They serve the usual Turkish food. The quality of food was nice and tasty. All food is halal. The staff were friendly and welcoming. They have a large and specially decorated dining hall upstairs, giving it a great ambience. The service was slow, as the burgers arrived when everyone else had finished eating. The burgers are not recommended even for the taste. Highly recommended if you enjoy grilled meat and chicken.

Ordered from here. Due to dietary requirements we ordered the “green pizza” which stated it came with no cheese… when the food arrived with cheese we called to enquire. I have never been spoken to with such disrespect. The owner was rude and very disrespectful. Considering we ordered £140 worth of food young thought the restaurant would have been understanding as accident happen… I will never buy from this establishment again and advise those who value customer service to do the same.

Usually really incredible but this time they phoned me to let me know didn't have (A) on the menu so I let them know that we will accept anything else as long as it doesn't have bread as my Mrs is coeliac. They said that's ok... Then just blocked my number and didn't deliver anything and later found out they cancelled the order...

This was an absolute highlight of our trip to the lake district. Food was delicious and fresh, service was quick and lovely, and the decor was really fun! Best place in the area by a margin

Meal deal at lunch time is amazing value, the food was sublime, amount and quality was 10/10 went today with my wife, sorry should of taken a picture but eaten half before I thought about it. You need to go, support them and you will not be sorry... take care

Normally excellent and helpful but when it says "chiken & donner" for a mixed meal I would expect lamb and chicken donner not just chicken donner.

Even tho we had problems the food turned up amazing and tasted good and the service was amazing the food exploded in the bag and he went back and came back with a fresh batch excellent customer service best iv ever had

Ordered take away 2 x half n half 1 hour late Food cold Food tasteless NOT COMPLAINT BEFORE BUT FELT I HAD TO. I would have contracted the owner but not able rather than do on here. This is the first food I have had from this restaurant that has been that bad, normally everything has been perfect, n the food delicious. Sorry guys, but I’m proper miffed about it.

Ordered takeaway pizzas. My vegetarian pizza had meat on it. Clearly it had fallen on it from another pizza or had been made next to another pizza, so no protection against cross contamination. When phoning to let them know there was an issue I was accused of lying and told by the manager that he made our pizzas and there was no meat on that pizza. When I asked for a refund he told me that this pizza was the free one in a BOGOF so there was nothing to refund. He eventually agreed to collect the pizza. He rang me back at 10:45, almost 5 hours after delivery and after we had gone to bed and left a voice mail saying he wanted to come but as there was no answer he couldn't come. He never attempted to make contact again.

We booked a table to dine in and immediately it felt off. The restaurant was empty at 6pm and the service was lacking. One of us ordered a Long Island which originally turned out to have sambuca in it, had it remade and it was just undrinkable - it tasted like paint thinner. We ordered starters that all seemed to come out fine and the food itself was decent but the mains weren’t great. The rice was cheap microwaved vegetable rice, the spicy tagliatelle tasted sweet, the burger came without cheese then took a good 5 minutes to come back. Overall it was just lacklustre. Desserts - the chocolate cake was clearly cheap, tasted like something a cheap takeaway would sell. The white chocolate and blueberry brûlée ended up being a frozen strawberry cheesecake which was not told to us before we got it. When we went to pay the man at the front accused us of someone not paying their bit when it honestly seemed more like there was a miscalculation. The only staff member who didn’t seem blatantly rude was a clearly untrained teenager who I feel sorry for. When I asked at the end about the dessert not even being what was ordered I was basically told to deal with it because they ran out. I’ll admit I said some choice words I wouldn’t usually say but as someone who’s worked in hospitality the whole thing left a sour taste in my mouth. It’s a once-good restaurant that’s cheapening the products but not the prices. Never going back and would never recommend

my order has never arrived. I got a message to say it was on its way then a notification saying enjoy you food, but not here, iv contacted the restaurant but still nothing and it's now been over 2 hours.

Claimed they came 1 hour again, when I was waiting out side for over an hour. They even said they went into reception but the receptionist wouldn’t take the order I ask and no had been, they also said they rang me, (when the delivery arrived they had noted down the wrong number) was waiting outside for an hour. Tried saying they will charge me an extra £3 delivery. No apologies food was cold and unable to eat, my bottle water was warmer than my food.

