Possibly the best Indian takeaway I’ve ever had. Authentic, perfectly spiced, each dish distinct. We collected and were given a chai while we waited which was amazing. Would have given 5 stars if the whole meal hadn’t been stone cold. Nothing that 20 minutes microwaving couldn’t sort out though.

It is not a restaurant, it is a place where you can order Indian food online. The food we ordered was really good, we had the Mandi chicken biryani and the Golconda chicken biryani. Everything was well packed and the portion of food was really generous. They even gave us extra sauce. We will order more for sure next time. Cheers!

Authentic biryani but the quality and quantity has declined significantly unfortunately. Food is served cold most of the time and we have to heat it! The last time we ordered fried rice, it was way too spicy!

The garlic naan bread were great but we ordered the chicken fried rice as it said it had "mild Indian spices" and it arrived too hot for any of us to eat.

I rarely say this about Indian food I’ve tried in the UK but this is food that hits closest to home. (I’m south Indian, like, from the mothership) also, delivery driver was an absolute sweetheart!

Very good take away. I started talking to the boss and his colleagues. Very friendly team. Everyone tries very hard to make you feel comfortable as a customer and make the right choice despite not knowing the dishes. I took a dish for my wife and everyone was very careful to keep the spiciness tolerable. If I lived in Cambridge this would be a good address and I would definitely stop by again. - And yes, the bad review of a predecessor must be a mix-up. The Namaste (where I was) is clearly a take away and not a restaurant ☺️ - Oh yes and last but not least: we really enjoyed it!

Great food, wonderful Chai This takeaway place is essentially just a window in a garage at a retail park, but the experience was great. After placing your order you get a Chai while waiting and the super-friendly and helpful staff check in on you regularly. Also they were concerned that the food could be too spicy, so they gave me a sample to try (it was absolutely fine, and very tasty). I would definitely recommend the place and will go again when in Cambridge.

A Home Away from Home - Delicious Food & Exceptional Service! I recently spent 8-9 days in Cambridge and I'm so grateful to have discovered Namaste Cambridge! The food was absolutely delicious, and the chefs are truly skilled. But what really made my experience stand out was the courteous staff - they made me feel like I was home! Special mention to Verra, the owner, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I tried a variety of Indian dishes during my stay, and each one was more flavorful than the last. If you're ever in Cambridge and worried about finding great food, look no further than Namaste Cambridge! It's a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Eating their food from the time they have started. Quality of the food top notch. Variable menus All the time.Always up to the standard. Authentic food just like home. Prices are reasonable. Very friendly people. I still remember they offered extra food on many occasions. I strongly recommend their food. I hope they expand and everybody able to access Thier delicious food.

After seeing so many good reviews, I decided to try this place a few months back. 1. No 10% discount on collection was given as default until I asked for it. Based on this, I didn't bother to ask for the masala chai anyway. So, that's something for customer service to work on. 2. Food was okay. Samosa was good. Tandoori chicken was bad. Paneer butter masala was okay. 3. I recently saw a comment on their Facebook page, someone asking if Food is Halal or not and they have acknowledged their food as Halal (while it didn't mention about it anywhere else). So, that another reason for me to NOT visit this place ever again.

It's been 7 days since we have arrived in Cambridge & we have ordered food from Namaste Cambridge on almost all of those days! The place was recommended by a friend. We have mostly collected our orders for 2 main reasons - 1) We get to interact with the lovely folks at the counter 2) We are treated to some amazing masala chai on the house! So far we have tried almost all of their splendid biryanis & tandoori chicken. Today we tried their Mughlai Curry. It was simply superb. Many more things to try on their menu. The menu is quite reasonable for the quality & quantity of food. Namaste Cambridge has helped us not miss our home too much. Love their food & service. Keep up the good work. We will do all we can to spread the good word about you guys. Cheers! :)

This place has authentic Indian food especially really tasty biryanis. It has become our favourite in the past one year. The staff is always welcoming and delivers to your door step when you need to. Thanks to Ali for delivering the food to us quite early in your day for an event.

Disappointing Experience at Namaste Village Cambridge: Overpriced and Poor Quality My wife and I recently dined at Namaste Village Cambridge and left thoroughly disappointed. We began with the "Love to Share Platter," which included onion bhaji and fried beetroot starter, both of which were nice. However, we opted to take the main courses, Veggie Korma and Chicken Butter Masala, as takeaway. Upon arriving home, we found two grey hairs in our food, which was incredibly off-putting and unacceptable. We decided not to eat the main courses at all. The Veggie Korma and Chicken Butter Masala were bland and tasteless, comparable to supermarket food. Given that we spent GBP 64.46 on the meal, we couldn’t help but feel that the price didn’t match the poor quality. Additionally, there was a mandatory tip, which added to our disappointment. The toilets were also undesirable, adding to the negative experience. Despite the friendly waiting staff and the enjoyable elements of the "Love to Share Platter," the overall experience was disappointing. If you're considering Namaste Village Cambridge for its vegetarian offerings, be aware of these serious issues. We strongly advise looking elsewhere for a better dining experience.

