Purely Pizza in West Lancashire

Love the calm friendly welcome. They let my little doggy enjoy our stay, and even gave her treats. The food is lovely and the prices fair. I will be back.

It was my first time as a patron here and I wasn't disappointed. The chicken wings were FULL wings, unlike most establishments that cut them in two. So you get x number of full wings so that was awesome. The coating/marinade was scrumptious. I chose The Brooklyn Bee pizza and it was amazing. Adding the honey on the topping is genius, and really compliments the fiery chillies and spicy pepperoni. I've added a photo of the wings I couldn't fit in after eating the pizza 🤣 I'll be back!

Was recommended this restaurant and boy we were not disappointed! Amazing pizza and pasta not to be missed. Loved the specials board and nice simple menu of quality food. Great offer on three pizza or pasta for £30. Would book again with no hesitation

What a great little place we turned up last night without a reservation after walking out of a restaurant in ormskirk! The head waiter was amazing he made us so welcome nothing was too much trouble for all of the staff, the food was great and reasonably priced! Thank you for turning our evening around for us 😌

Best pizza ever? Now that’s a very tough ask. But honestly these guys rock, and they chuck out some amazingly awesome food. Yes, the menu flavours can seem a little different to your average restaurant, but believe me try something different and surprise yourself. I always try something new as and am never disappointed as these guys know what works and make some awesome dishes. Only photo I remember to take was my boy with his lemonade named after his friend, sorry my pizza didn’t last long enough for a photo as it was the best pizza ever !

Great pizzas, tasty pasta and high quality service all round. Me and my husband came tonight for the first time and they made a small mistake with a drink that they corrected immediately but also took it off the bill. Wasn’t expecting that at all but things like this will keep customers coming back, which we certainly shall be doing for more purely pizza greatness.

Some of the tastiest pizzas we've ever had. First discovered this packed little spot on a Monday....and went for a drink across the road whilst we waited for a table. A return visit on a Tuesday featured a "3 for 2" offer making it equally busy...we tried 3 smaller pizza which wasn't the best deal but plenty for us. Needed room for ice cream from across the road! Last visit with friends to celebrate escaping the canal breach did not disappoint. I had no idea pigs cheek or honey was so delicious on pizza.

Great local restaurant! We have been here afew times and to their pop-up in the Ormskirk food markets. The staff are very friendly and the food is excellent.

Great pizza but terrible customer service and communications around expected delays when collecting in person. Ordered online for 8. Arrived 8.45. A complimentary drink would have been welcome, given the long delay left waiting (‘ready in 5 minutes, next in the oven, ok ready now’ eventually went in the oven 20 minutes later). No apologies. I would have bought a drink if they had been honest about the expected wait time on arrival. Come on guys you can do better than this!

Really lovely here, been before and the food is wonderful. Had a grapefruit negroni too which was amazing! Adore the aranchini too. Isn't the cheapest but pizzas are around £11-15 so doesn't have to be expensive if you don't get loads of sides. Plenty of veggie options

Made a telephone order for delivery. They couldn't deliver because they were very busy so i said we'd pick up. They wetent busy. Only two tables in use. My pizza was being cooked. When I was paying, the delivery man was packing one pizza up and as I got into my own car he was setting off on a delivery. With ONE pizza. When home my pizza which was meant to have pork on it had BACON. no it's not the same thing. I picked a piece up and it was mainly fat. As were all the other pieces. What was going on Purely. I've been here before and the pizzas were good although very expensive. This was meant to be a treat. Never going there again.

Don't order via the online ordering system,last Friday(7th)I ordered 2pizzas to be collected at 18-15,when I got there the staff member very rudely informed me I'd ordered for 18-45,which I hadn't,they did make the pizza whilst I had to walk around Butscough,could at least have offered me a complimentary drink,when I returned the ticket said ordered for 18-15, accepted for 18-45,no use to me!!! Not even an apology!!! Not good!!