Excellent Food and Service... Rarely do we visit a restaurant twice in a weekend but the choice of tasty food and great service makes Kapadokya a winner... As a group of 9 people we were welcomed (which surprised us as many restaurants couldn't accomodate a a large group) with great service there was a meal choice to everyone's liking... Great Value... Really excellent food and service... Rarely do we visit a restaurant twice in a weekend but Kapadokya is so good we went on Friday and Sunday evening. As a large group (9 people) they sat and served us quickly. Wide range of great food meant there was something for everybody's taste...

Thought we would try here as the reviews seemed decent. First off it's quite expensive, didn't seem to be any discount for takeaway though. The food smelt good whilst waiting l. The staff were friendly. The reason I've given 2 stars is because a few items off our order were missing. We didn't order that much, but by the time we'd left we were about 15 mins away. Food was nice though, so if you do order from here just double check all the items are in the bag.

Ordered our food online, Delivery guy turned up didn't have any change so said he'd go back to the shop and come back with it. Normally don't mind with a pound or two but this was £4.90. He must have had a few hundred in notes on him. Anyways phoned them a few hours later and they said he will bring it when they are not as busy. Next day we phoned again and was told they know nothing about it and he will talk to the manager.

Went for an early fathers day meal which my wife organised. The food was fantastic, we couldn't fault it at all, absolutely delicious, but the service was terrible. Our starters arrived together and were tasty, limited on drinks options due to no availability, but we ordered alternatives and drinks came. (I was bemused at seeing cans of Kronenburg being carried upstairs as an alternative from it being poured from the pump, but charging much higher rates for pouring the can into the glass). My main arrived and we waited for my wife's to arrive...and waited...and waited. 20mins passed and it came, which meant mine was now cold. Not only that, they didnt bring the chips, bread or chilli sauce we ordered. Whilst waiting for my wife's meal, a couple left as their sides came (and were eaten) whilst awaiting their mains, which didn't turn up, so they up'd and left. Another young couple weren't even asked or offered a menu or drink after 30mins, so they left too. Having one waitress attend to all customers was dreadful, and there were only 12 people in there, of which four left unsatisfied before we finished our food. Overall, the food is absolutely fantastic, but the service is terrible, if they didn't focus on money saving by having just one waitress (who was fantastic by the way and tried her best), this place could be amazing. The waitress was apologetic when we paid the bill and removed the extras we ordered. I'd definitely purchase food from here again, but for a collection order, the dine in experience was woeful.

Wouldn't go again Terrible aervice and attitude from the owner. Orange juice tasted like it was 6 years out of date. When I complained to the waiter, I was told that's how it tastes. Got a cheesecake, still frozen! Again, the owner said that's how it is.... Avoid this place, like the plague!

I really, really wanted to enjoy this restaurant. I'm partial to a kebab, even when sober, so I was excited to try out a real Turkish restaurant. I arrived a little earlier than I had booked and was seated upstairs where there is a quirky cave theme. It was an easy 35 minutes until someone took my order. It then took quite some time for the food to arrive. When it did though, it looked appetising and to be honest, it was a good size and tasted good. However. When I ordered two large still waters to accompany my meal, I was expecting two large bottles of branded water at £3.50 each. What I received was two pints of water, filled to the top and with ice. Clearly tap water. I don't mind tap water and to be fair, I much prefer it but not to be charged £7 for two pints of it. Peckham Spring rings a bell. I was looking forward to returning as the pizzas that were coming out of the kitchen looked fabulous. Sadly, it's highly unlikely that I will return to Kapadokya due to the long service time and high cost of tap water. Shame really.

This place is amazing. My all-time favourite restraunt! They have a wide range of delicious foods, and lovley service! If you are going to dine at this fine restraunt, make sure to bring extra plates!! 😍🥰

Really poor service, 3 people for starters and mains. One starter calamari chewy and unpleasant One main arrived cold, this was replaced however was unpleasant At the end of the meal feedback on the un eaten plate was given, and met with two staff members shouting at guests, being very unpleasant and threatening, accusing customers of being drunk, despite serving them alcohol. Overall very disappointing experience. Needless to say we won't be back, nor will we recommend.

