Beirut Garden in Camden

We happened upon this restaurant by chance after visiting the museum and hoped that wencould get falafel, which were were craving. We were so glad we chose this restaurant, as the falafel was so delicious we placed another order to take home! We also had the vegetarian mousakka plate, which had superb flavours, and was a generous portion of food. We love it when we find a great falafel restaurant and Beirut Garden delivered. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was cozy, and the baklava was terrific. We loved our meal at this great little gem.

The food was excellent- flavourful and delicious. I loved the variety on the menu and how the platters let you have a bit of everything. I can’t pick a favourite dish, they’re all so good! We’ve been to many restaurants around London, but this is by far our favourite - we keep coming back! Highly recommend.

I ordered “Baba Ghanoush” and “Lamb Kabadh,” with garlic and hot sauce provided separately, allowing me to customize the flavor and spice level. The fresh food and welcoming atmosphere make this place highly recommended!

There are no modern twist, no artisan ingredients, tin tomatoes, fresh okra, fluffy rice, this is old school pot to plate cooking. Okra and Lamb stew was juicy and rich, the rice was very well cooked. The spicy chilli sauce had the perfect mouth hum! The stuffed lamb was great, but the stew was the winner. The cheese cake was a surprise, it literally is melted cheese and polenta cake on top, nonetheless it was actually really rather nice! The food is ridiculously cheap for what you get. I will be returning when I am in town for a cheap and cheerful filling food with great service.

Absolutely delicious chicken shawarma and hummus! The shawarma was perfectly seasoned and juicy, and the hummus was smooth and flavorful. The portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh. On top of that, the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!

All the dishes we had were lovely. Service was excellent and they were happy to accommodate requests. Few minutes walk from the British Museum.

Disappointing Chicken Burger Experience. I visited your restaurant expecting a freshly grilled chicken burger for lunch, given that you specialize in grilled food. However, what I received was a frozen burger (possibly grilled) in a bun with mayo and fries for £8. Additionally, the price displayed on your board was £7.35, but I was charged £8. I didn’t want to question it at the time, but if your prices have changed, it might be worth updating your board to reflect the correct amount. Had I known the burger would be a frozen patty, I would have opted for McDonald’s, where I could have gotten a meal with a drink for a similar price. I expected more from your restaurant, so this was quite disappointing. I would like to add, in my previous visit I got a different item and that was lovely. I wanted to share this feedback in case it’s something you’d like to address.

Nothing extraordinary. Good food, reasonable service. Not a place to meet for a special event to be honest.

Very tasty mezze dishes, served by friendly staff. But the main course arrived immediately, so it had to sit there getting cold. I gave a hefty tip, only to spot too late, they'd charged 12.5% service. Oh well, lesson learned......order less, and check the bill

The service was always with a smile. Even when the order was slightly mismanaged, it was changed immediately and without hassle. A couple of tasters were offered on complimentary basis and the team made the effort to have us served rapidly as we had to be out in 30minutes. Truly - highly recommended

One of the most beautiful experiences I had in London. You can't miss eating there. It's a beautiful thing. The food is very special, and the service is excellent. Whoever loves halloumi should not miss it. It's absolutely amazing. The ayran is amazing. The hummus is a wonderful pasta.

Mahmoud was amazing with great customer service

We recently ordered from Beirut Garden and I would highly recommend them. They serve delicious, authentic Lebanese food, with every dish prepared to perfection. The staff had a great attitude and they provided excellent service. Easily my favourite Middle Eastern spot in London. Planning on bringing the family again soon!

We placed an order for take-out, although they give out a piece of paper with the names of the dishes and take it away upon delivery, they did not give us our order. Since everything is wrapped, we didn't check it. We paid for lamb and chicken and ended up with 3 doners and fries. Found already at the hotel. Not attentive staff. And by the way, this food was not tasty

Good price, good quality, good service.

The food was fine. However, I have a nut allergy and, despite ordering dishes which were “nut free” (according to the allergen menu), ended up having an anaphylactic reaction. I’d strongly recommend that people with allergies avoid this restaurant. There is clearly a lot of cross contamination in the kitchen. To make matters worse, the restaurant then proceeded to charge my friends for the full meal. It is genuinely shocking that they didn’t offer a discount given what happened.

Curly hair in the food. The waiter seemed nonplussed. While the vibes were decent, I’ve had better-tasting dishes elsewhere.

Food was great. Until my friend had a severe allergic reaction (despite ordering food which was described as nut free). Be extremely careful if you have a nut allergy.

Food was great (beirut salad and bamieh bil-lahme) but the "lebanese coffee" was just sludge, presumably the dregs of the jug. Service was disinterested and slow. Restaurant was decent-looking but toilet wasn't very clean or looked-after.

