Great little place - 5 mins walk from town Center - small menu but everything we had was great!

A very late review but always consistently good food in Arbequina and a firm favourite. Worth going for the tortilla alone!

Lovely spot. Good light. Nice service. Breakfast was only average. Portions small. I had the hash which was loose and wet, lacked texture and maybe content! I don’t recommend the home made cola. Coffee was good.

Great restaurant in the heart of Newtownards Town, ample parking either on street on in the nearby car park (75m).They have both a ground and first floor dining area. Good range of dishes on the menu and they have a children's menu. Food is well cooked and presented, the staff are welcoming and friendly;the service was top notch.

From the moment we walked into Mem’s Mezze, we were greeted with the warmest welcome. The atmosphere is inviting and beautifully put together, but what really sets this place apart is the incredible staff. Every single person was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The food? Absolutely delicious. Every dish was bursting with flavor and clearly made with love and care. It's rare to find a place where every single bite feels special — but Mem’s Mezze nailed it. A special shoutout to the amazing hosts, Mem and Elvin – they are so lovely, genuine, and clearly passionate about what they do. Their presence adds a personal touch that makes the whole dining experience unforgettable. Can’t wait to come back!

The manager was extremely rude and unprofessional. We booked two tables for a total of 10 a week prior and called beforehand requesting for tables next to each other. Although our tables were close, we were refused one large table despite empty tables and chairs and were lied to that a big group is expected. The manager was very unprofessional and discriminatory this evening. There was a lack of enterprising initiative and a willingness to to help and oblige to customer requests. Further we were not served for a long time and our orders not taken until we had to call one of the staff a few times. Whilst I absolutely do not expect a favourable outcome from this review at all, I wish to highlight that this is a restaurant that needs its staff to be trained in professionalism, unconscious bias and discrimination. We have been here many times before and enjoyed the food but I will reconsider visiting again. PS: However I wish to add that despite our bad experience with the manager, we were served well by Sophie once she arrived to take our orders. IN reply to Jane Dowler: Thank you for replying back to my review. I am afraid there seems to be some distortion of facts and I wish to clarify the following. 1. We had to book separate tables a week before as we expected challenges in getting a large table for 5 couples. Paying a deposit was not the issue, as suggested in your reply! 2. We did request for closer tables the day before and were indeed allocated this. Again, I personally made a request for this, rather than one large table as we anticipated that this may not be available. However, we noted that some of the large tables were not occupied during the entire duration of our dinner, but were advised by Irene that a big group'was expected. 3. We had to wait for quite a while before our orders were taken, but once we had ordered, the drinks and food were indeed served promptly. 4. I am not sure of the 'noise'' you mentioned, and we were not asked to keep the noise level down as we were not noisy. 5. Also, I am sorry to say that no derogatory remarks were made by our friends. I guess we can agree to disagree, and the tone and body language and communication from Irene with my friends were clearly not in the true spirit of professionalism.

Delicious food, spotless environment, and a welcoming atmosphere. Huseyin provided excellent service, making our dining experience truly enjoyable. Highly recommend The Sheesh Turkish BBQ for authentic Turkish cuisine in Bury St Edmunds.

Came here for breakfast before heading to the airport. The food was amazing! I had the ‘Tower Sandwich’ and my word was it delicious! I was served with food within about ten minutes of ordering. The cafe got quite busy, telling me this is a popular spot. Highly recommended!

Visited at the weekend with friends. Fantastic service and food was delicious. The staff were so lovely & accommodating. Luke was our server and he was very professional and friendly. Great atmosphere.

Gran escenario aquí. Me alegra haberlo encontrado. Es una delicia gastronómica y visual. Los 22 asientos del restaurante están en un mostrador, con toda la comida cocinada frente a usted. El menú es al principio un poco abrumador, ya que no estamos acostumbrados a la comida norteafricana, pero está bien explicado e incluso se le dan sugerencias sobre cuánto pedir. La comida está destinada a ser compartida. Y es precioso de principio a fin. Disfrutamos cada bocado. Y todo con sabores impresionantes. Sería difícil ir aquí con más de 2 personas mientras se sientan uno al lado del otro, por lo que no deja mucho espacio para charlar en grupos. Me pareció un gran lugar para cenar solo, ya que no estás atrapado en una mesa solo. Hace calor ya que todas las parrillas / freidoras / hornos están en frente de usted. Gran música de fondo también.

My girlfriend and I really liked the place. We had a falafel container and it was soo good. Wonderful experience. The staff was also great. I forgot to ask the name of the lady (staff member) but she was too sweet and kind. I really loved the place.

We were a group of 5 and went after the Rugby for a post match meal . The staff were friendly and efficient, we tried the Turkish red wine which was good . We all really enjoyed our food .I would definitely recommend

Stopped in for a sharing dinner on date night. Great menu selection. We went for a few mezze dishes. Feta Saganaki was a highlight. High quality food and great drinks selection. Thanos served us, warm and helpful host ☺️ We will be back!
