for £8.50 this is a real joke. My falafel was packed so light it’s basically all pita. really inconsistent quality but when they get it right it’s pretty tasty

Nice pleasant staff, and interesting vegetarian buffet options that are a cut above. Very good value for money.

Turn right out of the station and on your left near the bridge. Can't mis it. First Class kebab shop with great staff :)

This is a nice little find in Camberwell, a Lebanese cafe serving shwarmas and mixed grills cooked over a real charcoal the way it should be and not on a metal griddle surface like your local greasy kebab shop. I had a lamb kofte that came served with Lebanese rice and salad. I had this with a serving of falafel and carrot juice on the side. Great lunch. With an extra juice, the entire thing came up to £9 and I was completely satisfied. Everything cooked to perfection and very tasty indeed. The décor is simple and honest and the guy behind the counter is friendly. Good place for a good, healthy lunch at an affordable price.

¡He comido allí mucho y siempre me ha encantado! Bastante razonable y fresco.

We had the most incredible afternoon tea experience at Sketch (Gallery) as part of their Sketch in Bloom: A Floral Chapter celebrating 250 years of Jane Austen. The setting was absolutely magical — the place is transformed into a floral wonderland with live music adding to the elegant ambiance until 1 June 2025. The afternoon tea itself was exceptional. Beautifully presented, full of flavour, and we were so pleased to find a halal menu option. Every detail, from the service to the surroundings, was thoughtfully curated. The staff were attentive, warm, and made us feel truly welcome. And don’t miss the iconic Sketch toilets — such a fun and quirky part of the experience that adds to the charm of the visit! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable afternoon tea in London.

First time going to Maroush in a very long time, so I was relying on memories of the place and what a disappointment. Food wasn't good, yet expensive for what we got. Service was alright, friendly but quite in a rush for us to order. Food came really quickly as well, which made sense as it is called 'express'. The interior was dated and impersonal. I guess next time we'll either do some research or give a go to one of the numerous restaurants on the road.