Unbelievable place. First time going and I'll be back. If you like your meat and have a decent appetite if highly recommend the Kapadokya Grill - wow. For what you get you'd pay double in somewhere like Manchester or Liverpool. Meat is of high quality and tastes unreal. These guys take great pride in the food they serve up. And to top it off - Efes on tap. Thanks guys, I'll be back soon.

After I was happy to find a Turkish restaurant, unfortunately the restaurant owners disappointed me. There was hair in my food. I called back. My intention was neither to get a refund nor to complain. I said, with good intentions, if you want hair in your food, be careful. I wouldn't say. They accused me of slander. It was not possible for hair to grow. The cook was bald and everyone was wearing a bonnet. It is not my intention to get a refund. I told them that they were from my hometown and that's why they wanted to give feedback. The gentleman on the phone hung up on me. When I called back he said I was a liar. What a shame. If you do this to your own countrymen, what will you do to others? I leave you to God.

My initial experience at Kapadokya Restaurant Barrow was good, with tasty food and decent portion sizes. However, the quality has been declining, and the last two deliveries included burnt naan bread, bland rice and burnt lamb chops. Disappointing. Not ordering anymore. Improvement definitely needed.

We were there for holidays with families. We took out food. It's look normal from outside. It's very peaceful and beautiful from inside. Service is good, with friendly staff. Food is excellent and portions are large. All food is beautifully cooked, very fresh and delicious. We had kapadokya grill, Lamb grill, meat donner, salad, hamus, boiled rice and sausages with fries. Kids loved food. It's Halal too.i Recommend it for everyone

STAY AWAY! ... didn't give food ordered and then wouldn't help! What did come was pure fat thigh brown chicken... see pics! Not chicken breast cubes as described! Also gave me salad when I put no salad and typed in the box about allergie... yet when I asked they said just scrap it off!!!! Whoever that was should not be working in catering

Well it isn’t my first time trying a Turkish , Mediterranean food in a restaurant. It’s normally a kebab takeaway. So I don’t normally shy away from trying new foods from around the world, But on a whim I seen Kapadokya when finishing work late one night. And I can honestly say the food was absolutely amazing, from the salad,rice and the meat. Every bite was well tasty. Also the price is quite reasonable for the amount of food you receive. 👍🏻

The Food was really nice but the service was poor my partner waited 20 minutes for her cocktail to come after I had got my beer. Her pizza wasn't the correct one and the portion of fries she ordered never came they did swap the pizza but as it was a bit of a wait to get our mains any by the the time the correct pizza came she didn't really hungry any more. Will say the food was really good and the prices are very reasonable.

We ordered a takeaway through barrow eats, bayti sarma for me which was wrong, they sent the chicken one instead, we ordered a bottle of Pepsi to share and they sent Pepsi max, we called up to ask for Pepsi to be sent instead to be told “we don’t do Pepsi only Pepsi max” I said well you need to change the menu on barrow eats. Asked for coke to be sent instead, “no we don’t have coke” (this is also on barrow eats) So I asked for the Pepsi max to be refunded and we wouldn’t have ordered a drink if we knew it was only Pepsi max, he said all drivers are busy so can’t refund. Very very rude man with absolutely no apology for what was clearly their mistake! Won’t be returning.

Ordered from Barrow eats. Proper lamb kebab salad rice and Turkish bread. Paid extra for fried and a drink. No sooner had I placed the order I got a notification that they were on their way to deliver. It was more than 20 minutes over the estimated time and when it arrived everything was stone cold. Nothing worse than cold lamb and fries! To top it off no Turkish bread! When I rang up to complain, how dare I! I repeated my address 5 times and then was told they could send another one out but I would have to wait as they are so busy! Get it right first time and look after paying customers?. Surely? Really disappointed!

Only half my order arrived on time, I called and said what was missing, the rest was sent out later on but wasn't as nice as usual and it spoilt our tea not having it all together. Kapadokya is usually my favourite and can't be faulted but this really disappointed my family and a lot of the food ended up being wasted

On time, hot as usual, nice and tasty, one slight issue, mixed kebab wrap had too much grease left in it, please in future drain the meat by tossing in a colander or squeeze it in grease proof paper

Take away very cold and bland. Ordered no salad and salad came on it chips hardly cooked. Royal istanbul is a far better takeaway

Easy the best burger and chips I’ve had from take out food actually turn up hot chips are delicious 🤤 delivery drive was very polite and friendly. Would recommend to anybody best experince ordering out since I moved here by a long shot 😊

Wow, I had an incredible dining experience at Kapadokya Greek Cuisine! My partner and I ordered the mixed platter for two and it was absolutely delicious. The cold mezes were a delightful start to our meal, followed by the mouthwatering mixed meat platter and a fresh salad with rice. The portions were ample and left us feeling completely satisfied. The food was top-notch, the service was excellent, and there was such a relaxed atmosphere. We left with happy hearts and full stomachs!

