What a gem of a place, not visited for years and thought we would have our anniversary meal. Was absolutely delicious, would highly recommend chicken pollo Marbella. The service for the lady for lovely too.

This lovely little place serves food with heaps of flavour! We had the bottomless brunch, with a fantastic selection of delicious dishes to choose from, and a solid choice of drinks! Service was fast and efficient, I’d certainly come back. The atmosphere could definitely have used a switch up just to get our party of 5 going, but other than that I couldn’t find fault. Lovely restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and attentive staff. We had the early bird tapas (three dishes for £18) and really enjoyed everything. Vegetarians and vegans have lots of options here too.

We popped into Tapas Tree on a Thursday evening after ringing ahead to make sure that they had the Buffalo Chickhen Wings that I love which they did. The prawns are always lovely and for what was a chilly evening warm plates were provided by the perfect service to compliment the food perfectly. The Chockolate Fudge Cake rounded things off nicely for what was a quiet Thursday evening. ☺️

Enjoyed a birthday meal with my daughters, the albondigas pork meat balls were the best I've had in this country. 12 tapas dishes were a perfect amount shared between 5 of us. Thank you Tapas Tree.

I've been coming to the Tapas Tree for over 10 years now and every visit has been EXCELLENT. Here today for my daughter's 10th birthday, we come every year as a birthday tradition and she loves it. Would recommend to anyone (and often do).

The food here was amazing, a little slow coming out of the kitchen, but very good quality and flavour. The service was good generally but I think the servers could have been a little more professional and attentive.

Este restaurante no está lejos del centro de Shipley, pero está un poco escondido. Sin embargo, nos alegramos de haber hecho el esfuerzo de encontrarlo. El personal es muy amable y tiene un interior agradable. La comida es sin duda la estrella del espectáculo, tuvimos una serie de platos de tapas y todos eran excelentes.

Nice restaurant but It did not make me feel like in Spain. It was more like an english restaurant serving spanish food. However, the food was served fast. But portions where very small and expensive. The paella did not taste fresh,It tasted like reheated rice. The meatballs were okay. The fried fish, the salad and olives were good.

La primera vez que he estado en este restaurante . . Mucha variedad en el menú... marca todas las cajas de tapas... enormes albóndigas... encantadoras rodajas de chorizo jugoso y gambas. ¡Mucho sabor!

El servicio estaba bien se vio a nuestra mesa y se le dieron menús y bebidas. Mi vino vino vino en una copa de ginebra, pero eso no fue un problema. Después de que pedimos la comida llegó, pero no nos dieron una opción del menú especial. La comida estaba bien. Pedimos un plato de compartir y era pequeño por casi £ 15

This place is so good that I'm contemplating returning with my family from Derbyshire! I was working away from home and called in with a few of my staff members to treat them to an evening meal, and I can't rate it highly enough. Staff, food and the Estrella Gluten Free beer!!! My whole meal was Gluten Free and it was amazing

¿Por dónde empiezo? ¿Las absurdamente micro porciones? ¿La falta de variedad en el menú? ¿La broma de un precio por lo que obtienes? No sé cómo este lugar ha promediado 4. 0 aquí, porque por el precio que pagamos este lugar era una broma. Todos los que revisan muy bien aquí deben tener estándares increíblemente bajos o pensar que Mcdonalds es un placer. Por 5 libras. 25 , el Hummus era como cartón. Finas, sin textura y una porción pequeña. En realidad había más salsa que pan. De hecho, todo era ultra miniatura (sí sé que esto es Tapas). Pedimos 3 platos principales, todos ellos terribles y diminutos en porciones. Fui por el Pollo con crema por £6. 85 . Debe haber habido en total una cucharada grande llena de pechuga de pollo, no es broma, servida en cubos diminutos del mismo tamaño que medio cubo de oxo. Esto fue recubierto en una mezcla acuosa de queso fundido y aceite. Mi amigo tomó el Chorizo con Gambas... 95 por 4 , contar em, 4 langostinos, de nuevo cubiertos de queso. El mosto del lote era el Pescaditos Fritos por £ 6. 25 , pececito blanchbait en pan rallado. Esta era en realidad una porción de tamaño normal, pero ni siquiera completamente recubierta de migas de pan, que en sí misma no sabía a nada. A diferencia del Hummus, este tenía el problema opuesto: una cucharada pequeña de salsa (míralo en comparación con el tamaño de la rodaja de limón) en proporción al pescado. £ 3 . 30 para una botella de coca de tamaño regular. Esto es probablemente bastante normal, aunque todavía me parece bastante premium. En general - pequeñas porciones que serían pequeñas para un niño de 8 años, enormemente sobreprecio por lo que obtiene, y la comida en sí estaba kilómetros por debajo del estándar de cualquier restaurante medio decente. I was extremely impressed by the new vegan menu - tasty and plenty of options. And I will have to be back for their amazing sangria, which I realised too late they do alcohol-free! Very helpful staff although they have a lack of understanding about diabetes and that a sip of sugary drink brought from home is classed as medication. A loud atmosphere that is good for a large party but not suitable for those with noise sensitivity.

