Booked online, received confirmation email and text , got there and closed ! Rang them and emailed with no response ! Disgraceful

Excellent food, tapas was amazing all dishes delicious, all food nice and hot. Staff are lovely can't do enough for you. Definitely go again and will recommend to friends.

Came last Thursday with my husband, was such an amazing night, amazing staff, food and atmosphere. Would 100% go again. 10/10.

Booked a table, and was told very aggressively that the table was not confirmed. Loved the first time I went....would never go there again....ever. She came across very, very intimidating.

The place stunk like mouldy rotten garlic fish and it took your breath away. The food was barely edible and overpriced. ….

To be totally honest we hadn’t booked so were happy to wait the 30 mins stated. However an hour in we were still waiting to order. The ethos seems to be based on youngsters serving which gives an ambience of no room for complaint. However there is more than enough room for complaint. The restaurant seemed full of incoherent people intent only on drinking. A huge disappointment to us as the last time we visited was on the opening night and such a different experience.

My visit to the restaurant Mint last week was less than enjoyable. Leah, the young waitress, was not only rude but also seemed to be actively bossing other staff members in an unpleasant manner. Felt like she was slamming the drinks down as she was in a bad mood. This made the party feel uncomfortable throughout our meal. The service lacked warmth and smiles, and the food, particularly the chicken skewers, was disappointingly overcooked and tough. A regrettable dining experience overall. Probably wouldn't return due to this experience.

Had a delightful dining experience at this restaurant. Our servers, Kat, vicky, and Namida, were excellent, providing attentive and friendly service. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by a rude encounter with the supervisor, who not only exhibited poor manners but also got my order wrong. Despite this, the overall ambiance and the efforts of the servers made the meal enjoyable.

First time for me. Staff are great, very young but great. Food was lovely, enjoyed all three dishes. Thanks chef. I asked for a cocktail and the young girl made it then asked me if she had made it right, nice touch, it was good. Maybe train the staff on cocktails/drinks but will come back. Thanks.

Love love love it here! Been more times than I can remember! Only issue is that it's a bit pricey but other than that, the food and service is always wonderful and a pleasure to go to♥️

Had a delicious meal at Mint last night with my partner. We chose from the Tapas menu, the favours were divine, portions perfect and service couldn’t be faltered. Will definitely be returning.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, food was great, spicy for my taste but lovely.

The restaurant was in full festive mode… The friendly staff were efficient and attentive… The food was fantastic… We had the Tapas - swordfish skewers, mushroom risotto, lamb tagine, beef meats, patatas bravas and sirloin steak… The red rioja was the perfect accompaniment 😋

Been here 5 or 6 times now, food always great along with very friendly staff. It's great to see the restaurant giving young people jobs as servers, giving them confidence and life experience.

Really enjoyed the tapas and sangria here. The prices are reasonable and the service was great, really friendly and welcoming. The special (taco) was my least favourite dish but everything else was spot on. Good portion sizes, 2 to 3 per person is more than enough:

Went for the 1st time the tapas was lovely the young waiter was good we also ordered a steak but took 45 mins I asked were it was and who I thort was the manager said its coming out it never then my partner said we don't want it it's too late the manager said your having it and paying for it she was rude and had no customer service she then thort it was OK to say leave without paying we said we will pay for what we have had in the meantime I asked for the dessert menu was waiting for that. It's a shame has it was lovely food but the manager terrible

Went with friends who have been before, went for tapas, really good choice and very well executed, staff very friendly and a really nice atmosphere. Will definitely return soon

We went as a party of 7 last night, it was really busy but the staff were amazing and the food was exceptional, definitely the best food I’ve had in Ormskirk. Thanks to the owners for fitting us in at short notice. Definitely recommend 👍

Was looking to treat my friend after completing his ultra marathon run and ended up going here. What a lovely atmosphere. Excellent customer service. Clean and the staff Couldn't do enough for us! the food was amazing also! After what my friend achieved it was important to take him somewhere nice and this was the perfect place. Thankyou ! 5 stars

Food was gorgeous, best tapas I've ever had in this country. So authentic, meatballs delicious full of flavour, huge prawns so tasty. Lovely decor, felt like I was on holiday. Booked in for next week already with friends.

Lovely interior and feel inside, the staff were lovely and happy to help with any request - nothing was too much to ask. However, I did pickup on a slight animosity from the manager towards the lovely staff, which did make me feel a little bit uneasy. Shame really, as otherwise I would return. I refuse to support somewhere that does not treat their employees with respect.

I’ve just been to MINT in Ormskirk - opposite the Buck i’th Vine. There was 15 of us who had about 3 tapas each. Food was really good. Fresh , hot when it needed to be. I don’t think anybody from our party was disappointed. Wine was good value , beers were cold and delivered promptly. We pre-ordered because there was so many of us. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. 💯 percent recommended. Me n me Julie will be back soon. Great atmosphere . Very intimate if it’s just a date night for two. Give it a go. Why the hell not.

Superb tapas went today for lunch 2 for £10 amazing tasty fresh food best tapas in ages Restaurant makes you feel like you are abroad with superb service polite yet not intrusive, Definitely recommend, will go next time in Ormskirk Try it you won't be disappointed

Lovely food and reasonably priced the only negative was the extremely rude waitress who hadn't even served our table pick up the tip that we had left as she walked past,we were still finishing our drinks and she didn't even acknowledge us, I'm still annoyed with myself that I didn't challenge her 😤

Delicious food and friendly service. On our table we had swordfish, lamb tagine and zarzuela all of which we would recommend.

Out walking with dog and stopped outside, had several portions of tapas and couldn't find a single fault absolutely delicious. Very friendly and great customer service, provided water for the dog will definitely be back with friends.

Service wasnt good. Drinks order forgotten and had to ask for it several times. "no alcohol". Also the same for the bill. Seemed alot going on for the "young waiting staff" too remember. Food was really good though.

Lovely place never been before but definitely coming back. Lovely atmosphere but food and host absolutely lovely. Just had tapas but so filling.

Absolutely gorgeous food and beautiful atmosphere. Tapas was amazing 🤩 Our boys had homemade chicken nuggets and proper homemade chips, they wiped their plates clean! Can’t wait to come back and taste more delicious meals! Definitely recommend 👌🏼🤩

Having been a regular at il padrino i thought i'd give it a go. The refurb is excellent, fresh, clean and the reception was more than welcoming ( especially Sharon ). The food really was exceptional, incredibly flavoursome and kept me eating, even though i was full! I decided to go for the 3 tapas option on the menu. I think they are possibly the best gambas pil pil i have had the pleasure of eating. The patatas bravas were really up there with the nicest i have eaten and as for the lamb tegine, well, it needs tasting to believe just how good it is. I have already booked to go back as i cannot wait to go through the rest of the menu, i noticed a fish paella dish going to another table and thought Wow, i should of ordered that! I think Mint could become a real jewel in the crown of Ormskirk. Fabulous, keep up the good work!