-5* FOOD IS DISGUSTING, just tested it before it went in the bin. absolutely terrible, don't listen to instructions and completely useless and rude on the phone, first and LAST time I'll be using!!!! And another thing, £2.50 for about 5 chips in a little box, RIP OFF DONT EVEN BOTHER TRYING THESE PEOPLE, JUST GO TO MARMARIS

Service & food very poor here, unfortunately. Definitely don't order takeaway from here, insultingly low portions of meat on XL order and when questioned, I was told "meats expensive...." phone down. 1/5 service, 1/5 Food.

Brilliant venue, brilliant efficient and polite staff . We had a table of 23 and everyone had perfect food on time. Unsure why the reviews are so low when the venue and food we had was so great .

Was once my favourite pizza place of Barrow - I'd buy the 2 for 1 deal and get it delivered to the skate park for everyone, and we all loved it. It seems like this place was just hit by covid in a pretty devastating way. the bases are no longer any resemblance to what they once where, nor are the toppings. I really hope Kapadokya can properly recover.

Ordered the seafood pasta and seafood pizza again as they were so delicious last time - and yet again just as delicious if not more - I can honestly say that these are the best meals I have had from Just Eat and I will contuing ordering the same.

Doesn't look much from the outside, but inside is great and upstairs is fabulous. Food choices are extensive with a very varied menu from traditional Turkish cuisine to pasta and pizza. Lovely presented plates with very tasty food. Will definitely return.

£13.90 for chefs special!? Chicken was frozen chunks not thinly sliced. Sautéed potatoes were boiled with no colour. Lamb Shizh was greasy. Halloumi with cherry tomatoes had no tomatoes. Couldn’t be more disappointed.

Here the service was stressed and a bit unfriendly, although the restaurant was only occupied by 3 tables. The food was okay. Then we could watch how the service lady looked at two guests annoyed, of course they left again. I was then on the toilet where I was a bit shocked about the cleanliness and it smelled a bit. In passing, I saw the dishes piled up behind the counter.

Takeaway review!! Not my first poor takeaway so now worthy of a review. Out of 6 pizzas ordered, 1 was completely the wrong pizza, 1 was small when we ordered XL, 1 we paid for extra chilli’s which had none and worse of all we ordered the seafood pizza 14” it had 2 prawns, 7 mussels and 6 pieces of micro squid!! Very disappointed, the food from the takeaway is nowhere near the standard of the restaurant. Which unfortunately will stop me going there in the future.

Fantastic place! Looks like a standard kebab and pizza shop from the front but inside and upstairs- wow. The decor to look like a cave is gorgeous and like nothing I've ever seen before. The waitress was friendly and efficient. Our starters were absolutely beautiful- my halloumi was cooked to perfection and was just a perfect size portion for me. My salmon main was incredible, especially the potatoes. It was all so incredibly reasonable too, really impressed!

The food was excellent but terrible service and behavior by the manager. The lady was rude, and was extremely irritable while taking orders, which was really a let down and spoilt our experience - hope the restaurant takes action. Managers facing customers need to be well-mannered and patient.

Ordered the Special munchy 18” mix box, came 35-40 minutes late, cold food, chicken burger under cooked, chicken nuggets over cooked, such a shame as ordered same in the past and it was lovely

We have had a delivery from Kapadokya and it was shocking. My husband's main meal of Balic Tava for £14.50 was literally half a portion. Absolutely shocking. My husband has complained and they said it's the price of sea food. Absolutely ridiculous. We've always loved this restaurant, but this is the last time 🤬🤬🤬

Staff told me food is halal however there was bacon on the menu. Alcohol is also served at this 'halal business' Rude waitress upstairs who made the whole thing awkward. We left after 5 minutes. Would not recommend to anyone wanting halal food