Went for Sunday lunch with 5 plus a baby. Baby got his own Rice and meatballs while the adults had a great choice of tapas dishes. On the menu there is something for everyone. They took cheese off some dishes for cow's milk allergy etc. Service was excellent.

Oh this restaurant was such a shame. We're big foodies and eat out a lot, especially authentic tapas and this was really poor quality. The omelette was watery, the patas bravas was all wrong. The potatoes were boiled and still hard, not roasted, they made the wrong tomato sauce then melted cheddar on the top. The greek salad wasn't a greek salad. It has lettuce and no onion and topped with a dressing not with oregano and mixed herbs. The peri peri chicken wings weren't peri peri and the Spanish omelette genuinely tasted like a microwave meal. Also the menu does not have any vegetables, only garlic mushrooms or stuffed jalapenos. Nothing like pardon peppers or similar. If you know Spanish cuisine I really wouldn't recommend eating here. It was poor quality and bland. The staff were pleasant though and attentive. Just a shame about the food. I recommend bringing in an experienced chef and making the menu slightly smaller to focus on better dishes

Great little spot, tucked away just by the canal. The server was attentive, and the food came out quickly. The food was generally tasty, but the hummus lacked flavour and I probably wouldn't order next time. The camembert special tasted fantastic, albeit felt a tad pricey for just the 2 that came. Overall a great spot that I will be back again to.

A quiet Sunday evening but a fantastic find. Food was fantastic and great value. Wish it has been a busier night but meant the service was great and speed of food delivery was ideal.

Anyone who eats here and rates above 1 must be regulars at Toby Carvery and should be ignored. Horrible rude staff, shockingly bad food and very dirty, tired restaurant. Please, do not waste your money!!!

This place used to be so great - I even had my 18th birthday party here. Unfortunately it has gone downhill I tseems as on my recent visit the menu looked the same as it was 20 years ago and the food was just utterly bland and tasteless.

We visited with my elderly father as a Christmas treat. He had never had tapas before. The service was wonderful and the staff member went through the ordering process with us. The food was amazing!! We had a mix of main courses and small tapas plates and ordered it all to come out at once. It was the perfect place to share a meal with family. Brilliant value for money. Our favourites included prawns with chorizo, paella and halloumi fries. We will definitely return.

Unfortunately left feeling rather unsatisfied and £135 down. Went with my partner and two friends for a catch up meal and we’ve all decided we wouldn’t return for a further meal. The mushrooms were swimming in grease and my friend really didn’t like the prawns as the batter was greasy and the meatballs apparently tasted like microwave ones. The staff speak quite abruptly to you which seems unnecessary especially when you speak perfectly pleasantly to them and it was very loud and cold too. When we were leaving we got shouted by a lady staff member that we calculated our bill wrong and were £1.10 short. I had no change and attempted to pay card but was looked at with a look of disgust and had to send my partner outside to grab £2 from my friend to pay. No attempt was made to give the change owed back to us either, it was just put straight into the till. Would not return and I feel quite sad about it because we were looking forward to it after so many good reviews. What I will say is that the young girl waitress was very pleasant and friendly with us, it seems like the managers are the ones that are the issue.

