Classic Persian Restaurant in Bradford

The Classic Persian was recommended to us by friends, booked a table for 4 people online which was simple enough to sort (confirmation via email and the Dojo app) for 6.30pm Saturday night, table ready a few minutes after arriving which gave us time to watch food cooking on the grill (it looked and smelt good) It's a "bring your own" for alcohol also so we were ready! Ordered starters and mains each plus the girls managed to fit in a shared pud (of course they did!!) Food was excellent 2 meat dishes & 2 fish dishes choice of rice or chips Lacked a little for vegetarians on the mains menu but other than that we loved it We'll be back

From the moment we stepped into Classic Persian Restaurant, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and a beautifully inviting atmosphere. The food was absolutely incredible – every dish was bursting with authentic Persian flavor. The Chelo Kebab Koubideh was perfectly grilled and tender, and the saffron rice was fragrant and delicious. Service was top-notch – the staff were attentive, friendly, and happy to offer recommendations. It’s clear they take pride in what they do. The portions were generous, and the presentation was spot on. Whether you’re new to Persian cuisine or a regular fan, this place is a gem in Bradford. We’ll definitely be coming back soon. Highly recommended!

The food is excellent on every visit. Really tasty and filling. One of the best restaurants in Bradford. Never had a bad experience. Can be very busy depending when you go but that’s because it’s so good. Staff are lovely and friendly, always happy to see you.

Food was good, would say price wise mine was £19.70 for halk chicken and lamb chunks, basically with half rice, half chips was tasty, the big let down was what looked like a bottle of chili sauce but was really to much tomato, i few others said there mains tasted very tomato tasting... overall 6.7

Went here on a Sunday night with a reservation and it wasn't very busy. We were seated upstairs and the service was a lot slower here compared to when we are seated downstairs - it took us a while to be able to flag someone down to get water to the table (midway through the meal). Our starters and mains arrived very quickly and the food was good. Starters were good although the meatballs were a little bland. The lamb kubideh was juicy and delicious and the chicken was very good as well. Overall it was a nice meal for a good price.

Non of the grills were tasty. Didn't have the Persian food flavour at all. Disappointment.

We found the restaurant by chance (got lost in Bradford)🤣. The food,the portions,the service,the staff all absolutely fantastic. If you read the reviews before visit restaurants,then this one is a must.

Booked a table for 9 people. There were also children. Celebrating a friend's 50th birthday, everyone ate and was happy, after 1.5 hours the waiter came over and asked if we wanted to take what we hadn't eaten with us or throw it away, and started rushing us to finish eating. It's not nice to do that, a person comes to you to relax and eat well and come back again. Unfortunately, I won't be back and I will recommend the same to others. The food was good 5 stars, the attitude is bad, stressful😶☹

Not great choice for vegetarian and not a great recommendation for anyone with allergies as staff did not know what the dished contained

There were 5 in our group for my son's 36th Birthday, we had a brilliant time, The service was quick, the food was out of this world, and we had a brilliant time. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming and we will definitely be visiting again. They even brought a small cake out with a candle on with was rather entertaining as we thought it was so funny. The atmosphere upstairs is very nice with the surroundings of artworks and artificial trees in the middle of the table. The food that they served was very delicious and I even enjoyed the dessert as I have Oreo Cheesecake and hot chocolate to go with it.

Guys, Classic Persian sell Coca Cola and the waiter was rude when I asked why they are not boycotting ! Not bothered that a genocide is taking place ! Also the meat chunks that me and my friend ordered, both were very chewy.

Classic Persian is my regular spot for authentic Persian food and it never fails to impress. I always go for the Chello Kebab Koubideh with rice, hummus and chips, and every time it’s cooked to perfection. The kebab is tender, juicy and full of flavour, while the rice is light and fluffy, just how it should be. The hummus is smooth and fresh, the chips are perfectly crispy, and everything comes together so well. It’s clear they take pride in the quality of their food and the consistency is second to none. If you’re looking for a proper Persian meal that hits the spot every time, this is the place to go.

Midweek and was very busy, we were a walk in of 4 so lucky to get a table straight away. Very welcoming, less than £20 per person for a main. Probably advisable to book.

