Outstanding food and service. We visited with teenagers and their staff went out of their way to make us welcome and find food they would like. Everything we had was delicious. Amazing value for lunch menu too.

Barushka Restaurant, located in the Salisbury area outside London in the United Kingdom, is a wonderful Middle Eastern restaurant. It serves small plates and Michelin-style dinners. The food is cooked fresh in front of the customers It serves Arabic and Turkish dishes and the food is delicious. The atmosphere of the place is beautiful and the place is excellently clean. The staff are very kind and helpful.

Outstanding restaurant! We went for my daughters 18th birthday and told the staff in advance, the service was unbelievably good with all members of staff coming over to say 'Hello and congratulations', the drinks were served quickly and were delicious, I had a couple of Mocktails and found them delicious. The food matched the effort the that the waiting staff had put in and was delivered in a timely manner without us feeling rushed and quite frankly was out of this World! There were four of us and we decided on two different sharing platters between us. When the platter starters came out we couldn't stop eating it, it looked delicious and was! We could have stayed and just kept ordering the mezze starter. When the main courses came out we were overwhelmed with how much food there was and the the variety of meats/rices/sauces on the platters was exceptional! Everything was delicious and the staff singing 'Happy Birthday' to my daughter at the end of the meal was the icing on the cake. Outstanding service, atmosphere, drinks and food. Will definitely be back again!

OMG, this place is awesome! Lamb shank was tender and fell off the bone. So good we came back the next night and got a share platter to try lots of new things. Staff was very helpful since there were a lot of things we'd never tried before. We were only in town a couple days and we ate here twice. I can't wait to try it again.

Exceptional! Vegan mezzo, Turkish sausage and cauliflower shawara. Washed down with Beiruit lager. Turkish coffee and cardamon tea to finish.

To be honest it was nice to try something different from just Indian cuisine. However I and my partner were both underwhelmed by what was on offer. It was all a bit dry. Small portions for the price and the cost of drinks very high. I ordered a cocktail for a change, but found that the glass had very little cocktail and a whole lot of ice. For the money we paid, I would of liked a bit better

We had a very friendly welcome upon arrival. Drinks were served quick, and so was the food. It tasted delicious. Everything was lovely presented. Coctails and mocktails were also amazing, and we were well looked after. Definitely would recommend this place.

The food here is always so full of flavour and delicious! It’s all packaged up so nicely and delicious. Would love more of the salad bits especially the delicious coleslaw

We went to Baroushka on a cold Saturday night in November and had a wonderful meal. The mixed Mezze and the small plates we had were all so very tasty, and the Rose and Lychee martini was a revelation. Great cooking and good value, we were two happy diners.

Had a lovely relaxed evening with good food and ambience. Thoroughly recommend.

Fantastic meal excellent service and lovely warm atmosphere

Our first visit since Baroushka switched from Lebanese to Mediterranean so we were apprehensive this time. However the food is still outstanding as is the service. Our old favourites are still on the menu with some interesting additions. We had the large sharing platter and a couple of glasses of Lebanese wine; delicious! Highly recommended.

Fantastic food and brilliant service. We had the bottomless mezze and it was a great way to sample lots of different things. We had a very warm welcome and the young lady that looked after us was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and very attentive. There wasn’t a single dish that the 4 of us didn’t like! We had our water topped up without having to ask, and the home made rose lemonade was incredible. We have been here a few times over the years now and it’s always been excellent. Looking forward to coming back!

Very expensive for a takeaway, not a lot of food was provided for the amount we paid, disappointed, had to cook extra at home in the end as our child was still hungry. Probably won't order again.

We ordered a takeaway directly from Barouska last night. From the efficient way the order was taken, through to a call telling us it was on its way, then the quick time it took to deliver it to us AND everything being hot and absolutely delicious !! We all agreed it was probably THE best takeaway we had ever had in Salisbury. Absolutely 5 stars from us. Yes it’s more expensive than many other takeaways but it was absolutely worth it. Well done Barouska we will be ordering again soon !

