The quantity of the food is very poor compared to the price..they should increase their food amounts..otherwise the staff was very welcoming..but the price is not budget friendly..it’s too expensive..

We’ve visited several Turkish restaurants in Scotland. In Dunfermline, Glasgow, also of course in Edinburgh. However, here is the best one we’ve ever been into. Nice variety of tasteful food, beautiful atmosphere... The staff was nice too, of course Cyrill worths a note with his Turkish skills and joyful attitude.

The food here was excellent! The meat was perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. I highly recommend trying the mixed grill plate—it’s a fantastic choice with a great variety. Definitely worth it!

The waiters and waitresses were super nice!! Their positive vibes were spot on! Absolutely loved it! We ordered the lamb ribs and chicken wings combo. The portions were huge and incredibly cost-effective. We two girls spent less than £20 each and left totally full!

Visited the restaurant, and it was not very crowded at that time. The food when it finally came was great. I was told 10 minutes for the order, but it literally took 1 hour and 20 minutes. I was offered free bread and sauces, but I wasted literally more than 2 hours for food and paid for massive parking in the city centre as well. The waiter was great and cooperative, but the time delay was massive.

A great place with halal meat options and service. We ordered lamb stew and Adana kebab. The meals were very filling and delicious. Definitely a must visit place in Edinburgh.

Llegué un sábado por la noche sin reserva. Este era el tercer lugar en el que había estado en la zona tratando de entrar para un bocado rápido para comer. Amablemente me encontraron una oportunidad entre reservas y tuve una cena agradable mezze. El pan estaba delicioso con salsas para mojar (si te gusta un poco de una patada la de chile entregado! ). Las costillas de cordero estaban bien asadas. Podría haber usado un poco más de sal y pimienta, así como un poco de limón. Pero sigue disfrutando. El servicio era excepcional! Gracias al equipo por darme la bienvenida.

I visited it twice. The food is delicious, the service is great, and the prices are reasonable. I loved Iskender Doner Kebab, and then Adna Kebab is amazing.

Después de llegar a Edimburgo tarde reservamos aquí a última hora y el personal no podría haber sido más servicial. Hermosa comida, me sentí como si estuviéramos de vuelta en Türkiye. El personal era excepcional. Sin duda volveremos la próxima vez que visitemos Edimburgo 👌🏼

This place is delicious! We had Lamb meatballs, spinach and feta pastry, and cigar shaped pastry with spiced lamb minced, and the grilled meat platter for two. What is their secret? The meat was tender, perfectly seasoned! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and great. Please note you don't have an assigned waiter..it's a team of them checking up on whether you need something so if you are used to American style service you will need to flag whoever is walking around.

The food was very delicious. We tried the samosas, Ali Nazik, moussaka, and kebab, and frankly, they were all very good. We were served by Miss Mayada, a very nice, courteous and very welcoming person 💕 The only downside of the place is that the tables are very close together.

Platos principales encantadores, pero también me gusta la atención al detalle como ensaladas muy frescas, arroz y trigo búlgaro, etc. Tuvimos una cesta de pan caliente fresco con nuestra comida - casi nos llena! - y se ofrecen a reponer eso.

Frankly speaking, it is a beautiful and quiet Turkish restaurant, and their food tasted great. Our order was a very nice lentil soup, chicken shish tawook, and chicken kibbeh that came with rice, bulgur, and salad. The bill was nice with the prices.

İt's an absolute scam and steal money. We ordered large mixed grill for two people and it was big portion of rice and few meat !! They should of call it rice dish rather than mixed grill. İmagine you spend £45 for dish full.of rice and few meat !! İt will be definitely the last time I go there

We walked in this restaurant around 10:00 pm and were immediately seated. Menu selection was good and so was the service. Food arrived promptly and was delicious. We ordered lamb Musaka, apple tea, pomegranate tea, yoghurt drink and baklava. Even though hot sauce and yogurt condiments had excellent flavors.

When looking from the street, this place is easy to miss. Don't. It was really busy when we got here but the service was excellent and the food was really good. I thought the chicken was amazing but then I tasted the lamb and it was even better.

The whole experience of eating at Ada, Turkish restaurant. The experience starts at the entrance where the super friendly, smiling faces of the chefs working in the open kitchen, which emanates wonderful aroma of mouthwatering food, greet you warmly. A big surprise compared to most other restaurants in the friendly greetings from all the other waitresses, who say hello to you with a friendly smile! The waitress who showed us to the table was friendly and attentive throughout the dinner. Starters - we opted for Humas Mezes starter, which came with a selection of dips and delicious warm Turkish flat bread, which was topped up throughout the meal, at no extra cost! Still water was also served at no cost! Mains - we ordered the shared mixed grill platter of flavoursome, tender lamb and chicken. It came with 2 different types of deliciously fragrant Pilav rice and Mediterranean salad. The portions are generous and you’re positively encouraged to take away whatever you’re unable to eat! We were too full to order a sweet. On the way out we admired the sweets and enquired about Turkish rice pudding, which we had previous eaten in London. Again, we were surprised when the friendly chef offer us a rice pudding to try! Ada should be voted the most friendliest restaurant in UK! The food was delicious and the experience was wonderful due to the friendly, efficient service from the waitresses. Sadly we were unable to add a tip, which was deserved, to the credit card! We will return to Ada very soon to try other wonderful dishes in their menu!

