever had. Lovely restaurant, clean, light airy and lovely staff. Massive portions, we couldn't eat it all.

I feel this is an amazing hidden gem of a place which is unusual to be this good and local. Greek you will always rest assured the staff will make you feel relaxed and at home straight away,friendly, food tastes were lovely. You will never worry about being hungry on greek portion sizings. Goes without saying we will be back as want to try desserts and more things . Thankyou.

Just spent a lovely Friday evening at the bustling and vibrant Olympus restaurant. The food was incredible. We’re vegetarian and the mains were fairly meaty, but there were so many starter options that we made up a generous sharing platter of beans gigantes, dolma, salad, feta dip, saganaki cheese, beautiful fresh, herby bread and bakalava to finish (with complimentary ice cream *and* cream because we couldn’t decide which would accompany best) All of this plus the most lovely and warm hospitality meant we came away hearts and bellies full with the true Greek experience 🩵

What an amazing meal! The kebabs were delicious, the dips were a perfect accompaniment and the beans prawns and olives were just perfect. Far more than we needed for two, and we shall enjoy the rest cold tomorrow!! Thanks!

Visited for the first time tonight and had a lovely evening. We were given a very warm welcome and the service was great. The food was delicious and authentic - a real gem in Kingswood, we will definitely return.

Exeptional authentic Greek menu, Stifado chip and rice combo, oh yes, and the Tzatziki was stunning! Only thing better than the food was the service, fantastic evening, we will be back. Efcharistó!

Best Greek food I've tasted since visiting Greece

First time i had ever been, food was lovely, portion sizes were big so i skipped starters. The staff were all amazing and so friendy, made us feel cery welcome. Will definitely be returning.

2nd time, I have been to Olympus and can not fault a thing. Service from start to finish was friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent, there was plenty of choice and very good value. We will be back again for our next family celebration.

I have takeaway here very often the Gyros is superb, great value portion size and cooked to perfection

We've enjoyed meals from here for some time. But we had a recent quite negative experience on a takeaway order. One item was completely missing (side of chips). We ordered two Olympus Mixed grills and the chicken and pork gyros was completely missing. This is a £70+ order, the grill is quite an expensive item and a significant portion of it wasn't included. Is that acceptable? The app we ordered it through wouldn't help on this matter.

What a lovely find! We ordered the sharing platter for 2 and thought it was a good amount of food for the money. Atmosphere lovely with the music and decor nice. Staff very attentive. We'll be returning for sure!

Food was excellent, in a traditional feeling greek restaurant. Staff very friendly and attentive. Only issue we had was that the traditional Ness of the restaurant meant we had a ten minute session of plate smashing 5 feet from us, so if you are expecting a quiet meal, be aware!!

Great place with delicious food at reasonable prices. Lovely staff, very accommodating. We were a group of 20 people for a baptism, they opened the restaurant just for us in the middle of the afternoon.

We were really excited to eat here as all 4 of our party love Greek food. We were quickly disappointed as they had run out of stiffado and kleftico. The waitress was pleasant but unfortunately the food was a let down, after waiting an hour for the main course my lamb chops were not cooked but cremated and Luke warm. It was offered to cook some more but I didn’t want to be eating when everyone else had finished their meals. They did refund this to our bill

I ordered lamb chops and vegetables on the side. I got lamb chops, something with chicken pieces and chips and another portion of chips. Lamb was tough. Not good. Won’t be ordering again.

There's no words to explain the super good service offered let alone the delicious food that they serve. The atmosphere created by the staff was superb , and my boy's birthday party came out a lot better that what i was expecting so deffo this is going to be my favorite place of all my future celebrations 🍾 Much respect to the owner and the staff!

