Lebatish in Liverpool

Posiblemente la peor experiencia que he tenido en un restaurante Vino ordenado solo para que el camarero traiga cinco selecciones cuestionando nuestra selección El vino no estaba frío Los principiantes se parecían a un almuerzo escolar, pero lo peor era el plato principal El pollo Schwarma era tan seco como el flip flop de ghandis y el kebab crudo en el medio le dijeron que el chef estaba fuera, por lo que una niña estaba cocinando Nunca regreses

Fui allí por primera vez hace unas semanas y estaba bastante impresionado. El personal era servicial y amable y no tener que esperar demasiado tiempo para nada. Compartimos un par de meze para comenzar y luego compartimos una principal en el consejo de el camarero, mientras que la principal era grande no era enorme para compartir, pero era más que suficiente entre dos. La única crítica es que es caro, pero en general, la comida era estupenda y el servicio era bueno, así definitivamente volveré.

Tenía ganas de probar la comida después de leer algunas de las críticas y ver el restaurante desde fuera. Hicimos la reserva por teléfono - no disponible o en línea sitio web - estaba completamente decepcionado a recibir un txt mañana desde el restaurante cancelar mi reserva debido a algunos problemas técnicos. El texto estaba en inglés terrible, no estoy seguro si era generadas por ordenador! !

Para resumir, aburrido y aburrido. Era comida del molino y no valía el precio. Visitamos el viernes por la noche y fuimos la única mesa para la duración de nuestra comida, ¡algo inaudito en Liverpool! Como otros han comentado, no durará mucho con la calidad de los alimentos que se ofrecen. Es después de que los libaneses vayan a Bakchich en una calle audaz.

Mi sopa de pollo fuera del menú sólo estaba tibia. El plato de pollo platos principales era un poco sosa para mi gusto, pero mi compañero me gustó su sopa de lentejas y pollo. Una comida para dos por sólo £19. 95 era realmente buena relación calidad-precio y con la mitad de un lager tirado para gratuito era muy bueno. Las raciones eran lo suficientemente grandes. Nunca comimos toda nuestra comida, ya que ambas estaban bastante llenos. Nos dimos una oportunidad ya que no habíamos comido este tipo de comida antes.

The decor of the restaurant is wonderful. The reviews are a bit worrying and the menu did have items ticked off which wasn't great however for £10 the lunchtime deal is excellent value. The food was good and I'd definitely come again for lunchtime. There wasn't a problem during our lunch.

Originally had booked at HUS around the corner but that’s a different story I do love middle eastern food and was drawn in by the lunch special so decided to give it a go Food was pretty good we had a mix of hot mezze to start but was a bit disappointed by some items on the menu not being available However I was impressed by what we ordered although some dishes were under seasoned We then had two mains chicken shawarma with chips and moussaka with rice ,the rice however didn’t arrive ... (hopefully a teething problem) It’s also quite expensive £17 for basically a chicken kebab is very steep .. one small point ,this might seem picky but the music you play in a dinning room helps create an atmosphere,it would have been nice to have some Lebanese music playing in the background not little mix blasting out of the speakers

Myself and a friend had dinner in the restaurant last night for the first time. The waitress made us feel very welcome on arrival, offering a variety of gins and cocktails based on our taste. The restaurant is in a fantastic location and the interior is very clean, well decorated and comfortable. It was quiet at around 3pm but that was OK with us. As newbies to the restaurant we were guided through some recommendations and chose a variety of starters and two mains. The starters were unreal-lamb was succulent and tasty in a delicious wrap, my main was mixed grill which again was delicious and full of flavour. I loved the hummus and pitta bread too. The meals were a decent size, a main would not be too much for one person at all. The service was excellent, staff couldn't do enough for us and ensured that we were happy and satisfied during our time there. I will definitely be returning and would highly recommend. The food isn't as cheap as some places, though if your looking for something cheap and are driven by the cost more than the quality there are lots of fast food restaurants that may be better suited to you. As for some of the rude reviews below, they did not mirror our experiences today in anyway, the food was gorgeous and service was brilliant. Local businesses and families run this new restaurant-support it and give it a go!! :)

I have never been in a so-called quality restaurant to be casually told that 9 items on the menu were not available! This is at 5pm on a Friday night, so who knows what might be gone by 10pm.. the food was good but only at a ripoff price. Baksheesh in Bold Street may not be as plush but it's much better value.

Ate here recently and really enjoyed the food. Portions were big and the food was delicious. Beautiful hummus and chicken was excellent. The restaurant decor is opulent and the service was very good. Would definitely recommend and will return.

First of all, I must congratulate our waitress on the evening we visited Lebatish, Sophie was fabulous and far too good for this venue. Now for the food. My wife ordered the lamb and requested that it was served pink. I ordered the fillet steak and asked for it to be cooked medium rare. There was a bit of a longer than expected wait which was odd as there were only 3 other tables occupied. The food arrived and was clearly over cooked (way past well done), my fillet steak had morphed into 2 large portions of rump steak and had been so over cooked it could have been used to re-sole my boots. We were very hungry so tried to eat some of the food but it proved too much for us. The waitress, Sophie was clearly upset by having to deliver this plate of catastrophe and to avoid upsetting her further, we didn’t make too much of a fuss but did mention that food was very poor. When we got the bill, the manger had removed the charge for two glasses of the red wine and the waitress remarked that he (the manager) had noticed the steak was not a fillet. The manager never spoke to us and left everything to the very young and increasingly apologetic waitress. As other diners have remarked, this venue surely will disappear so other hungry diners will be spared the awfulness of this reviewer’s experience.