The mixed grill plate was 42£ and based on menu it was for two but It would be for a couple with a kid. Too much food, so delicious and amazing staff. I am sure I will be there again 👍👍👍

Wow wow wow. Such an amazing place. Food was to die for. Service was great. Christina was brilliant, very attentive and knowledgeable about the food. Restaurant was clean and very presentable. First time in Salisbury but if we come back here again, I will be back for sure.

turned up for lunch today at 1200hrs - door unlocked but no one around. i called and called and eventually someone came out from the kitchens - 'we're closed'! BEWARE - despite website stating open lunchtimes it was closed today.

Our first order from here & we were super impressed! Had the hot meze with a side of halloumi and olive tapenade, followed by the cheese cake and baklava. All delicious. Can’t wait to order again and work our way through the menu.

Baroushka is an absolutely wonderful restaurant. Many options for vegetarians and their Baba Ganouj is even better than mine😁. The chef came out to us and made sure everything was great and it was.

We had a lovely Tabbouleh, the aubergine Moussaka and a dish with Puy lentils. All dishes were clearly freshly made and bursting with flavour. One of the nicest meals I have had in a long while and I eat out quite a bit. I chose vegetarian dishes though not a vegetarian and it was all delicious

Food is of good quality but it feels like a rip off to get a mezze plate for 2 ppl with just 4 tiny pieces of bread - then being charged ~1 pound for every single additional piece of bread you need to finish the dish. The service charge of 10% is added automatically.

Really delicious food. Great choices across a variety of middle Eastern dishes. As a vegetarian there was plenty of choice. One starter, one main,one desert (my patner and I shared) , two glasses of wine,a beer and coffee was £63 so not cheap but very very tasty. Will return

This has been one of the worst lunch experiences I’ve had in a long time. I travelled 45 minutes to try their food after seeing their reviews on here. Really disappointed with the food and the staff today especially after seeing all the 5* reviews. I was expecting more than what I got. I came in for lunch and being vegan I ordered the aubergine frites, stuffed vine leaves, and sweet potato fries. I asked if the aubergine frites could be made vegan and the waiter said they were vegan “it’s fine”. I corrected him and said that the feta it comes with is not vegan. He didn’t seem to understand which made me nervous about ordering so I asked for another waiter who was fine and made the adjustments for me. The food came and looked so unappetising especially the stuffed vine leaves which were poorly wrapped with white gooey?? stuff on the outside- nothing like the images they have on their socials. The aubergine frites were supposed to have pomegranate and tahini on top (minus the feta) but it came without anything, just plain aubergine. It turned out that it usually comes with a sauce that combined all those ingredients together and so by omitting the feta, I couldn’t have the sauce. Neither the menu nor the waiter made it clear, it sounded like separate ingredients. No one came to check how our meal was the whole time we were there and considering there were only 5 customers in the restaurant at that time, I find that strange. When we requested the bill, I queried the vine leaves and was told that the white stuff was congealed olive oil from transit because they buy them in. I just wanted to understand what I was ordering and judging by their tone it seemed like I was inconveniencing them just by asking which made me feel bad. It was also so cold in the restaurant we felt we had to wear our coats. I didn’t feel as if I could ask the waiter for the heating to be put on because of everything else that had gone on. It was a sad meal and so disappointing when I had such high hopes for a great meal.

The food we received was on time and very good. But part of our order was missing. Phoned restaurant and abruptly told they would just process a refund. Have not received that as yet.

The menu has a little from every country in that part of the world which is both rare these days and lovely to see so extra marks for that initiative! Highly recommended and we will be back there...

A very tasty meal. Baroushka's customer service is second to none and I can't rate them highly enough.

The beers were brilliant. Unfortunately I thought the food was a bit of a let down. A lot of the meals are ‘fusion’ style and I don’t think it works. Service was good.

Had a lovely family dinner here. The place is clean and the server was patient with my family, who are new to Middle Eastern cuisine. The array of appetiser and main entrée were delicious! Love the Mezze platter and kibbeh. The mixed grill platter was very much generous.Definitely recommend Barouskha!