Adana kebab is very bad, dry and has a lot of garlic in it, it is not real Adana kebab at all. Doner is not bad but the price is high but the portion is very small. They want to feed people with rice. The air conditioning does not work inside, it is so hot that we had difficulty eating.

Visited ADA in Antigua St have some food before a proper festival night out and was served by Kiril from. Hope I spelt the name correctly. What a place, the food was amazing, so tasty, perfectly cooked, full of subtle flavours and my son, my friend and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were totally top notch and the service was on point, none more so than from Kiril. My only point of comment is that I was unable to leave a tip because when I went to pay tips were not permitted when paying by card which is a real shame as few people carry cash these days and I did not have any with me. This made me feel bad as I could not reward the wonderful service we received from Kiril and his colleagues. I’ll be back and will try to make sure I have cash next time but I’d like to ask the owners to change this policy and help reward their amazing staff for the great work they do as it’s hard to make living in the hospitality trade and these guys deserve the opportunity to be reward by those they look after.

Everything is special, excellent and fast service, excellent quality of food and excellent quantity per plate for 6 people, 5 main dishes, but only 123 pounds.

One of the beat Turkish restaurants in the area, we had medium mix grilled dish and shish chicken, it was served with salad and fries or rice, and we also had Hommos which was good, they also had spicy red sauce which I like, the dish size was more than enough for 2 persons, we didn't have space to try the sweets, at the end we had nice chatting with Mr.Kiril, he gave us 2 glass of tea which was the best tea we had in Scotland. Thank you Kiril and we will come again One of the best Turkish restaurants in the area. We had a medium-sized mixed grill, a shish tawook and hummus plate. The food in general was delicious, the kebab was a little heavy meat, and since the amount of food was more than enough, we were not able to try their dessert, Umm Ali and Kunafa. The employee, Kirl, was very polite and treated our guest to the tea

My third visit to Ada was just as good as the first two. Our party of three ordered the large mixed grill which comes with rice, salad, dips and bread, and we supplemented this with a falafel mezze and a grilled vegetable mezze (can’t quite remember the name of the dish). Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection and it was the ideal amount of food. We finished with a kunefe dessert to split and the bill was a reasonable £24 each. The only thing better than the food was the service. Several members of staff checked in on us, asked if we needed anything and brought us extra plates/spoons/water with a smile. Everyone was so genuinely kind and warm, and we were bid farewell by half the team including the kitchen. We’ll be back!

We chose this on our Edinburgh trip, but when we told them we waited for our order for 1 hour, they objected to us. Our check-in and check-out times were recorded both on our phone and on the parking ticket of the car we parked right next to the restaurant. The food is average compared to Turkish restaurants on the British island.

Great Turkish restaurant. Chicken guvech delicious, lamb shank tender, bread was supremely good. Everything fabulous. Many Turkish diners. Really good experience. Waiting staff very friendly.

First of all, the food was not delicious compared to kebabs in Turkey. In terms of cleanliness, the tables and glasses were clean, but the toilets were dirty. The environment was very noisy and the tables were so close to each other that it was difficult to get in and out.

Very impressed! Phenomenal selection and execptional service. I recommend going with a larger group and trying out various things. Will come back again!! We came as a large group booking (>20) and they accomodated us well. The place is quite large but can feel a little clamped. You pass by some grills and salad bars on the way with a variety of food items on display and a few friendly chefs at work. They have an interesting and wide selection of foods, all of generous portions (especially the mains!). We had falafel starters which were great but just a little dry. They also gave free bread with onions and 2 dipping sauces, lovely. Their grill section isnt necessarily just baked goods, as my friend got the Chicken Iskandar which was a creamy stew with an incredibly smokey flavor. The bread is hidden under the chicken and soaked with the sauce, some may think its soggy however. I highly recommend! I got the Tavuk Guvec which (on recommendation from the waiter) was a large portion. Great for those who like peppers and tomato stews. So stuffed by the end! Other friends got similar items (lamb and chicken) and were pleased. We did not try the seafood here and hot mezes, but I will come back for this. Each dish comes with a well seasoned rice and some salad, which is OK. They also have a decent vegetarian selection. Staff were attentive and often asking if we needed anything without being intrusive. Only 2 friends got the dessert (Baklava) which were alright, and the Turkish Coffee which they enjoyed. Only complaint is that the place is ever so slightly drab. I dont really mind.

Food was delicious!! All the meats were cooked wonderfully and were super flavorful. Went as a party of 6 and ordered the sampler plates—I highly recommend them if you are feeling overwhelmed by the many options they have. The portions are VERY generous so keep that in mind when ordering, I recommend ordering 60% of what you think you would eat. I recommend reserving ahead too, there was a ~30 minute wait for our group at 8:30pm.

The food at this restuarant was first class, as was the service. The waitress, Mishel, was highly professional and knowledgeable, and helped me choose the right dishes for my taste. My Wife and I highly recommend!!!
