Stopped by as I was walking back to my hotel, as the food smelled delicious. I got the halloumi starter, and falafel wrap. Both were very tasty and big- I had to take half back with me to my hotel room. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and they even gave me a free desert bite at the end of my meal (a delicious phyllo dough pastry that was sweet, and reminded me of baklava). Also the prices seemed very reasonable, especially compared to some other Lebanese places on the same street. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time with our two children, aged 13 and 18. We were comfortable, the food was delicious and plentiful, and the entire staff was very friendly. They even gave us some cookies as a gift. We highly recommend it.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Lebanese food experience here. Mohammed and Fatima were super nice, respectful and responsive. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone seeking to have the authentic Lebanese cuisine experience.

How this place gets so many good reviews is beyond me. The portions are ridiculous. I’m a woman and did not have enough food. I had to order food somewhere else afterwards. You get about 10 fries and the sandwich was finished in 5 bites. Sandwich only contains meat that was overcooked. Not a single vegetable!! Just a big scam!!

Great food, and very friendly staff! There are plates to share where you can try a variety of different things if you can’t decide. All have so much flavor and are extremely fresh. Hamid was very helpful.

Had a late dinner here, didn’t want to eat that much in a late time and really just want to eat donner, so ordered chicken and lamp shawarma. Love the chicken one, so good!! And Fatima is really friendly and kind. Would definitely come back again!

Very surprised by the positive comments, arrogant boss and wants to quickly force you to sit down even if it doesn't suit you! Even though the restaurant isn't full. The food may be good but the boss's behavior leaves something to be desired. I prefer to pay 10 times the price but to be treated with respect because that's the basis before the food itself!

We were 11 for a reunion of friends and family, we hosts coming from the US. Owner was very attentive, made good recommendations for serving a large group. Hosts spent many years in the Middle East and we highly recommend quality of the dishes whether the mixed grill platter, or the mezze selection beforehand. All delicious and authentic.

Food was super yummy and the portions were massive! The fresh drinks were also amazing - my partner loved the mint drink and said it complemented the food perfectly. One of our servers was clearly in a stressed/grumpg mood, but I assume he was because as we were walking in a customer was getting angry that we got a table and he didn’t. However this is because we had prebooked and this customer hadn’t. I see the customer (Klaus Vermeir) has left a review saying he was refused a table for no reason but I witnessed the server explaining the reason for this and being ignored. Please be patient with staff who are very busy and working hard to provide good food at a very reasonable price!

We had the for-2 plate for £40 and mint lemonade and orange juice. Very generous amounts of freshly prepared food, clean, cheerful service.

A clear lack of professionalism. I was politely refused the table I asked for, only to see it given to other customers moments later ...as if I mattered less. Totally unacceptable. When you treat customers differently based on who they are, you don’t deserve their trust. First and last time.

Amazing Lebanese food! Tabuleh to live for! The service was a dream - all food arrived very quickly and with a gorgeous smile from Fatima! Our group really enjoyed the atmosphere of the place and its authentic feel. We will be back!!!

Jouri is simply stupendous. The shawarma was the best we have ever had, and we come from a city with a large Levant population. The garlic sauce, or toum, had exactly the right amount of bite. The rice with vermicelli was good enough to be a satisfying meal in itself. The kebabs--lamb, chicken, and lamb mince--were perfect. The mince had a wonderful spice blend. And the lamb and chicken had extra zing from the marinade. Each dish came with a variety of pickled veg that provided the perfect accent to the spicy meats, as well as lettuce and mild onion for crunch. The hummus was creamy, and like all good hummus, it was a blended flavor that was not overpowered by lemon, tahini or garlic. Again, it was among the best we've had. There are a lot of similar restaurants on Edgware Road. Don't miss Jouri.

My husband and I were looking for a late night place to get food. We were greeted with a warm reception by Fatima and had ordered a few different items. Everything tasted really well, and hit all the right taste spots. At the end we got nice complementary baklava. The hospitality was great and food was wonderful!

Staff was quite friendly and such a reasonable price for this good amount that shared two of us! (£11 each) It was sophisticated and hygiene at the restaurant and stayed a while to relax after we finished eating, will come back :)

A pure delight! The lamb shank was absolutely exceptional, tender, tasty, perfectly seasoned — a real treat. Plus it’s not expensive. The service was equally remarkable: warm, attentive and professional. A perfect experience from start to finish. I will come back without hesitation!

One of the best experiences I had was with the shisha from Jouri, and all the credit, after God, goes to Fatima Qarsoun. Taste, professionalism, and a spirit that you only find with people who understand that work is fair. Fatima doesn't offer anything ordinary — she offers an experience. Great place! We were looking for a place to have lunch with my parents who had just arrive on the Eurostar and after reading some good reviews we decided to eat at Jouri's. Luckily we only had one starter to share because the Kofta, grilled lamb, sharwama, lamb shank etc the plates were HUGE (and since I had many appointments after I couldn't ask for a doggy bag, mind you I was full till the next morning!) Quality, price wise is great, service very quick, I seriously recommend the place (there are veggie/veggetarian options)

I love going to the Lebanese restaurants on the Edgware Road. Today it was Jouri’s turn. It was a Saturday afternoon, so it was moderately busy. We ordered the fresh mint tea and the lemonade with fresh mint. The mint tea was refreshing. I found the lemonade just a little bit overpowered by the mint, but my dining companion loved it. The moutabal came with fresh bread, and it was smoky and delicious. We then had the shawarmas. The meat was so fresh and tender. Massive potions of food. We enjoyed every bite of the food. Once we finished, we wandered down to Hyde Park for a long walk. Perfect way to spend a beautiful day in London.

We came directly from the airport. We were with 4 people and looking for something to eat. On the way to our apartment we came across this place. Kwa food this was exactly what we were looking for. As for the food, this is really good cuisine to eat. We went for a vegetarian and plain dish. This was more than enough for 4 people and fun to share. Kwa cost it was also well affordable. The service was fast and friendly. The design of the place was a little less atmospheric but that is also a matter of taste. The music was great. I am a music lover and there were all the songs that were unknown to me that I think are familiar to the culture of the restaurant. I thought it was great. If the service and food are good then I think it is already worth a good rating. Definitely a good one to eat something different for a while.

Food was delicious but one element of my order was incorrect (I wasn't too fussed). Great portion sizes. All the other dishes being served to other tables looked amazing.

Wonderful place. Visited before my flight for takeout order. I ordered chicken kabob and mezze platter to go. They packaged everything very nicely and secure for transportation. I ate the chicken wrap hours later and even then, at room temperature, it was delicious. The mezze platter was very tasty too and gave me plenty of bread. Kudos to the chef for preparing the food so quickly, and thoughtfully. Thank you!
