The service was excellent and loved the atmosphere here. The meal was excellent, and even salad was really tasty. I feel the price could have been a bit cheap, all in the meal , the service was excellent.

Visited Rona Bar & Grill Turkish Restaurant in Weymouth and left seriously unimpressed. The food was bland and tasteless — the chilli sauce lacked any real spice, and the garlic sauce didn’t taste fresh at all. We ordered the mixed lamb, adana kofte, and veggie moussaka. None of the dishes stood out, and for what we got, it was massively overpriced. They do serve some bread at the start, but the portion is tiny and they don't offer refills, which just adds to the feeling of stinginess. To top it off, the service wasn’t great either — the owner came across as quite miserable, which definitely affected the atmosphere. What really shocked me was the price. For three dishes and tap water, the bill came to £60 — and they had the audacity to add a 10% service charge on top. For food and service of this quality, that’s unacceptable. Overall, felt like a total rip-off. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend it to others.

One the best Turkish restaurants we've visited and a hidden gem. Good selection of drinks and lots of choice available on the food menu. We were greeted upon arrival and staff were pleasant throughout our visit. The food tasted amazing, was good quality and cooked fresh to order.

Great restaurant to find and pretty good food. Some parts of the platter were better than others but overall positive experience. Front of house staff were friendly.

What a lovely find this was and so lucky to get a table there. Saturday night, but early when we got there..... so, luckily for us we got a table for two. The staff were polite, cheerful and friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious.... definite recommend. By the time we left, it was packed with every table and seat occupied 😊

This is our second visit to this restaurant and did not disappoint . Three starters and five mains, all excellent and presented nicely plus a couple of drinks fof £35/head , which includes the tip was great value. Definitely worth a visit if you are in weymouth

the lamb is beyond amazing. the sauces are great. it's not a cheap eat but it's totally worth it. SO GOOD

A little gem in the centre of weymouth. Lovely freshly prepared food in immaculate surroundings. The set lunch menu was the perfect size for lunchtime but saw the main menu equivalent which was massive. Highly recommend a visit and that you finish with a fresh mint tea.

A little pricey (especially if you have three courses like we did) but the food was delicious and the service impeccable, so it was well worth it.

At the time of writing this review (valentine’s day 2025) this restaurant really caught my attention. The service was excellent, the food delicious and affordable. I had the lamb shank which was cooked beautifully.

One of my favourite places to eat in Weymouth. Atmosphere is always calm and the food is absolutely delicious. The lamb hummus and creamy chicken special is my go too. Delicious!!!

First time to this restaurant and presently surprised (good way) considering this would not have been my typical cuisine of choice. A dish was ordered without mushrooms and it came with them. We did ask and one of the staff argued that we didn't inform them. The argument wasn't necessary and it was the person who took the order in the first place. Other than that, good!

Delivery man shocking and got 5 prawns for 18 quid and some rice and cabbage not worth the money

First time and not disappointed all three of us enjoyed our starters and mains I hadn't eaten all day and good job ,as still couldn't finish the klevtiko lamb that fell off the bone .staff friendly and enjoyed the Turkish music could of been in turkey .

Walking past and saw this place. I love Turkish food so we booked for that night. The waiter was attentive and friendly. The food was outstanding . I had feta parcels to start and salmon for my main. Hubby had king prawn starter and lamb chops main . Beautifully presented and beautiful to eat. I highly recommend this restaurant.

There is a great atmosphere inside, low light, a wonderful place. The food and service were perfect and delicious like the atmosphere. They hosted us very nicely, they were very polite and kind to us. I ate Ali Nazik, my friend ate Chiken shish, it was so delicious that its taste is still on my palate. :) If we ever go to Weymouth again, we will definitely be here. If you want to have a nice meal and have a good time, you should definitely visit here

Super food and great service- absolutely cracking

We would have loved to eat there - but were turned away quite abruptly at the door - because of our small dog. And that even though the restaurant was empty. Information about this would have been helpful, then we wouldn't have gone there for nothing. We then ate at Rockfish for over £100 - our dog was very welcome there! Edith: I rated exactly two restaurants negatively! Coincidentally on the same street. We looked on the homepage and in the reviews and found no restrictions regarding dogs. Since we are not from England, calling was not possible! Bans should be communicated openly - otherwise you have to live with a corresponding assessment!

Absolutely fantastic restaurant if you are in Weymouth go here for dinner you will not be disappointed. I had the mixed grill the selection of meats were cooked perfectly and delicious the lamb chops were excellent probably some of the best I have eaten in a Turkish restaurant. Friendly attentive staff reasonable prices if I ever come back to Weymouth ill be eating here again for certain.

Lovely mixed kebab, good quality, very fresh nice salad and generous portion of bread included. Baba ganoush light with great flavour. Friendly delivery. Definitely recommend.

Had dinner here thrice during our holiday. The mixed grill (chicken wings, chicken cubes, lamb kofte and lamb chops) is superb; tasty, tender and good quality meat. Staff have amazing attitude. Toilet is clean. Hope they open a branch in Oxford.

food took 2 hrs to be delivered, after an hour they changed to 1hr 30 after i chased then still took 2 hrs and the food was cold. no refund offered and still charged me £2 for delivery

Table for three last Friday whilst staying overnight in Weymouth. Very nice evening, Kebab Grill was great, was tempted by the Mixed Grill but, to be honest the KG was enough, Mussels & White Wine sauce starter - excellent. Couldn't fault this restaurant, would definitely return if in Weymouth. Not on the cheap side but really worth the expense. Best to book in advance, it gets busy at the weekend. Thank you the Rona Bar & Grill.

We had a salad and a babaganoush as a starter. Both very good. Then a lamb dish with vegetables. Very good dish served with rice. The only downside is that the quantity of rice served with the dish is really very small and when you ask for a little more they charge you £3.5 per portion. We got a bottle of water for £58.

Incredible food, cocktails, and service. The cold mezza platter and Mixed Kebab dishes were excellent. Can't recommend enough!

Very nice well come, Food and appetizers were legendary and best restaurant in the area.

This is the 3rd time I have ordered from Rona’s. Usually the food is delicious but tonight our meal was below par. It arrived 45 minutes late and cold. The chicken dish was soggy and cold. Our order was also wrong. We did not receive the aubergine.

Really enjoyed our evening at rona. The food was fantastic. Can't complain at the prices either. Nice reaxing atmosphere.
