I've just gone here, and I genuinely can't tell you how great the experience was! Especially Shiva, who was very polite and kind.She even knew other languages. The Asyu special was very tasty, especially the chicken wings. In conclusion, the service Shiva gave was very subtle.

Shiva was excellent in serving us today. She was polite, very attentive, made us feel super comfortable and was just great in general. She definitely deserves a pay rise given the hard work she puts in.

Lamb shank is amazing. Dish sizes are so large.

When I called the restaurant they said the food was collected 20 mins after ordering which would have been 18:30. The food was delivered just before 20:00. When I asked the just eat driver he said the restaurant made him wait 30 mins for the food. I cannot trust the restaurant nor the driver and I have spent over £50 on food. How is this acceptable service? I am extremely unhappy and have to warm up all of the food I ordered.

The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, guiding us through their diverse menu. Staff an Indian girl Shruti has served us exceptionally well from beginning to end. She infact packed our left over food for take away. We loved the smoky flavors of the mixed grill platter and the freshness of the mezze dishes, especially the fresh salad.The portions were generous. Only change they should make in white rice. They use normal basmati rice not Turkish rice. A bit pricey, but worth it for the experience. Highly recommend for anyone craving genuine Turkish flavors!”

First time visiting for lunch with my sister. Wonderful customer service from Shiva. Fantastic delicious food delivered hot and quickly. Lovely ambience and relaxing atmosphere. Beautiful decor and Christmas decorations. Definitely recommend and will come back soon in the future.

Aysu on Charlton Road is a real gem, and it definitely deserves more recognition! I visited recently, and everything from the food to the service was top-notch. As a vegetarian, it can sometimes be tricky to find great options, but Aysu did not disappoint. We started with the Feta Cheese Borek, and it was heavenly. The pastry was golden and crispy, while the feta inside was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced between salty and savory. A great way to kick off the meal! For mains, we went with the Chip Wrap and the Halloumi Wrap, and both were incredible. The Chip Wrap was just pure comfort food—crispy chips wrapped in soft flatbread, seasoned just right. It’s a must-try for anyone who loves hearty flavors. The Halloumi Wrap was equally delicious—grilled halloumi with that perfect balance of crunchy and chewy, all wrapped up with fresh ingredients. Even the chips on the side were fantastic—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and seasoned to perfection. It’s the little details like this that really made the meal stand out. Aside from the food, the service was exceptional. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and attentive throughout our meal, making sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. Aysu has been recommended by many people before & it didn’t disappoint. Served by Mohammed, the food came out in a timely manner both tasty & fresh. We opted for Halloumi & Calamari for starters, which I’d certainly recommend. Then for our mains, my boys had mixed shish, lamb adana and I had the mixed doner. All the meats were nicely seasoned, very tasty & the portions were more than generous. My wife opted for the falafel which she said was tasty very tasty & not dry, like some other places. The humus was nice & fresh, eaten with there lovely warm Turkish breads. All of which was made to taste even better with their own chilli sauce, garlic sauce & tzatziki. All in all, would go back & recommend for sure.

Nice service from Mohammad - well taken care in terms of order and timely attention at all times whilst we’re at the restaurant - Aysu. Great food as we tried chicken tender, mix sheesh, falafel, Turkish tea. The salad and breads were complimentary and quite filling.

We visited this restaurant on friday and we were so happy with the food and service. The waiter Mohammed was especially so welcoming and made my 91 year old dads visit so memorable. Highly recommend.

The food was really fresh and delicious; and the portions were generous. We had guests visiting from Singapore who we wanted to take out for a nice meal, so we choose Aysu as the food is always good. Our guests were really impressed by the quality of the food and enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant. Our server, Mohammed B. took good care of us throughout the evening :) - thank you. Highly recommend this restaurant and we will be returning for sure.

Not the same price as you see the menu, the menu you see in shop is like %20 higher than the one they put online. Also they take only cash not card facilities so they can hide their income.