Horrible end to the evening! The food is nice enough, just rather unremarkable. The real downside is the atmosphere and service. People I assume are managers being very abrupt to staff and shouting. This seems to also happen to customers too. Staff shouting out orders to customers really loudly right behind us. Then on leaving they told us that the bill had been calculated wrong and we owed around £2. We attempted to pay by card and this was looked on with disgust, so we had to ask friends to make the payment as we didn't have change. The waiting staff seemed lovely, real shame that everything else was a massive disappointment. Would not return as it was also very expensive.

This was a revisit for me. The food is amazing, good size portions and selections. You are given a menu to choose and tick your choices for ease. Service was so much better this time (last time wasn't asked if needed drinks or anything) this time polar opposite quick to clear and ask if need anything else. Only recommendation I would make would be for the servers to manage their own tables as at points we sort of felt over watched 😂

Went for lunch to celebrate a friends birthday. The service was great with a lovely friendly waitress. The food was really nice, large portions so only needed two tapas dishes each, spoilt ourselves with deserts which were again very generous portions. Atmosphere a bit lacking as we were the only people there but music was good and heating on so can’t complain just a shame not more people using this unique restaurant which has been in Shipley for many years.

Very disappointing been here loads of times but definitely has gone down hill. Food average but nothing special , atmosphere not great think created by the staff. Shame won’t be going back in a hurry.

The culinary highlight of Shipley by a huge margin. Not the cheapest takeout option available, but the food was astonishingly good. Objectively good tapas, not just in comparison to the alternatives nearby. Highly recommended!

Was looking forward to lunch here as have had good experiences previously and have eaten here a few times. Today was an exception to the good experiences we have had. We ordered our food, they have an early bird deal which is 3 dishes for £15, however some of the dishes are now not included. We ordered six dishes and an extra one as we like the king prawns in garlic (not included in deal). The food came in good time (the restaurant was empty) and the quality has gone down, the chicken in creamy sauce has little pieces in now, previously had big chunks. The breaded prawns and potato bravas (both fried) both tasted purely of fat (either the fat was not hot enough or old fat). We sent the breaded prawns back and the waitress said she would let the kitchen know. The bill arrived with the prawns on which we queried as we had not eaten these and the waitress said she would speak to the manager. She returned and said she could take them off but it may work out more expensive as the early bird deal was one. The savings on the early bird deal was about £4.20 so hardly deal of the century, the prawns were £6.80 so it would not have been more expensive but she was having difficulty understanding this. We did suggest just deducing a drink (about £3.50) but she could not do this as it was different pricing!! The customer service was something they need to look into as we will not be returning and do not recommend this is anyone else, there are much nicer tapas restaurants around now, it is a shame as this was a nice restaurant.

This has been my favourite restaurant for well over 15 years. We come here frequently. The food was always absolutely delicious. I just feel that this past year the restaurant has gone downhill significantly. I understand the increase in cost is a reflection of the increase in ingredients, everybody is feeling the cost of living. I was really disgruntled as a regular customer, to make my booking so that it included the free Childs meal, there were local roadworks which were causing a significant delay, the offer states, you have to place your order before 5:30 pm, and we were due to arrive at the restaurant at 5:35 pm. I phoned the restaurant at 5 pm to ask if I could place my order ahead of arrival, because I would need to get my three-year-old child to bed, and I also wanted to ensure that we got the free child meal. I was told no. They wouldn’t give me grace of being five minutes late to be able to allow me to get a free child meal. We cancelled the booking and went elsewhere. Customer service and loyalty is everything, we’ve put a lot of money behind this till in years gone by and we didn’t feel valued. The last couple of visits, staff have not been particularly helpful or welcoming, so we’ve decided that we won’t be returning. Unfortunately tasty food is only part of the dining experience.

Worst tapas I have ever had. Don’t be fooled by the descriptions on the menu..you will be served cheesy garlic bread, cardboard meatballs served in a dead out tomato sauce with no flavour. The one star was because they served san Miguel.

I really enjoyed this little place, cozy and clean with the best garlic prawns I've had in a while .

Food was amazing however we had to wait nearly an hour for any sign of food, no bread to nibble on, no checking if we needed anymore drinks or even if the food was OK. Really good size portions and absolutely delicious food! Will definitely try again and hope the service is improved.