Superb value tasty food and a glass of wine for £10, possibly the best deal in Liverpool. The chicken soup is so tasty and the main wsaas spot on.

The food is quite nice, but massively overpriced for what you get. Don’t listen to the spiel the owner gives about the ‘huge mains portions’ and how you should share just a few mains amongst the group - they are a normal size and adequate for one person, except they cost about £18 each. Bakchich and Fattoush do basically the same thing but at 60% of the price. The service is extremely slow, on a saturday night there was our group (a table of 10) and one other table of around 4 people yet it took an hour for our starters to arrive. God knows what it’d be like on a busy night. The place lacks atmosphere, its a massive room with really bright lighting but there’s never anyone in there even at ‘peak’ times. It seems to be pitching itself as Lebanese fine dining but I think its misjudged the market, can’t see this place lasting the rest of the year.

Arrived Saturday night, place 3/4 empty. Half the menu crossed off. Ordered then waited over one hour for the starters to arrive, they didn't show so asked the waiters two or three times what was happening. Was told will be 2-3 minutes, people who had arrived after us were now getting their starters. Decided to give up and asked to see the manager on the way out. Told him what had happened, he asked what time we arrived told him 8 o'clock he looked at his watch which now said 9 o'clock and he just shrugged his shoulders. The table next to us decided after the starters to vacate as well as their food was disgusting and full of salt. Just opened but won't last a couple of months, completely ruined my birthday.

I went to Lebatish to try the food and to my surprise I finally found a restuarant in Liverpool that made lamb shawarma just the way I use to have in Lebanon. The lentil soup was also well balanced. The tahina sauce and garlic were a delightful companions for the shawarma. Not to mention the great hospitality and the restuarant's feel which was posh. In all, it's a place I highly reco mmend for a great dining experience.

We went on Saturday for a second visit in a group of 5, it was not over busy. We last called in on a weekday evening and had the 2 course fixed meal and drink offer which was very good, available up to 7pm. My wife had called in advance and was told that the same deal was on a Saturday, but when we asked we were told that the offer was not on a Saturday, explains why we booked a table at 6.40. We pressed on and ordered some drinks and starters, which were fine. It seemed that some dishes were not available, but we encountered some chaos with the mains. The first meal which arrived had not been ordered and two others were not hot, and had to be returned. We were offered meals from another table and my meal arrived well after the others, followed by another skewer of lamb much later. We were told that a vegetarian mousakka contained lamb, and we were told about more food on the way which we had not ordered!

Came here for one of my friends special birthdays and we all absolutely loved it! The service was great, friendly staff, the decor is beautiful inside and very unique. The food was cooked to perfection. I got the lamb chops and they came very well presented and cooked exactly how I like (very well done) as requested!! Could not fault this place in any way. I definitely will be returning here in the near future to eat some amazing food and drink some great Lebanese wine!!

We visited here on Saturday night, 4 of us for an early dinner. The owner was really welcoming whilst we waited for our friends to arrive, he offered us a taste of the different Lebanese wines to choose from, all of which were good! We were shown to our table and the menu was explained to us, a couple of things weren't available but this wasn't a problem as there was so much choice. We chose a couple of the cold mezze plates to start and our main courses. Everything was delicious really tasty, and the portions were huge! We didn't try a dessert as we were so full, all in all really good value tasty food. Please visit, the place has not long opened and is a little hidden from view well worth the trip!

booked a table for 12 for my birthday on 28th December we had a fab time the service food and wine was excellent. All 12 of us really enjoyed the managers recommendations

First time at Lebanese restaurant, Lebatish. Staff were very helpful. Menu was explained to us all before we ordered. We had an assortment of dishes, Starters and Mains. All very good and tasty. Exceptional food and wine.

Popped in here with a couple of friends for a post Christmas lunch. Had the lunch deal, great hummus and really tasty chicken kebab plus drink for under a tenner. Friendly staff, really well done out inside. Will be back.

Went there during what was admittedly their soft opening - half the food was off the menu (inlcuding the Lebanese wine, the reason were were there), the starters were overpriced, and the mains were tasty but obviously not hot enough when they came out. We were charged the full whack even though it was clear things had gone badly wrong. Shows total contempt for their customers, never going back again

Walking through Liverpool with the missus after doing a bit of Xmas shopping and seen a new restaurant had opened by the town hall Exchange flags called Lebatish,it was offering a lunchtime special for £9.95 included a glass of wine I posted a picture rather than explain in detail but its middle eastern cuisine, similar to Turkish in my opinion. So we gave it a go and it was fantastic, not sure how they can make money at that prices perhaps its to get people through the door? The wife likes this type of food as its low fat!. I'll definitely go back for the evening menu which looked really nice and reasonably priced for that part of town. The decor is amazing very high spec restaurant, the wall paper was the currency of Lebanon bank notes really cleverly done, big place, nice big tables spread out well worth a visit. I'm not sure you could get fish n chips and a can of coke for that price, and you would probably be eating it on the streets or at a bus stop!

Beautiful décor inside newly opened restaurant. Staff very polite and attentive nothing was too much trouble. Menu was fully explained to us all. Food was delicious and the portions are very large.
