Pizza Pilgrims Cambridge in Cambridge

The garlic bread and 8 Cheese pizza knocked my socks off. Especially when pairing the already perfectly crispy and impossibly fluffy crust with their “crust dipper” sauces (though I’d prefer they were slightly cheaper at £2 for a small saucer). Portions were great. The 8 cheese pizza really shined with its burrata cheese sitting tall in the middle that you get to spread around the whole pie and enjoy with the chili tomato jam that helped provide the sweetness and sharpness needed to support the medley of cheeses. Two full bellies on splitting one garlic bread and one pizza. If you want a truly great pizza at a super reasonable price, don’t get stuck on the dozens of choices around here and make this your choice.

Pizza Pilgrims: 3 stars. The pizza was good, the service was... there. But this 'optional' 12% service charge has me feeling like I'm being held hostage by the bill! It's about as optional as breathing when you're underwater. If you can't afford to pay your staff properly, just be upfront and bake it into the price! £117 later for pizza, drinks, and a few bits, and I'm feeling less like a happy pilgrim and more like someone who's just been gently mugged by the menu. Farewell, Pizza Pilgrims. May your "optional" charges find a more willing disciple

Came for the food, stayed for Luca’s energy! He was tossing dough, joking with customers, and still made sure every pizza came out flawless

Not only does Luca make incredible Neapolitan-style pizza, but he also takes time to explain the process. My kids were mesmerized watching him work – and the margherita was perfection

Luca makes dining here an experience. My friend asked about flour types, and next thing we knew, he was giving us a mini masterclass! Oh, and the cacio e pepe 🤯.

Came in for lunch today (have been several times now). Service was really quick and smiley and the pizza choices were fabulous and delicious when they turned up. Quick service from ordering to serving and drinks too were very good - my friend loved the large Aperol Spritz! Very Italian feel on a sunny day in Cambridge. If you haven't been try it - great choice of food and drinks for all the family.

Had a great experience; we received our pizza from Chef Luca himself! The pizza was perfectly made with Ragu Genovese and fresh provola cheese, a delicious fusion of classic Italian flavors! Each bite was a perfect balance of hearty, savory richness and light, indulgent creaminess, making our pizza unforgettable. We will be back soon:)

I forgot how bad the service is here. I just walked out after waiting a ridiculous amount of time for a drink, let alone the food. People got their drinks before us despite arriving after us. It’s wild how you operate like this. It's a shame you can't give zero stars.

It deserves to all fee that we paid. They think kids aswell. When we sit the table they gave us pizza box. There were a lot of things for kids to play like colouring etc. Kids menü is perfect. Pizza, fruit juice, ice cream are just £7.5. Service,atmosphere, foods are all great.

Came in last night for a meal and check out the restaurant after their refurbishment and I was not disappointed. The service from Will was incredible! He was super friendly and couldn’t do enough to help us. Pizza was lovely! Thank you for a wonderful evening!

I can only speak highly of the gluten-free mushroom and truffle pizza I ordered. I didn't try the rest, but this was enough. The pizza was completely raw inside and burnt on the outside, as you can see in the photos. The mushrooms were canned, and the truffle wasn't even there. By far the worst gluten-free pizza I've ever had. The waiters were very friendly. Oh, and it's disrespectful of them to include a 12.5% ​​tip on the bill without asking if you're happy with it and if you liked the food.

Walked in expecting a pizza, but was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food! Jo was excellent as my server and the Tiramisu is to die for! Throughly enjoyed the food!

Pizza was delicious, the double pepperoni hot honey is a must try! And to top it off the service was impeccable, so much product knowledge and I loved the vibe of the pizzeria. We will definitely be back.

My favourite pizzas in all of Cambridgeshire. Genuinely I think they are the best I've ever tried. My personal recommendation is the double pepperoni and spicy honey pizza - Jesus Christ, it's like ascending to heaven. 10/10 food, 10/10 vibes, 10/10 service, what more would you want? We visited Pizza Pilgrims on a very busy Saturday in Cambridge. The manager who greeted us (afraid I didn’t catch his name), was welcoming and very accommodating, especially as I had forgotten to mention we had brought babies, prams, and all manner of baby stuff, finding us a bigger space, despite being extremely busy. Will, our area supervisor was similarly kind and friendly, and really made our experience comfortable, especially as we moved a second time to a shadier table. At this point I thought I might have won the award for most annoying customer, but no, Will and his colleague (again, didn't catch name sadly), were understanding, thoroughly professional, and very generous with their time and energy, taking pains to re-seat us and make sure we had everything we needed. This really was above and beyond, and really appreciated, as this was our first attempt at a sit down lunch with our 12 week old. So, if you’re new parents, you’re craving delicious pizza, crunchy and salty artichoke hearts (recommended!) and excellent, warm and friendly service, I can heartily recommend Pizza Pilgrims. I had a wonderful experience with pizza pilgrims. Unnimaya, our server, was exceptional — warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. She made sure we were comfortable, checked in regularly without being intrusive, and offered great recommendations. The pizzas were fresh, flavorful, and arrived promptly. Unnimaya’s friendly attitude really enhanced our visit, and I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for great food with outstanding service. Looking forward to coming back soon!

This place was nice before but is much more comfortable since the renovations. Loved the provola e pepe special and Alwin's service was great!

Food was sensational and transported us to Italy with every bite. The flavours were inovative and incredible making for an amazing experience. The staff were lovely and very helpful, with someone always around to help. The atmosphere with chequed table clothes and mosaic tables create an atmosphere that simply screams Italy and upstairs feels as if you have been flown straight to the Mediterranean. Overall a delightful Italian experience!!