Great pizza friendly service very impressed

Food is lovely but it was absolutely boiling in there so we couldn’t wait to leave. The music is also not what you would expect of a family eatery on a Sunday afternoon. Felt like we were in a club, especially as it was so loud. Had to shout to speak to family. Won’t be returning, which is a shame as a few tweaks with atmosphere and it could be really nice.

Purely pizza is a nice venue to have in Burscough. A traditional Italian menu with pizzas and pastas, the actual food was quite nice. We had pizzas, gnocchi, ravioli and carbonara. Everything was tasty, although the carbonara was possibly on the bland side. The pizza dough was delightful and the garlic bread and truffle fries very pleasant. We also had pesto and mozzarella arancini which were delicious. I would mention that it would have been nice to be offered additional parmesan grated on my carbonara, for example and that the bacon had actually been cooked with the pasta, and not laid on top. The coffee was flavourful and we avoided the desserts because of their price. More expensive than in London! The venue was nice and modern although it does get a bit noisy when full. The staff was young but professional and friendly. Do book in advance for a Saturday night outing!

Me an my Partner had a 12' Pizza each. And Secret Wings that were yet to make the menu. Everything was Gorgeous and Very Tasty! Will definatly be back! Don't hesitate to try!!

Great freshly cooked really tasty food. This is not your normal Italian fare, and is highly recommended. Staff were friendly helpful and attentive. Give it a go, you will be very pleasantly surprised.

My partner and I come in here on the regular. We absolutely love it. Both huge fans of GREAT pizza, chorizo, and Padron peppers - we need look no further. The team who look after us are also wonderful - forgive us, as we do know their names but as always, I have forgotten. You are all ace and make our experience just that bit better. If you want a nice evening filled with a good canned beer selection and FABULOUS pizza - come to purely pizza. Thanks for being awesome!

The food was brilliant- my partner is Italian and said this was the best pizza he'd ever had in the UK. The mushroom ravioli is also delicious. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the playlist was full of classic gems. We'll definitely be back!

Delicious authentic Italian pizza! I enjoyed both dining in and having a takeaway (the app works great, let you view what pizza would look like and the delivery was in a timely manner). Tiramisu is excellent too and done in authentic way for a restaurant (not overly sweet, mascarpone cream is very good, many other ‘Italian’ restaurants can’t get it right and some taste like margarine or lots of cream). Extra dips to pizza are spot on too. Will definitely be ordering more often since trying delivery service.

If I could leave a minus 5 stars I would. Terrible service. We arrived at 7.25 pm for our table booked for 7.30. We were shown to our table, from there it went downhill. We were really looking forward to a great meal. Sat for 20 minutes before anyone came to take our drinks order, we also ordered our food. Waited for 15 minutes and our drinks hadn’t arrived. People who came in later than us received their drinks before us. After waiting for 35 minutes we walked out and went to the Blue Mallard, where we had a fantastic meal. Will never go again, awful.

Purely delicious. We loved the atmosphere of the place and the decor was great. The staff were friendly and everything was clean, including the bathrooms. I had a Pizza and my friend Adam had a pasta dish. The pizza was great, true Neapolitan style. I got a Margarita and you could really taste the quality of ingredients. Adam also enjoyed his Chorizo pasta, it looked so good I will definitely order it next time. Highly recommend you give this place a visit!

Good for takeaway food as the pizza is always nice but when it's busy, it's incredibly busy and the atmosphere was very crowded.

Wow, the pizza at Purely pizza are amazing made in true Napoletano style. I had the caprese which is the best pizza I have had in the UK as well as being being up there with the very best in Italy. Staff are friendly & very informative with the establishment being very clean & stylish. A must try if you love your pizza

Lovely place with friendly staff. The pizza's are absolutely delicious and ready so quickly. The dough is light and fluffy so I didn't feel bloated afterwards. Will definitely return to try other dishes. Superb service thank you so much ❤️