Fantastic place, food is delicious. My favourite is chicken Fesenjan with rice. The chicken is stewed in a sauce made of ground walnuts and pomegranate molasses. Service is excellent, even when v busy as it was today.

Had the pleasure off dining here on a short break in the area Warm welcome from the owner/host on arrival followed by some off the freshest food cooked on open coals I opted for the salmon which was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing the seabass my friend had also looked amazing the portion sizes were huge and was a pleasure to dine in the restaurant

Visited here last Sunday with the Mrs and daughters. We were welcomed and seated immediately. It was a cosy restaurant and we were tucked in corner (we wanted this). The waiters are very attentive and nothing much too much trouble. Very patient and respectful. It's a family run restaurant and management were lovely. The food was amazing, we loved everything on the sharing platter. The flavours were so authentic and tasty. Since it was our first time here, we were hesitant in ordering more food, but no doubt we will return and try other items on the menu. Very reasonably priced! And good selection of desserts. The only criticism I have, and this wasn't a big issue for us but I think would really benefit, is to have a kids menu. Or children's portions. Otherwise, 10/10. Thank you.

Recently visited this place on my birthday, heard good things from people over the years so thought I'd give it a try. The food is bland 0 flavour, we went for the rice special and the stew very disappointed for the price.😕 hubby and I wasn't impressed and definitely won't be returning.

Consistently the best place around us to eat, fantastic food and the staff are great too. Shame that it's being sold as I pretty much guarantee it'll never be as good as it is currently.

Rolled up on spec, Sunday at 5pm. Car park was full. But thought it was worth a punt. Went in and asked if they had a table for 2. The manager said we're full, but wait a couple of minutes. Another couple entered and had a booking. Manager took them upstairs and seated them. Assume he checked with the team upstairs and found a space. Came back down and checked the reservations. Said we could have a table, if we could be in and out in an hour. Speed service was great! Unfortunately didn't have time to have dessert. The food was amazing, full of flavour and nicely presented. Only bad point is it's 25 miles and an hour from home!

Went with family, service was okay but not very friendly, no questions asked if the food was okay. Sat upstairs which was less busy. The food wasn't to my liking but my family enjoyed their meals.

Gutted to see this business is up for sale. It's one of our favourites for a takeout but have dined in too. Food is delicious and the staff are so lovely.

Absolutely loved this place. First time visiting and the food was amazing and lots of it. Very good with my partner who is coeliac, lots of choice for him. Service was first class and timely. We will definitely be back.

We were there at around 8pm and unfortunately most of their special Persian food was no longer served. So we ended up with regular grilled dishes. The food was okay but with no special tastes, especially with the prices that are quite expensive. The portion was medium and you have to pay extra money for starters and sauces, which lets you with very dry dishes.

WOW ! I got the salmon it was super fresh and tasty. The dessert was also lovely. I took my baby nephew and he kept throwing the toys on the floor, the manager was so lovely he kept picking them up bless him, had a right laugh but it really made our day. Smiles and kindness goes such a long way. Thankyou for a great experience may allah bless you all <3

Consistently good service and food here. The portion sizes of the starters are on the small side but the mains are usually decent. The staff are friendly and attentive. We took our own alcohol as only non-alcoholic drinks are available.

Ate here with 2 friends. We told the waitress we had a party member who was allergic to ground nuts and one that was intolerant to dairy. We asked if the hummus was dairy free, we were told twice it was, a man came over, I assume a manager and told us it was dairy free. When the meals were brought over, we checked again if the hummus was dairy free, the man told us it was. After a few mouthfuls of the hummus had been eaten, he came back and told us that it had yoghurt in and laughed as he said it. He was handed the hummus and told to take it away. There was no apology however. It was removed from the bill, however we cannot recommend eating here as they clearly do not take intolerance and allergies seriously.

I have to say I was not impressed, the kebabs were really brand could not taste it at all. plus charged £128 for 4 people. Expected a lot more for that price.

It's an absolutely fantasic place for traditional Iranian food the atmosphere is beautiful the service is high rated and the food OMG my taste buds were bouncing definitely a place to go and 1 of the top restaurants in Bradford
