Had the absolute pleasure of dining here today with my family. The manager was very accommodating to our table size and made us feel incredibly comfortable. Staff were all very attentive and polite. We had 2 children with us in high chairs who naturally made a mess. They cleaned up with a smile and would even pick up the baby's toys of the floor when they passed. Service was next to none and the owner should be proud of his team. The restaurant is a true little gem in Cambridge. The food was awesome. Beautifully prepared and the flavours will take you to a different part of the world. Had a craving for shawarma and traditional dishes and this place definitely hit the spot. Next time I am in Cambridge, I know where we'll be going. P.s didn't get the names of the staff but i did manage to ask the name of one of the staff who served us and his name was Fahd. A very polite young man.

Hands down, Kan Zaman is the best food I’ve had recently! From appetizers to desserts, and of course the shisha, this restaurant exceeded all our expectations! If you’re a foodie like me, you’ll love this place! The menu has a fantastic selection of dishes, and we loved everything we tried. The freshness of the ingredients and the unique flavors in the mixed grill and their Kofta were unforgettable. The vegetarian option also was just amazing! Their falafel, halloumi, and lentil soup are epic. Each bite was a delight, and the presentation just blew us away. The staff at this restaurant genuinely care about their guests. The service was impeccable from start to finish. Everyone is serving you with a genuine smile. It’s a must-try for anyone visiting Cambridge. IT IS MY FAVORITE PLACE IN CAMBRIDGE. I loved my experience at Kan Zaman, it's a lovely authentic Lebanese restaurant with excellent food. I ordered a simple yet enjoyable meal of chicken shawarma, chips and a gorgeous Greek style salad with a freshly squeezed orange ,ginger and carrot juice and finished it off with a plate of balaclava and every part of that meal was beautifully presented, cooked to perfection and so well seasoned, let me say that homemade chilli souce was pure delight. All ingredients were fresh, the salad was crispy and had pomegranate seeds in it and one of the best, creamy feta cheese I have ever tasted. Service was excellent and the restaurant itself is lovely and airy with plenty of comfortable seating, above all it's very reasonably priced. I enjoyed the whole experience and wholeheartedly recommended this place.

We visited this restaurant today. Unfortunately, the place was not very clean — the walls, paper menu, and cutlery all appeared dirty. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and the food was fresh, but sadly, the food taste was absolutely average.

I had an incredible meal at Kan Zaman on a Monday night. We opted to sit outside in the cozy, covered space which was heated and tastefully decorated, creating a really nice atmosphere for a warm March evening. I can only imagine how amazing it’ll be during the summer months! The food was delicious, with generous portions that left us completely satisfied. We enjoyed a variety of meze and a chicken wrap, all of which were fresh, vibrant, and packed with flavor. The staff were fantastic—super friendly and eager to share recommendations when we weren’t sure what to try. I’ll definitely be back!

Second time visiting and the food is 10/10. Price is reasonable too. Chicken Taouk Two skewers of marinated chicken breast cubes, charcoal grilled Only downside is the first time went the lights kept flickering on and off and the seating can be very congested. There is shisha bar at the back and no prayer facilities especially it being Ramadan and a Lebanese restaurant.

The wrap contained too much liquid sauce, and it dripped everywhere while eating. Unfortunately, the presentation was not successful either. These aspects definitely need improvement.

I used Kan Zaman catering for my wedding reception at Cambridge mosque and could not recommend them enough! The team were very helpful and easy to communicate with - all of my questions and queries were dealt with promptly which put me at ease. The spread on the day of exceeded expectation and the food was gorgeous. All of my guests praised the food and went in for seconds which made me really happy. Overall it was a great experience with Kan Zaman and team and a huge thanks for making my special day a success.

I was poisoned by eating a falafel from this restaurant. It was so hard because I was nations during my all day travel the next day.

Very average food. Nice environment but was freezing cold as the door to the patio kept opening, as people were using shisha there. Ordered mix platter for two. Meat was dry and chewy, instead of being juicy and scrumptious. Service was great through. Won't visit again.

The food is very good, me and my friends go there quite often and we always like it and there’s never anything like undercooked food or unhygienic everything is absolutely good i’ve been regularly visiting it for about 4 months and never had issues. I must also mention that everything is always very quick and staff is nice and the atmosphere was alright but they recently opened after a renovation and it’s much better now. Also their food is very very well seasoned,good quality and portions for a fair price.

Tasty Egyptian and Mediterranean dishes and outstanding service. The falafel was especially delicious as well as the foul and side dishes. The ‘balady’ bread was hot and fluffy. Overall the meal was delicious and very reasonably priced. They’re also very environmentally conscious using bamboo straws. Highly recommended for an authentic Egyptian breakfast. About $5.0/ person

Kan Zaman Restaurant is one of the wonderful places. I recommend it to the family and also to young people. Their service was wonderful. The food was really delicious. I advise you to try it. I took a mixed grill plate from them. The meat was even and very tender, served with rice or potatoes and salad.