Love this place! The food is so fresh and tasty and its reasonably priced. The staff are so friendly and happy especially Mahmoud, Abdallah and Ali who always make us feel so welcome. Love this place

5* food! 5* service! The food was quick and hot and fresh. The waiters were very friendly. We went before Mrs Doubtfire which was perfect. We just had lots of picky bits - hummus, salads, breads, pastries and it was perfect. Complimentary baklava too! Knocked a star off from a big group of annoying lads who felt like they needed to laugh extra loud and speak extra loud just because you’re a group of men. So annoying. Anyway otherwise I’d recommend oh and it’s BYOB 👍🏻

Excellent service, really nice and friendly & welcoming. My bf got the Seabass, he said it was the best he'd ever had. I had the kafta yoghurtieh, which was delicious as well. Absolutely recommend!

Beirut Garden is my favorite restaurant in this city. It's not just the garlic dip or the chili sauce or the hommos beiruty. It's not just the no frill vibes. It's not just the amazing quality. It's mainly, for me, about the service. Every time I'm there (which is, I'm not afraid to admit, often), Mahmoud and the team extend a certain kindness that makes me feel like I've been invited to eat in someone else's home. They are generous on every level imaginable. I take everyone I know here and will continue doing so until the cows go home.

Excellent fresh food! One of the really good Lebanese restaurants in central London.

We went for dinner tonight with our little dog, and they couldn’t have been more welcoming. We weren’t sure if pets would be allowed, but they seated us at a lovely table without any hesitation. We even mentioned they could sit us apart from other clients, but they assured us it was no problem. The food arrived beautifully presented and in generous portions—everything was absolutely delicious! The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, especially Mahmoud, who made our experience even better. At the end of our meal, they surprised us with a complimentary (and delicious!!) selection of desserts, which was such a nice touch. Given that it’s located in a busy area like Covent Garden, I have to say the quality and prices were fantastic. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely bring friends and family here when they visit London. Can’t wait to come back!

Simple setting and good selection for vegetarians. The food was also tasty - only observation I can make is the food is not freshly prepared in my view. Would’ve liked to have recommendations from the staff since we were vegetarian. Overall enjoyed the meal and setting.

From being greeted at the door to our completing our meal, everything was great. The service was wonderful, the food was very delicious and the manager was kind providing us with a wonderful dessert. I highly recommend this restaurant.

My only complaint is that we felt very rushed, we hadn't all finished our starters before plates were being taken and our main meal was crammed on the table We enjoyed the food but be aware portions are quite large

A wonderful, clean restaurant with delicious food and excellent service. Worth a visit

We were in the area and looking for a place called Honest Falafels on New Oxford St. Spent 20 mins looking around for it but couldn’t find. Then we found this Lebanese restaurant which also did Falafel. We were welcomed in. We had a Falafel & halloumi sandwich, Plain falafel sandwich, chips, pitta and yogurt. They also gave us chilli sauce and garlic sauce. The garlic sauce was amazing. Total came to £31. Overall we enjoyed the food and nice atmosphere. The staff were pleasant and they offered some complimentary baklava before we left. There was a room in the basement where I found a musalla. Prayed Salaah there Alhamdulillah.

We booked a table two days before we wanted to visit. We arrived to be told they were full and we would have to sit outside. As it was drizzling with rain windy and cold we declined. The man that greeted us was rude and threw the menu down on the outside table. The whole experience was awful.

AMAZING experience at Beirut Garden! We arrived late to our reservation due to a theatre showing, 20 minutes before they closed, and they served us anyways!! The food arrived promptly and was good. We could have been asked if we required more bread which is always nice to be offered. We like the food especially the houmous Beiruty and the tabbouleh. It was a lovely touch to give homemade baklava at the end. The ambience could be improved with softer lighting

Very nice place, went there to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday and they were very nice! Brought a cake with me and they created the perfect setting, singing happy birthday to him as well!! Would recommend!

This restaurant is one of the most beautiful and cleanest restaurants I have ever visited. The food, the staff, and especially the place I recommend trying this restaurant, otherwise you will have wasted half your life.

Non-Muslims are not welcome here. I left work feeling very hungry and went for some hummus. Shortly after, two Muslim women arrived and specifically asked that I change tables, to which the waiter agreed and moved me a bit from where I was sitting.

Amazing introduction to the world of Lebanese food. The chicken shawarma was brilliant, probably the best I've ever had. The staff was very friendly and understanding, they even offered us some baklava on the house. Considering the location, the price was very reasonable, I would definitely go back.
