Today we came to try the new Romanian soup, which I highly recommend! varied menu, 10+staff !

The food and the service here has been excellent. Thank you to the lady shevia who was so considerate and kind to me and my mom today.

What a lovely evening! Thank you to all that work at Aysu. Professional, attentive and friendly service from staff. The jumbo platter was extremely tasty, flavours were 10/10. Also not forgetting the beautifully presented drinks that not only looked gorgeous but also tasted divine. Can't wait to come back soon!!!

Very good portions! Even with lentil soup they will give you fresh bread and pickles selwction which is very traditional. Delicious food. Be aware that turkish pop music is playing which could get tedious of it's not your thing.

Amazing tasty Turkish food. The sharing platter for 2-3 people was cooked to perfection and the chilli sauce was actually spicy which was a good. The salads and breads were so fresh and added to our overall meal. The interior was lovely and the staff were friendly and charming. I will definitely be going back very soon - will be considered a favourite.

The food is top! And the salad that came with it, best ever (and I am not a salad fan!): had some cranberry dressing or something, that just made it absolutely wow.

I don't what restaurant Turkish? Basmati rice with kebab and tea was very old bitter service was bad air condition on over our head I repeat 3 times ask her I'm cold the meat part off it fresh part off it old. Meyhane pilaf was old not fresh bread was old they know Mother's Day and Eid. They should be prepared for it I fell sick 😷 and wc durty smell 👃 vivi we paid about £120 even they don't offer any Turkish tea we go local Turkish restaurant they offer. Turkish delight or tea free, I have never seen such a bad place, toilet, dirty food, I did not understand whether it was Turkish cuisine, Iranian cuisine or Pakistani cuisine. I went there to go to Turkish cuisine. But if I had known, I would have gone to Southall. At least she knows what she eats there. It makes me sick to my stomach. What kind of food was that? 0 zero points. Lamb chops, one of them was like donkey meat. There were 3 types of chops. All of them had different tastes. I chewed them for an hour. What was that? We paid nearly £120 pounds. They didn't even offer a Turkish delight. The toilets smell like piss. If I complain to the municipality, they will close it down.

Ordered Eskander kebab which was lovely via Just eat. The cost started out at around £9.50 now it’s £15 but I do not understand why there is a service charge added when no waiter service was provided?? This was a take away! No eat in service was provide!

We recently visited this restaurant and were impressed by how well everything was organized. They brought us large portions of delicious meat and potatoes, the waiter was attentive, overall - our lunch here was simply excellent!

By far one of the best Turkish restaurants in the local area for quality of food and cost. Cannot beat a chefs special mixed grill easily fill 2 -3 people. Salad always fresh!!

Reserved a table at 5 pm, after one hour of waiting we get some average food, tasteless. When we get to order desert at 7 pm, with the hope that might turn the evening around, we are told to order something quick as there is another reservation in 20 min.

I've just gone here, and I genuinely can't tell you how great the experience was! Especially Shiva, who was very polite and kind.She even knew other languages. The Asyu special was very tasty, especially the chicken wings. In conclusion, the service Shiva gave was very subtle.

Shiva was excellent in serving us today. She was polite, very attentive, made us feel super comfortable and was just great in general. She definitely deserves a pay rise given the hard work she puts in.

When I called the restaurant they said the food was collected 20 mins after ordering which would have been 18:30. The food was delivered just before 20:00. When I asked the just eat driver he said the restaurant made him wait 30 mins for the food. I cannot trust the restaurant nor the driver and I have spent over £50 on food. How is this acceptable service? I am extremely unhappy and have to warm up all of the food I ordered.

She infact packed our left over food for take away. We loved the smoky flavors of the mixed grill platter and the freshness of the mezze dishes, especially the fresh salad.The portions were generous. Only change they should make in white rice. They use normal basmati rice not Turkish rice. A bit pricey, but worth it for the experience. Highly recommend for anyone craving genuine Turkish flavors!”

First time visiting for lunch with my sister. Wonderful customer service from Shiva. Fantastic delicious food delivered hot and quickly. Lovely ambience and relaxing atmosphere. Beautiful decor and Christmas decorations. Definitely recommend and will come back soon in the future.

Aysu on Charlton Road is a real gem, and it definitely deserves more recognition! I visited recently, and everything from the food to the service was top-notch. As a vegetarian, it can sometimes be tricky to find great options, but Aysu did not disappoint. We started with the Feta Cheese Borek, and it was heavenly. The pastry was golden and crispy, while the feta inside was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced between salty and savory. A great way to kick off the meal! For mains, we went with the Chip Wrap and the Halloumi Wrap, and both were incredible. The Chip Wrap was just pure comfort food—crispy chips wrapped in soft flatbread, seasoned just right. It’s a must-try for anyone who loves hearty flavors. The Halloumi Wrap was equally delicious—grilled halloumi with that perfect balance of crunchy and chewy, all wrapped up with fresh ingredients. Even the chips on the side were fantastic—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and seasoned to perfection. It’s the little details like this that really made the meal stand out. Aysu has been recommended by many people before & it didn’t disappoint. Served by Mohammed, the food came out in a timely manner both tasty & fresh. We opted for Halloumi & Calamari for starters, which I’d certainly recommend. Then for our mains, my boys had mixed shish, lamb adana and I had the mixed doner. All the meats were nicely seasoned, very tasty & the portions were more than generous. My wife opted for the falafel which she said was tasty very tasty & not dry, like some other places. The humus was nice & fresh, eaten with there lovely warm Turkish breads. All of which was made to taste even better with their own chilli sauce, garlic sauce & tzatziki. All in all, would go back & recommend for sure.