We popped in as a walk and the restaurant was very busy so we were happy to even get given a table. The staff were very friendly and polite. Food was delicious, prices a tad high but portions are huge so it makes up for it (we managed to get lunch out of the meals the next day too!) the food tasted like love when into the prep especially the moussaka which we LOVED! It’s lovely to go to a family run place with a homely loving feel rather than big chains and I feel they’ve nailed that at Olympus. Only bits of feedback for improvement would be: -invest in a fast drying hand dryer in the loos or at least paper towels to dry hands -try and make sure enough space between tables as we were very on top of the people behind -spend a little extra on quality tomatoes for the Greek salads (the ones used tasted very plain and like cheap salad tomatoes was disappointing)

We have visited many times as a large group and our recent trip was perfect as usual. Friendly, welcoming staff and a great atmosphere as soon as we arrive. We were asked our drinks orders shortly after each guest had settled in so there was no waiting around. When everyone had arrived we were given time to chat and look at the menu and then our orders were taken. It wasn’t long to wait before the food began to arrive. Everyone’s meal was delivered and no one was left waiting around. Now the food… it was deeelicious, from taste to presentation to portion sizes, everything was perfect. Then came the complimentary shots at the end of the meal 👍🏼 what else can we say except thank you, and we will definitely be back. The Rocking Horse Ladies 🙂

Never visited this restaurant before and what a hidden gem! Firstly it is quite a large restaurant which we didn't expect when we first arrived. Well presented, we could have been anywhere in Greece! Delicious food well presented home made food at a reasonable price with good selection of Greek food with some alternatives. We took our own birthday cake and they played 'happy birthday' and supplied plates and serviettes. They apparently have dancing and plate smashing at the weekend ( we will be back) ! The service was excellent and staff friendly, helpful and attentive. Ellie in particular was delightful, thanks for making a family birthday meal special 😊

Only had take away service. But o the both occasions the food was not only tasty. It was hot. And the quality was perfect. Called on my partners birthday. Not only did they deliver near closing time. They put in some extras including a bottle of Proscecco. Some deserts. And a service with a smile on a torrid night weather wise. The Beef Stifado is beautifully cooked. And if you haven't tried this dish. Then it is a must. Really friendly restaurant that goes the extra mile.. Bug thank you. Will be back very soon..

This was our first visit and it certainly won’t be our last. I wanted a romantic meal where I could propose to my partner. The service, food and ambience were just perfect and my fiancé who is a connoisseur of Greek food said that the Kleftico and Stifado was the best she had ever had. And yes she is my fiancé now. Apparently Olympus’ first ever marriage proposal. Thank you to all of the staff for making our special evening one to remember forever😍😍

Bought my wife & 2 boys (8&10) to this restaurant for the first time for my wife’s birthday! We’d heard good things so I went ahead and booked! The food was great! The portions are massive & my boys loved it! There’s a vast arrange of foods on the menu & there is even a kids menu! The service was great, and the waitress was knowledgeable when asked what certain things were! I would definitely recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to return to try something else on the menu!

ive been to cyprus over the las t 25yrs more times than ive had hot dinners so i know what greek food is all about & this does even come close !! the worst stifado ive ever had & ive had a few ! my sons gyros thing was awfull & ive seen better out of a kebab van . cheap wine so not good at all. so many good reviews for this place but most people are easily pleased and dont know a thing about real food anyway !! THIS PLACE IS WINGING IT & we wont be going again, il have stifado again when im back in cyprus !!

Visited last Friday night with my family and you can be sure of a good welcome at this restaurant every time. You get a true taste of Greek food with the menu on point with delicious top notch food. There is a great atmosphere in the restaurant, Friday and Saturday nights can be very busy. I have to thank the chef’s and kitchen staff who are often forgotten in reviews. The food is always superb, you can take home what you can’t manage to eat and with the front of house service this place is a little gem in an otherwise run down Kingswood.

