The best restaurants serving Lebanese food in England

Fabulous service, tasty well cooked food, very reasonable prices would highly recommend. Will certainly be returning.

We happened upon this restaurant by chance after visiting the museum and hoped that wencould get falafel, which were were craving. We were so glad we chose this restaurant, as the falafel was so delicious we placed another order to take home! We also had the vegetarian mousakka plate, which had superb flavours, and was a generous portion of food. We love it when we find a great falafel restaurant and Beirut Garden delivered. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was cozy, and the baklava was terrific. We loved our meal at this great little gem.

I do not usually leave negative reviews however I feel I need to warn parents of babies/toddlers about the access issues and the lack of baby changing facility. This restaurant isn't baby friendly at all. So, unfortunately, I won't be returning. My family and I visited Remals between christmas and New Year. There were 9 of us in total. When I rang to make the reservation, I asked for a table to accommodate a pram and highchair for our 9 month old son. I was told the pram may need to be folded up as there wouldn't be enough room near the table, which is fair enough. So we chose to bring my son in his car seat instead and bring the pram frame. I folded the pram frame to be taken upstairs, I carried this up the narrow staircase mysf. Not one of the male waiters offered to help me. My husband and I went into the disabled toilet, which also had a baby changing sign on the door, to find that there wasn't a baby changing table! What on earth. I couldn't quite believe it. I came out of the toilet, in disbelief, and asked the manager where the changing table is. He apologised and said they did not have one. I asked why, to which he just apologised again. I was appalled and upset. The toilet was very spacious, definitely enough room for a standing changing table or a wall mounted. I just got the impression that they didn't care. It's a shame because the food was tasty and the young man who served us was lovely.

The food was packed with flavour. It was a perfect spot for a quick casual bite. I could see people ordering take out and waiting outside, delivering people doing pick up and of course seated service. The seated space may be slightly cramped but the quality of your meal will be worth it. We both had a shawarma wrap and chips. Came with a dip of half garlic sauce and half curry sauce for the fries or extra on the wrap I suppose. It looks small at first but it was plenty and I left full. I saw people ordering mains which looked like larger combo plates and they were huge. Our food came quick, staff was super attentive and friendly. Give them a try.

We come here often and have never been disappointed...! Very tasty food! Very...! We took minced lamb "Kafta", lamb chops and we were impressed...! I definitely recommend it to Lebanese food lovers. This is well evidenced by the fact that it is always full of visitors and sometimes you even have to wait for a table to become available...

Totally surprised at how good this place is. Three of us popped in for house tea with fresh mint and a sharing platter that we couldn't quite finish. Probably the best restaurant in Newbury for vegans. If you don't like falafel try theirs and be converted, they set a whole new benchmark , as does their hummus & moussaka. Very reasonable prices. Staff are great Will be going back very soon.

Great tasting food at a reasonable price. The mixed grill is quite filling, the meat is well done and seasoned and the sauces that come with it are both great as well.

I came here last Sunday with my family for a celebratory meal, and we had a great time. Omar served us very well, always accommodating, attentive but not too attentive, and speedy service with food. The only downside is we now have to find the time to return and try everything else on the menu!

Thank you Hadil and thanks to the chefs and the delivery guy too Just reordered the same food it’s just SO GOOD and Hadil is just so helpful and extremely professional too This is the best food I have had in years and I am definitely going to be getting this again; can’t think of anything nicer than sitting watching a movie, cuddling under a duvet eating this amazing food! Trying to put up another review about this amazing restaurant having a lot of trouble so I’m editing the original one;; Hadil the manageress is totally awesome,, I’m Laying here on my sick bed really hungry and she managed to help me get my order together: timing it with the taxi that I had ordered to pick it up,, Unbelievable customer service I can’t fault this restaurant one bit excellent food as always,, Thank you Hadil and the rest of your staff for all your hard work you put into making sure all your customers are satisfied,,

Amazing service and the food was great! The juice is really nice but the Lavender tea was a bit overpowering. Overall I have no complaints!

Lovely place, gentleman who served us was very polite, very friendly. Food was amazing and we didn't had to wait long. Will definitely come back when next time in Sheffield and can highly recommend.

We had a great dinner (grill plate) here in a very nice, clean restaurant. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Actually there was nothing to complain about. Nevertheless, I only give 4 stars because an additional service charge was shown on the invoice. That doesn't work for me at all. Then it's better that the food is a little more expensive, but then at least you know where you stand.

We arrived at yara this evening ordering a range of drinks including cocktails. 10 minutes passed after everyone else's drinks arrived on the table we was assured our cocktails wouldn't be much longer as the bar staff were busy with other tables drinks. Another 15 minutes passed and the tables starters had arrived, still no drinks. 10 minutes after we had eaten our starter with no drink we still hadn't recieved our cocktails and when we questioned the young waitress where our drinks was we was told they wouldn't be long in a rude way. We waited a further 10 minutes until the staff started setting the table for our mains before canceling the 4 cocktails and asking for a soft drink instead, to be greeted with an underlying off attitude and dirty looks from the staff each time they passed us for the duration of our meal. (especially from the waitress who told us she was underage yet proceeded to suggested which cocktails she found the nicest tasting at the start of our meal.) Before the manager approaching us in a defensive way and causing a scene. I would give the food here 5 stars but the service 0 if possible. Considering this meal was to bring the family together to mark 1 year since our grandfathers passing it was ruined with rude staff, We won't be returning sadly.