Its collection so you cant eat there. But honestly the food was very nice. I really liked the mandi biriyani and mango lessi. Their service is also good even offered some lamb gravy for us. Food all in all i really loved it

I ordered chicken biryani, I recently got to know about namaste Cambridge And indeed, they serve original Hyderabadi biryani. The experience is no less than that of Hyderabad biryani. In addition, I often place orders, I like both veg and non-veg curries. Please maintain the same quality so that I can rely when I don’t feel like cooking at home, haha (lol)

Fantastic food, we searched for the indian food near to the cambridge station and found this gem...but we missed one part that it is take away only...we reached there today with family....after reaching there found that it is a cloud kitchen and delivery only...we took biriyani and chicken 65 for there along with mango lassi and laddus. The food is tasty, and the portion is quite big. If you are looking for a pocket friendly good food joint, please try this one.

[19 May 2024] dum biryani NC special - 7.5/10. alright, ginger and clove forward flavour profile Malabar biryani - 8.5/10, really nice. more salty and cardamom forward. get this next time. [5 Nov 2023] Kadai Chicken - 9.5/10, damn good Mutton curry - 6.5/10, not sure what went wrong. just kind of bland. only thing I got was cinnamon. Veg Manchurian - 7.5/10, would have been a 10/10 if crispier. No naan listed on deliveroo! sad. The taste is amazing and best suits if someone looking for proper Indian (mostly Hyderabad style but not limited to, they try all Indian and Arabian style dishes all the time). My go to for authentic Biryani and Currys. Consistent flavours and service. Would highly recommend. The flavours and spice level is on the higher side but delicious. Exactly how it should be. Highly recommend the Dum Lamb Biryani and Butter Chicken. Portions are huge, can be shared between 2 comfortably.

The food was fantastic, bursting with flavors and colors. I loved the Navratram curry; it was incredibly delicious. Don't miss the beetroot kebab, it's the best starter! The Holi-Tini cocktail was good, though a bit sweet. The staff was really nice and attentive, even though we didn't have a reservation and the restaurant was full. Can't wait to come back!

Service was 4 because most of the food was cold - they assumed we'd heat it up at home. How ever, we're visiting Cambridge so staying in a hotel - we didn't mention that either. Good to know they cook food every day, rather than hearing up the frozen stuff. It's a take.away so no eating given for the atmosphere

I have been a fan of Namaste Cambridge for a year. Whenever I have gatherings with friends we always order from here. But! Recently our order which includes Sambar, vegetable Manchuria, and egg curry are very disappointing. The Sambar is missing lentils, too watery; the egg curry is lacking flavour, and the vegetable Manchuria tastes like it just added some sauce to defrosted supermarket veggie balls. I’m really hoping that this is just a one off.

There is no value for money.. They give very small quantity for the amount they charge, despite them being a takeaway service.. A paneer dish that costs 7.5pounds had barely 10 pieces.. Rest of the curries are all lacking in quantity despite a large order.... Dissappointed with their service.

I’ve used their takeaway service few times now and am disappointed with their customer handling and the unnecessary issues during food collection. I always contact them before ordering, requesting my food to be ready before 6:00 P.M. But when I arrive, my order isn’t ready and I’m made to wait outside, one occasion for nearly half an hour, while other delivery services like Just Eat are constantly collecting their orders even before 6:00 P.M. There have been times when an item was missing, or the ordered item was sold out and I was forced to accept a substitute. One of my orders, two of the same item were missing and I had to go back to collect them. During my latest order, I noticed the same mistake while packing, he packed only one item and I had to remind him that he hasn’t packed all the items ordered. The latest order, the chicken curry and chicken majestic, was very salty and I didn’t enjoy the food. If someone orders takeaway food for collection, they need to ensure all the items ordered are packed as they are prone to making mistakes.

We have been in England since 1981. As you can imagine we have food from many an “ Indian “ restaurant from all over the country over the years.we would whole heartedly recommend the food from Namaste Cambridge.Authentic taste and flavours,good sized portions,reasonably priced and hygienicly packed. Only slight criticism if I’m honest is it does take long for home delivery to reach places like Peterborough! That being said overall it very positive experience. I hope their standards can be kept up as their business grows.
