Eat a Pitta in Bristol, City of

Pedí comida para llevar en la tienda de baño el jueves 2 nd, anteriormente he estado en la tienda para la comida en otra ocasión. En ambas ocasiones ha faltado el servicio de alguna manera y me ha decepcionado el gusto. Encontré en ambas ocasiones la comida sosa y empapada, también he experimentado algo malo con lo que recibí en ambas ocasiones. El pedido más reciente fue un cuenco con berenjena, buñuelos de maíz dulce y una bebida. Los buñuelos de maíz dulce estaban quemados y no eran comestibles, así que fueron directamente a la papelera. Había un mensaje escrito a mano en la bolsa y también un artículo adicional que no había pedido y fue etiquetado como una "sorpresa". Mientras que el personal había tomado el tiempo y esfuerzo para hacer esto, irónicamente se habían olvidado de incluir uno de los artículos que realmente había pedido! Me estaba perdiendo mi bebida. Por lo tanto, terminé deseando nunca haber pedido de aquí en absoluto - bebida faltante, comida quemada y no comestible, tazón suave. No volveré a visitar esta tienda, lo cual es una pena.

El tamaño de la porción ha caído en un tercio. Los Pittas también son mucho más pequeños. En mi opinión, ya no hay relación calidad-precio. Qué pena. La comida todavía sabe encantador.

La comida es tan fresca y muy muy sabrosa, que tienen una pequeña zona de estar arriba. Tuvimos el tazón en lugar de la pitta, estaba embestido con todas las golosinas que habíamos elegido, falafel encantador y halloumi fue lo mejor que he probado. Qué sabores tan encantadores. Nos dio una tapa para que pudiéramos llevar comida que no podíamos comer a casa. Precios muy razonables para lo que obtienes

Solo encantadora comida fresca que se sirve rápidamente en el medio de Bath. ¡Muy lleno también! Bonito entorno. ¿Por qué este lugar no está lleno de gente? Una opción mucho mejor que casi todos los locales de comida rápida en Bath.

Happened to come across Eat a Pitta on Tuesday afternoon with a friend, we bought two and they were excellent - this is soul food of the highest order, food for Gods and Goddesses. We were welcomed by Hannah and were already here again, would give this place 10 stars if I could x

I’ve never been able to find a better fast-food falafel in a pitta. A lot of places just stuff pittas with cabbage. But these guys put in couscous and chickpeas as well as a really nice salad. Well done guys.

After all these years still one of the (if not the) greatest falafel stall(s) in the country! Every time I come to Bristol I make a point of eating here at least once.

Great lunch option. Eat-a-Pitta has 5 locations in Bristol and another in Bath. This review is for the Gloucester Road branch (currently shown in the wrong place on the Trip Advisor Map, but I've notified them so this should get corrected). You can get a takeaway in a wrap or box, or you can do as we did and eat upstairs in the nice cafe space. The food was great: all freshly prepared in front of you to your specifications. Good value at £7.25 for a great falafel wrap with loads of salads, hummus etc. Lots of other options available too. Nice vibe and good service from the friendly woman doing all the preparation.

Leaving 3 stars based on all experiences but the last 2 have been poor unfortunately. Not sure what has changed but the veg is flavourless and very watery. The pita I just finished had almost become 100% water by the time I had 1/4 left and it was inedible. Huge shame as this used to be my go-to for years but two bad experience in a row, I probably won’t return.

Fantastic food, i really liked the falafels.

I munched on my friends falafel and hummus. It only cost him £4 and was the best falafel I've ever had. Granted I've only had falafel from Sainsbury's but still. It was very nice.

I recently visited the Old City of Bristol for the first time and stumbled upon the bustling food street. Among the many options, Eat a Pitte restaurant caught my eye, and I am so glad I decided to give it a try. The falafel they served was absolutely delicious - freshly cooked right in front of my eyes. The combination of the crispy falafel and the fresh salad was a true delight. Not only was the food outstanding, but the staff was incredibly polite and attentive. The manager ensured that everything ran smoothly and made my dining experience even more enjoyable. Their dedication to providing great service really stood out. The restaurant has convenient opening hours, from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, but do note that they are closed on Sundays. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Eat a Pitte and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tasty and memorable meal in Bristol. I rate it 5 stars!

Saw this place had a long queue so thought it must be good. I decided to try it out and I am so glad I did. The food was very nice and the customer service was excellent. I would definitely try it again if I was in the area.

This was AMAZING! I wish I lived here to eat this all the time!!! They have a loyalty card too which is so great. Buy 10 get one free. Love a deal! The falafel pita on wholemeal bread was so yum! The fillings were fresh and tasty and the pita was packed with joy and goodness. We shared it between 2 and it was a very good size! The staff were SO friendly and I loved the happiness and enthusiasm they had. It would be a mistake to not eat here. I can't believe they are only in Bristol. Yum yum yum

More than delicious falafel especially salad

Good place to grab a bite in Bristol city centre. Look at the menu and make your own platter. Its good food at that price. Most of the time quee which makes food are cooked fresh.

