The best restaurants serving Mediterranean food in South West

We went into Karma on the off chance of a lunch. Although we were on the limit if food service times we were advised we could stay and have a meal. The food was amazing and the two ladies who were running the cafe were so accommodating and friendly we decided that we would go back again. My wife is already due to return this evening with a couple of her friends so they already have more business coming from us. I would highly recommend Karma to anyone wanting a tasty lunch with first class service with a smile. 😀🫶

Used to be great, but it is closed now

We tried the lamb. The wild garlic and potatoe soup. Also the halloumi with extra ham. The soup was incredibly tasty. The salads were very tasty. The homemade apple cake was lovely. We sat in the covered area which protected us from the wind. Highly recommended. Wish I had taken photos for you to see.

It's disappointing that this place isn't vegetarian/vegan anymore, the falafel is good so I decided to still order. Wish I hadn't because at the same time my falafel was being made, burgers were being fried on the grill. Since there was no ventilation the restaurant smelt disgusting and even though there are two grills, both are used for warming up wraps. I saw the server going to warm my falalfel wrap on the grill that had just been used for grilling meat and had to quickly remind him that I'm vegan and that is a no go so he used the other grill but I wasn't convinced how clean it was..... Needless to say it left a bad taste in my mouth (figuratively) and I won't be going back

This is me and my daughters favorit place to get a healthy and tasty lunch, always delicious and with great service, we love it 😋.

looks nothing like how it does online. its completely remodelled with a new menu and an entirely different name called “scottys tapas”. before you go here just keep in mind that whatever menu you see online will be different in person. i can say however that the waiter that approached us was informative and friendly.

I had the most amazing birthday lunch here! The food, wine, and cocktails were all delicious. The restaurant had such a cosy and friendly atmosphere and it felt like we’d found a hidden gem. The garlic and chilli prawns are a must! The best part was the service - we were made to feel so welcome and everyone there was so genuine and kind. It’ll definitely be a regular spot for all of us, so thank you for such a wonderful meal!

We visit Torquay once a year to visit friends. At our request we always head for Ladbrows for tapas. Having lived in Spain we can confirm that the offerings are very authentic and simply delicious. Wayne and Neil are delightful hosts, always friendly and welcoming. Absolutely 5 stars all round and can't recommend this establishment enough!!

We went there for a special lunch today without a booking, but they were happy to fit us in. The atmosphere was relaxing and the food was extraordinary. We had the mixed hot starters, which were delicious - especially the pastries filled with cream cheese. The mussaka was gorgeous, and my mixed shish kebab was succulent and full of flavour, with the chicken and lamb both delicious. Friendly, helpful service, gorgeous food and a relaxing, nicely decorated space to eat it in. Highly recommended

SOTIRIS es la mejor panadería griega. Me he vuelto adicta a su hermosa rodaja de vainilla (bugantas) cubierta con azúcar glas y canela. ¿Quién puede resistir esta cálida tentación? Esta panadería es extremadamente popular, aunque me encantaría guardar esta información, puede llamar con anticipación para reservar lo que desee si aún está disponible en la encimera. Disfruta 👍

Excelente comida y servicio muy servicial. Las comidas eran de un buen tamaño y la selección de vinos de la casa también buena. Definitivamente iré en otro momento y recomendar a otros. ¡Clase alta!