Vegetarian and fish dishes are really worth recommending. The place is very clean and well-kept. The location is perfect for a walk around the city center. The best place I've been to recently! Update on 02 Dec 2023; Still fantastic, great service, thank you for a lovely evening. On the pricier side, but even so, absolutely fantastic value. Delightful and tasty food, with a wide range of Mediterranean and Arabic delicacies, cooked and plated to top standards.

Had a really good meal here. The staff were very friendly and wanted to ensure we had a great experience, offering advice on various dishes. Everything was very tasty and full.of flavour.

Please don't go here hungry, very small portions indeed. In my stew I had one chicken wing and one leg both of which were bone, the cous cous was literally two teaspoon fulls so hardly worth adding to the plate. I asked for more chicken and to be fair they provided more. We ordered two starters, two main meals and two puddings plus one drink each, total cost £100 and absolutely dont feel this was value for money. The food that was provided was tasty but we both could have eaten the same again! I wouldn't re visit due to this.

We enjoyed the most amazing meal at this Lebanese restaurant. Tasty, beautifully presented and the staff were all very knowledgable & helpful. The place was spotless including the toilets.

I phoned the restaurant yesterday to book a table for 2 today (Sunday 29th Oct) at 2pm. We arrived 15 mins early to an empty restaurant and was told that we'd need to order quickly and eat quickly as the kitchen was closing in 10 minutes! I explained we had a booking for 2pm but was told we'd have to be quick. They obviously didn't want us there, even after having called & spoken to them for the booking. We left. I had also filled in their 'contact us' form on their website on the Friday, but got no reply.

It was our first time in a Lebanese restaurant. So we needed help and were suggested starters and main dishes by the lovely staff. Everything came out suitable both for the children and for us parents. Absolutely delicious! A cozy atmosphere and beautiful decoration. Taste the Lebanese wine and the Arak!

Good service and food was stunning. Enjoyable experience had. Reasonably cheap too. We shared a kebab plata and the quantity suited us perfectly within a beautiful setting. I would definitely revisit.

I ordered a starter as a main, the portion was small so ordered another starter and paid more for the privilege. I should have ordered a posh kebab. I can't fault the service or atmosphere.

A lovely styled restaurant with nice ambience. The lady who served us went above and beyond. Gave us wine tasters so we could pick the wine we liked best. We asked to to choose 3 starters a 4 mains for us. They brought out 4 starters; one that wasn't on the menu. Food was delicious, staff were the best so a fabulous evening.

Second time we've visited all be it a few years apart. Standards and quality haven't dropped. We enjoyed a fantastic family meal with warm hospitality as before. If you're visiting Salisbury I really do recommend you check this place out its only a shot walk from the main shopping area. Also excellent for Gluten free as my wife and daughter are both coeliac.

We'd been recommended to try here and must say glad we came. Staff friendly, helpful and attentive without being overly so. Meal was excellent and good value for money. If we're ever in Salisbury again would definitely come again.

I have been to Baroushka 6 times now and I really can rate this place highly enough. When I am on business in the area I make it a point to go here. I have though a few time about marking the 300 mile round trip just to come to this restaurant. The venue is very warm and welcoming and has a great vibe about it and the staff are very attentive and helpful. The food oh the food is just amazing. Every bite is just bursting with flavour. I am trying to work my way through the menu on my visits. Tonight I have had the chicken livers to start, this was a wild card as it’s not something I would normally go for outside of pate! But I can’t recommend it enough. Main I have the melting beef and potato skewer. The beef was melt in the mouth and the flavours where amazing the green sauce on the plate that’s separate to the food has a little kick but adds to the dynamic of what’s going on with the rest of the food. I really can’t recommend the place highly enough and anybody thinking twice about to try the place or not, I please ask you to give it a go as you won’t be disappointed.

Went here for the first time. Atmosphere great, staff lovely, food ok. Wouldn't be my first choice, but ok for something different. Prices of the wine a little pricey, but I suppose you get what you pay for!! Would I go again??? Not sure, no not no!
