The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Lebanese food

Been going to this place since mid 2000's but a recent visit has highlighted that this place has gone stale in all aspects. Spent nearly £50 on 4 chicken schwarma, plate of humous with naan, plate of chips and 3 cokes. Schwarma's were bare, dry and bland, chips used to be chunky but now MacDonald size and over fried, cokes were £2.50 a can (need I say more) and finally humous was nice but the naan were stale and hardened like cement. This establishment is now resting on it laurels and old goodwill. Old customers, like me, will leave knowing how good it used to be. Customer service from a prison canteen, overpriced drinks and state of the toilets downstairs recently was overlooked but now, crucially, food quality has left the building. Sadly for me, time for me to move on from this establishment.

I went fayrooz for the first time last week after being interested for a while. I ordered a mixed grill for 1, which was priced at £17, so judging by the price I was expecting good things. The service was good in store but I made the mistake of not checking the food before I left as I would have asked for my money back. The food ended up in my bin before thinking about taking photos. The portion didn’t fill the box. The kofte meat tasted like it was gone off. The chicken was dry. The lamb was dry. I asked for chilli and garlic. They gave me them in pots which had clearly been sitting in the fridge for a while. I was tempted to go back and explain this face to Face but was never going to go down as well as a review. I would recommend going to ‘the real Turkish’ also in catford. You will see the difference in food quality, presentation and most importantly this day and age the price! I won’t be going fayrooz again and hopefully they can put more pride into their food.

This place has the best sheasha and food can’t beat it, Eid is your man for sheasha & Ahmad for the best food service 10/10 💯👌🏻

Wow este lugar es realmente una experiencia. El menú es fantástico, la comida es deliciosa y no mal de precio, pero las bebidas son muy marcadas de aquí. El servicio era bueno, atento, sin exagerar.

Being a visitor & not knowing London, we were searching for somewhere to eat after visiting a very boring Natural History Museum when we came across this busy but bright & cheerful resteraunt. We had not eaten Lebanese food before but if this was a sample then we certainly will be again! Beautiful food & great service. We complimented the lady who cleared our plates & stood chatting about the delicious dressing on our food. She then brought over a sample neat for us to try & then kindly gave us this large bottle to take home! She was amazing. We left a tip but she returned this pointing out they did put a service charge on. Nevertheless l gave her extra for the tip jar. Wished we lived nearer because certainly would eat there regularly & try out the different foods. Thank you

Not good food at all. Ate in the other branch many times in previous years ago. Only half order was taken and she handed it to kitchen while one member was still deciding what to eat, so half food came out before we finished ordering. Food had a terrible taste. Wished we had chosen another place nearby. A complete waste of money.

We went here on Saturday as a family of 4 after I ate here several months ago and really enjoyed it . After lining up I asked for the lamb burger meal that I had before and was told they no longer did this and it was now a wrap . Same price which worked out at £48 , they then proceeded to weigh the meat in front of you in a cardboard tub , i questioned why they were doing this to be informed they had changed all there operation of serving food . There was not enough meat there to fill a child . They then asked me if we wanted salad on our meals which on observation were all wrong anyway . 4 staff behind the counter and it honestly was complete chaos . In the end my patience was pushed to far and I told them to forget . The lad behind the counter just laughed when I told him it was ridiculous to weigh food in front of your customers . It’s a shame that costs have gone up but there are better business plans then Just knocking off 75% of the content and replacing it with chips . We will not be returning , if weighing of your food was done in a fish and chip shop or kebab shop in front of you I imagine there would be a riot . RIDICULOUS

They play loud music to the early hours of the morning with no regard for the tenants who live above. The oven is on very loud from 13:00-23:00. Sometimes past midnight too. The smell of the grill is overbearing and smoke regularly pour out onto the street and into the apartments above. They truly do not have respect or regard for any of the residents. Very poor attitude when issues have been escalated directly to the manager/owner.

El lugar estaba completo cuando llegamos. Y no nos asignaron un marco de tiempo de cuánto tiempo estaremos esperando. Así que nos quedamos sentados esperando y ni siquiera nos reconocieron. Un desperdicio de tiempo. La próxima vez que su lugar esté completamente reservado, escríbalo en sus redes sociales en lugar de hacer una cola de personas esperando sin un plazo determinado.

Estimado propietario, usted debe considerar hacer un poco de limpieza general para el restaurante como es asqueroso tan sucio. Sin embargo, no estoy seguro de cómo pasó el check in de la agencia estándar de alimentos. Fui a llevar ayer, el chef preparó mi comida estaba limpiando el piso. Dejó la fregona y comenzó a preparar la comida. No se molestó en lavarse las manos. Vi que no le hice ningún escándalo porque tenía prisa por conseguir mi comida para llevar. Tengo mi comida para llevar, que es Hummus , baba ghanouj , algunos pasteles y falafel y sándwich de salchicha picante, y Taubola libanesa aparte de ser insípido y en el microondas la porción del Hummus lo sirven en un pequeño recipiente mini por lo general sirven en él aceitunas y encurtidos para llevar sin embargo el Sr. Chef, puso como 10 pan para mi comida para llevar (microondas) ¿por qué necesito 10 piezas de pan para una cuchara de Hummus ! ! así que cuando llego a casa, estaba mascando chicle no comiendo alimentos. No comí nada de esta comida. Lo tiro a la papelera. Tan repugnante la comida parece que ha estado allí por... año. Mantente alejado de este lugar.

Posiblemente la peor experiencia que he tenido en un restaurante Vino ordenado solo para que el camarero traiga cinco selecciones cuestionando nuestra selección El vino no estaba frío Los principiantes se parecían a un almuerzo escolar, pero lo peor era el plato principal El pollo Schwarma era tan seco como el flip flop de ghandis y el kebab crudo en el medio le dijeron que el chef estaba fuera, por lo que una niña estaba cocinando Nunca regreses

Vraiment pas bon du tout jamais manger dans un snack aussi mauvais sans exagérer les assiettes sont reparties pleines et très très cher 20 livres l’assiette pour un snack

Comió aquí anoche 31 / 08 / 24 , horrible, nuestra fiesta de tres fueron ignorados tuvo que solicitar menú después de 15 minutos, la comida finalmente llegó para dos de nosotros cuando el tercero fue servido (hamburguesa de pollo) fue cremado, el personal era lo suficientemente amable, pero realmente no bien entrenado en el arte del servicio de mesa, cuando se le preguntó le dijimos al camarero hamburguesa estaba demasiado cocinado, todo lo que dijo fue que le diría al chef.