Used to go to this place when it was Jade Palace. Did not know it had changed to Greek restaurant until a few weeks ago. This is a great restaurant and the food in my opinion was good value for money. Went on Saturday night, which was busy, and give it a viberate and lovely atmosphere. Staff were great and friendly, service was quick and no rush to finish your meal. Food was lovely, we had sharing platter for two ( be prepared to be hungry as there was plenty). Nice little free ouzo night cap on house. Will make this our regular, saves us travelling into town for Greek. Well done to all.

We are so lucky to have this excellent restaurant on our doorstep. We visited this time for a family celebration and delighted that the restaurant is busy as the staff really do deserve to be successful as the service is great. The food is first class and the portions generous.

Found this restaurant on a goggle search. The reviews matched our experience. The venue is bigger than it looks. There is plenty of seating without feeling crammed in. The menu is great and has something for all. We selected the 2-person share platter. Excellent range of foods and quantities are just right. We would definitely recommend the biscoff cheesecake it was the best we have ever had. Go check it out, friendly staff and great service.

I had high expectations based on the reviews, but unfortunately, my experience didn't quite meet them. To start on a positive note, I found the staff to be friendly and attentive. However, the Gyros dish I ordered turned out to be a greasy kebab. While I understand that Gyros is a type of Greek kebab, I had hoped for a bigger wow factor for a restaurant setting. It wasn't a bad dish, but it didn't quite live up to my expectations. In fact, it didn't offer anything better than what I would typically get from a late-night takeaway place after a night out. One issue that added to the impression of a typical takeaway experience was the sweet chili sauce. It was served in a very large, burger van-style bottle (I'll include a picture for reference) and had a foil seal that I had to remove myself. This felt a bit less refined for a sit-down restaurant, especially considering the price point, which on average was around £17 for the main dish alone. Additionally, the chips I ordered were not particularly special either. It appears that other reviews have also mentioned this, indicating it might be an area for improvement. Another significant concern was with the ketchup provided. It was in a Heinz bottle, and I assumed it was Heinz ketchup. However, upon tasting it, I realised that it was not actually Heinz ketchup – but some cheap substitute that tasted just like the stuff from 24/7 fast food places. This was misleading and disappointing as I wouldn’t have added it to my plate otherwise. While this may not be a concern for a small independent restaurant, if it were part of a chain, it could potentially damage the Heinz brand's reputation. In terms of the atmosphere, the seating area I was in had dim lighting, which didn't create the most inviting ambiance. The restaurant mentions in their reply this was a choice which makes me sound like a clown but the arrival was in daylight so the lightning was not relevant then - the sunset during the meal and this then became apparent. I want to note that I didn't raise these issues in person during my visit, as it was a special occasion, and I didn't want to disrupt the meal for everyone. Raising it here is better than not raising it at all, as I believe sharing my feedback can be useful for the restaurant and other potential customers. To be fair, I want to mention that a free shot was offered when paying to everyone, which was a nice touch and added a pleasant surprise to the dining experience. Despite my issues, I would consider visiting again to try other dishes if it were not for the attitude in the restaurant's response to my original review. Their comment about 'not being the kind of customer they need' and their sarcastic tone in saying 'thanks again' left me with a negative impression, which is unfortunate. While my evening may not have been perfect, I hope the restaurant takes feedback from customers constructively in future, as it will lead to improvements and a better overall dinning experience. In regards to the restaurant's response below: It's quite peculiar that the restaurant appears frustrated when I update my review in response to their replies and after further reflection. As a frequent Google reviewer, I often prefer to start with a concise review and then expand on it later. Google even encourages this by awarding points for doing so. In the world of business surveys, I've seen many responses, and I would never scold a customer for leaving a brief comment since that doesn't contribute to constructive dialogue. However, every comment I leave seems to be met with some excuse. I've since learned that the sauces are inexpensive because they are intended for kids. I've also been told that everyone else enjoyed the dish I criticised, implying that my opinion is unfounded. My main point, though, is that the dish and its accompaniments didn't provide good value for money, even more so for more expensive items on the menu. It feels as if I'm part of a fiery episode of Channel 4's 'Four in a Bed.'