Excellent and authentic Middle Eastern food, and I know that cuisine well. The standard is consistently high, so when you dine here, you can be confident the food will be delicious. I treated my family to dinner and we ordered both the hot and cold sharing mezze starters and some mixed grills. The drinks were very nice too, piña colada and some milk shakes. Attentive and friendly service.

Put briefly: unhygienic and raw food. Caused food poisoning. Ordered takeaway from this restaurant yesterday night. Reviews seemed good so I didn’t think much of it. Bought myself fattoush, lentil soup and lamb kofta. On the app, as I was waiting for a driver to pick up my order, my order at the restaurant was “wrapping up.” My food was fully prepared before Uber Eats even selected me a driver (within less than 5 minutes, not even McDonald’s is that fast.. ) Should’ve known that was the first red flag. Food comes and it’s cold. As I was eating the fattoush, I found a strange hair within the vegetables. I was grossed out so I gave the soup a try. Firstly, the soup looked like it’s been watered down, minimal flavour, off smell. Didn’t feel very good about it so I ate the lamb wrap. The lamb was PINK. One cardinal rule of serving lamb and mutton is to make sure it’s cooked thoroughly. 2 hours after the meal I started sweating and vomiting profusely for the entire night. I know it was caused by the restaurant not only because of the pink undercooked lamb but because I hadn’t eaten a meal prior for the day. Health shouldn’t be messed with, especially careless handle of food that people are paying for.

The best Lebanese food I’ve ever had. We got the cold and hot mezze selection and it was incredible. Standout for me was the special koftah kebab. Totally delicious. We are all extremely lucky to have places like this in Cambridge.

I tried the fish, it was delicious..

I told the waiter, I am allergy to fruits. Asked if there's any fruits in the dish I ordered. He said no, there definitely aren't any fruits. My meal was full of a sticky sauce. I was told by another waiter its cranberry sauce! Allergies can result in death, this is inexcusable. They seemed to not care and smiled like its a joke. Very disrespectful staff, no customer service.

Just had an amazing experience at this place. Staff were very welcoming. We were greeted by a nice gentleman who sat us down. Ordered the lamb shank, rice and okra and the mixed grill, and the chilli and garlic sauces complimented the meat, rice and salad very well. The meat was cooked to perfection, was absolutely delicious and very good portion sizes. So much so, ended up taking some food home. This place has set the bar very high. The prices are very reasonable. Hands down, this is the best Middle Eastern restaurant and food in Cambridge! This is a must-visit for any food enthusiast craving authentic flavors and impeccable hospitality. The staff were attentive (especially service is amazing, the only downside was the rowdy group behind us who were very loud. Will be coming back again for sure. If you are passing by Cambridge, you must try this place out - you will not regret it.

An OK level restaurant, the food was Ok and the amount was good enough. but the Service and atmosphere were not up to the standard. It is a place for a quick stop and for a quick bite. Limited seats were available for Dine In.

Having tried a lot of similar food around the area this place has set the bar very high. Also price was good considering it’s Cambridge.

Would give 10 stars if I could. We had the set menu for two and it was an amazing plate of food and the biggest portion of meat I’ve ever seen. Such a good value and so many delicious fresh ingredients. Defo the best middle eastern food in Cambridge!

Fantastic restaurant and service. Had them for catering for an event involving 140 guests, and they did a wonderful job.

There were six of us that had dinner. The food was delicious and the presentation was fabulous. We had the falafel, hummus, moutabal, mixed pickles, and batata Hara for starters. Every single dish was delicious and professionally presented. For the main we all samples the rice, cuscus, chicken shawarma, lamb kofta, lamb kebabs, chicken wings, and shish tawook. Again the presentation was magnificent and every one of the meats was hot and delicious with delicate tastes and wonderful authentic spices. The service was phenomenal, attentive and personal. We felt very taken care of. It was a magnificent experience and definitely a place not to miss in Cambridge.

I recently ordered food, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The amount of mayonnaise provided was so little that it was barely enough for the portion of food I ordered. Additionally, the chicken was terribly cooked, making the entire meal far from enjoyable. I expected much better quality, and sadly, this order did not meet those expectations. I hope improvements are made in the future.

A little home away from home. The services is wonderful, reminecent of what you get in Damascus. The food was so and so. Some items hit a home run and some not up to par. Still a strong recommendation, just don't order the shawerma .

Excellent food, with lots of taste (which is not often the case in the UK). Portion sizes are large, so you need to be hungry.
