Great food, get the mixed meat Shawarma on shoom (spelling could be wrong!). Quick service and the staff were also very friendly.

After a search on restaurants we hadn't been to in Manchester Centre which we could book for a Saturday night I chose Bab. We had cocktails first which were okay but the choice of babs were good and excellent. You don't need sides unless you are very hungry! We'll be back.

Mac N Cheese was watery, and the children wings didn’t have much seasoning on them

Once again a great meal in a lovely atmosphere. Good friendly service So lucky to have this place close by for when a treat that must involve garlic is what we want. The crab balls on the specials were delicious.. Thanks

We have just moved into Marple Bridge and this was our first visit to our local cafe. The food was good, the staff weren't. I would like to make it clear that it was not a busy time and good service costs nothing. First, a young man came to us after we'd been waiting at the door for some time and said he'd clear a table. Only he didn't come back. A while later, another guy came and said he needed to clear a table. Eventually, we were seated. When the food arrived quite a while later, there was no cutlery for me. I gestured to the young waiter who, without an ounce of apology, gestures back that he was now serving someone else and would be with me as and when. I encouraged my son not to wait and to eat his food while it was hot. I think it would be hard to find such blaise waiting staff. This is a shame as the food itself was good.

food is appalling , no selection and cheap poor quality food.No option and basically same meals for dinner and lunch this past week we have had to starve as poor options !For breakfast we have had to have dry cake!

Called in with friends for an early dinner. It’s a while since we’ve been here but the meat feast was as good as ever. Some with smaller appetites had the mixed meze as a main and were delighted with their choice

Avoid ! Restaurant was freezing - everyone kept their coats on. Chicken livers were Tasteless, long delays- 3 hours for pizza/pasta is ridiculous! Long wait for dishes meaning some people had finished while others hadn’t even got their meal. 3 dishes sent back as they were cold- sent back again as still cold. 2 guests left having not been served a main course. Bill had items on but ordered or provided. Another table left refusing to pay for food it was so bad. Felt sorry for the waitress who kept apologising to all tables. Won’t be returning.

Fui a 51 para San Valentín y fue fantástico. Tenían especiales de comida de San Valentín y cócteles también. Nos dieron el pollo de casarme y la coliflor Katsu del menú de ofertas y eran tan sabrosos, también tuvimos algunos trozos del menú normal y eran igual de agradables. Nuestra camarera era la gracia, ella era tan amable y servicial en darnos recomendaciones sobre qué probar y nada era demasiado problema para ella. La comida salió rápidamente y hubo un poco de espera en las bebidas, pero era comprensible ya que el restaurante estaba lleno. Sin duda volveremos de nuevo

Excellent value two course lunch for £12.95 each, served 12 til 3pm. We ate outside as the weather was so nice. The food was hot, visually appealing and tasted fabulous. All the staff were really friendly.

I’ve just come off the phone with the manager. Who was shockingly unhelpful, patronising and unapologetic. I had my 33 year old brothers funeral wake there and it was awful. I paid £870 for room and gold buffet. People came in to a cold dark unlit room. The memory table was not set up. The staff were miserable, unhelpful and rude. There was no music on in background. The atmosphere was terrible. The buffet was awful and was put out late after prompting. There was a lady standing guard of the buffet doling out tiny portions. I was incredibly awkward. At one point she told me off for trying to serve myself some hotpot. The sandwiches were dry and cheap. They did not lay out enough for 50 people. When I complained - I was told they would have made more if more was needed. There was a couple of pieces of tiny chopped up cheap cake. That is not what I paid for. People would not believe I paid £870 for this and more importantly my brothers wake ruined. I will never set foot in the place again.

AWFUL RIP OFF! got 2 x wraps, virtually no meat in them at all (more meat in a happy neal chicken nugget) salad, lettuce and olives only! NEVER AGAIN! Worst £14.50 I've ever spent!

average by any standard. Really not the place for a lavish meal. I generally go out when I stay. Service is OK but not spectacular