In town, what to eat? Always the winner. Simple but so bloody good. Staff are great, getting everything done quickly and with a great attitude, turning round a load of customers. Just wish they had permission to do up the outside sitting area a bit...

Every time I come to Bristol I always try to come here, the food is amazing, quality of produce is always spot on and price is good. Cannot ask for anything more. Other than you need to open one in Bath.

Staff always happy positive vibes. Gets very busy but food is always fresh. You may wait a bit when it gets to lunch time. They have outdoor seating but no indoor. Great for dry sunny days. Price has gone up quite a bit. You cant really park near by. Best to park in shopping mall and have a explore and get a eat a pitta on the way. For people new to bristol you will find it by smell. Delicious 😋

It seems like every time we order from here, something is missing. Last time, they forgot a pitta. This time it’s a flat bread and falafel. When you call, nobody answers. Really disappointing. We’re local and love this place, but are getting to the point where we’ll stop using it.

Oh my god, so awesome! I am coeliac and very sensitive to gluten so I am really careful about where I eat. I saw a review saying this place was good but it totally surpassed all expectations. Both the people who served me were super lovely and happy and chatty. The falafel texture was really good and they followed our requests really well (about how much of each salad we wanted). It was good value for money as the £8.50 salad bowl easily filled 2 of us up. They have separate salad stuff for coeliacs and even opened new packets of forks and containers so we felt extra safe. I am beyond delighted that I can now go into town without worrying about where I am going to eat if I get hungry. Please eat there, you won't regret it!

I ate here regularly but got very pretty disappointed by my latest order, for £8, cold falafels and 90% salad, 10% tabouleh.

I just love eat a pitta. They are the best falafel salad box place I have been to. I especially love how many salads you get and the pickles. I would like to know what the best sauces are as there are so many options but the chili and lemon tahini are really good. Might try the green sauce or tzatziki next! The prices are very reasonable and service is great. I wish they would open in London as I know they’re a popular chain. This location is an outdoor stall and just has outdoor seating.

Love this place. The smell alone just draws you in. Always polite, very friendly and helpful staff. They don’t expect you just to know what to ask for and help you through the options. We had 4 falafel with salad, tzatziki and hot chilli sauce which was amazing value at £6.85 and was so tasty!

Even at the Christmas market, which was very busy, my consideration was given to cleanliness. I know it's hard to keep everything in order with so much movement. Other than that, the staff does their best.

Simply incredible. Delicious, fresh, budget, healthy, sustainable… such a good concept that it should be exported outside Bristol frontiers. There are different menus suiting different needs. You’ll find yours for sure! My favorite one. Watch out the seagulls!!

WOW! WOW! WOW! Visiting and saw this place so added it to our plans ... didn't disappoint! The whole experience was Brill! The welcome, recommendation, the service, the price. Amazing Team Tom has. The variety of salads is great and they get so much in the box (no lettice in site!) And somehow manage to still find space for the flafals - Incase you hadn't realised - highly recommended (please come to Exeter!!!) Thank you

I've always loved eat a pitta. Generous portions, nice salad, punchy chilli sauce. Do be aware that the falafel is deep fried and may be too crunchy if you're used to softer falafel. They often offer try before you buy so you can see if it suits you first.

Not really sure why this is rated so high. My falafel bowl is was like 80% salad, couple of sad cold falafels and a teaspoon of hummus.

Good, generous and varied salad, stuffing the pitta to overflowing point. 5 falafels for the large pitta but...as others have noted, they can be forgetful and put just three at the bottom, so watch out for those last two.... The falafels themselves are OK. My only complaint is that I prefer places that serve them superfresh straight from the frier, whereas here they come from a container - however, they cannot have been fried too long in advance, as their texture was still quite good. Prices are a bit high compared to what I can get in London for similar quality and quantity. Seating places outside. Staff is oh so nice but can also be oh so absent-minded.

The boys who serve food, take this place to another level. Amazing energy and food vibes. They make you feel like you are valued and you feel the love in the way you are served. The food is good too.

Best falafel I've had outside of the Middle East!

Highly recommend for some cheap, delicious and nutritious food. I was passing by and could smell something amazing, so I asked for whatever had the most flavour. I received a box with a flavour explosion, falafels with delicious salad and healthy vegetables. I also had their red juice, strawberry and raspberry flavoured, making the most enjoyable meal I've had in a long time.

Great falafel, salad and pitta place for quick take away food. You have options of whether to get your falafel and salad in a box or in a pitta. Really good portion sizes and all of the ingredients are delicious. Falafels are crispy and hot. Houmous is delicious and you get a good amount. Regular falafel box was £7.95 for all salad and 5 falafels. It filled me up for lunch and dinner. They have some outdoor seats just outside which is helpful.

Food is delicious and taste healthy, however, everytime I order the same thing (Hummus bowl) and everytime it's different. Sometimes they are generous and make it full with salad and 5 pieces of falafel. Sometimes you only get 3 falafel and the salad is just greedy (the box is like half full). I guess you need to be lucky which person will serve you! I ordered today around 19:00 by a lady. I won't be coming here any time soon.
