Sofia's in Bristol, City of

Ate here last night 31/08/24 ,awful, our party of three were ignored had to request menu after 15 minutes,food eventually arrived for two of us when third was served (chicken burger)it was cremated,staff were friendly enough but really not well trained in the art of table service,when asked we told the waiter burger was overcooked,all he said was he would tell the chef.

My name is Luca, I’m a regular it is amazing. I am only 10 and I know Everything was so fresh and so tasty it leaves me so energised. The tabooula said it’s the best I’ve tried. My mums thinks the chicken is cooked to Perfection and she has the most amazing rosemary fries. We go here regular, the flavours are on point. Love it here, really handy for a cheeky midweek spontaneous meal out. We shared houmous to start, I had the falafel burger it was brilliant, my partner got the chicken strips and couldn't finish them - we didn't really need the chips!!! Nice service

Food was excellent, we shared the Sofia Houmous to start, and then we had the moussaka and the volcano burger for mains. All 3 dishes were amazing - very tasty, good sized portion and presented well. Service was warm and friendly and there was a nice ambiance in the restaurant. Definitely recommend based on today's visit.

Went to Sofia’s in Corstorphine for lunch today and it was really good. Wish I’d taken a photo for this review as the food was beautifully presented. Will definitely go back again!

£24 for a takeaway burger and felafel wrap is just terrible, if we had not been in a rush we would, and should have, gone elsewhere. Neither recommend nor return.

Booked online but they didn’t hold my booking. Left having to find somewhere else to eat. No apology given. Really disappointed.

We ordered a Pulled Lamb burger and Vefeta (veggie) burger, with sides of halloumi fries and Batata Harra. Hands down the best burger I've had in years, beautifully cooked, and the dressing was divine. The halloumi fries and Batata were mouth-watering, and my partner was delighted with the Vefeta - it's tricky to do a good veggie burger that isn't just a pattie made of minced veg, but they really pulled it off. All round, good value, great hearty wholesome food. Edinburgh has some top quality Lebanese places, and Sofia's might be top of the pops.

We picked the waitress's brains about the food and had a great family meal. Not a big menu or plush venue but what do you expect from street food. We loved what we got. Going back

We booked a table for our anniversary. Was a bit surprised to see on a Friday it was empty. Now we know why. The waitress barely could speak any English, even if she could hear us over the loud music. She asked us if we would like some water and when we said yes she brought it over. Did not ask if we would like any drinks. After 5 minutes she came over and asked if we would like to order. My husband and I ordered a share platter for a starter and I gave my main course. She then left saying it would take time to cook, totally ignoring my husband and daughter who were trying to order their main. Another gentleman came within 5 minutes with my main course, but nothing else and I was surprised and rather worried as it arrived so quickly. I explained to him with difficulty that we were still waiting on our starter, one of which we hadn't even been able to order, and he took my main away and came back with the two starters, which we ate. When we were waiting to order my husband and daughters main, my main arrived back to the table alone, I proceeded to taste it and found it very bland. My husband tasted it also and found it to be the same. We hardly touched it and asked the waiter to come and take it away. I explained we had not received or been able to order mu husband and daughters mains and that we would like to return the lamb as it was not to our taste , and when he asked me to explain I told him I found it bland. I paid the bill which included the lamb and we left. We will not be returning. A very sad anniversary dinner it was.It was quite expensive for what it was, and we do not recommend going there.

Was looking forward to trying Sofia's but probably our first and last visit. Food was good but not great however not impressed by the service. Firstly, the wine we ordered was no longer in stock but rather than tell us, just left the bottle in the wine cooler. I had to tell the young waiter it wasn't what we ordered and he agreed then came back to tell us it was a similar wine. I didn't agree and ordered a different one. Again, like the water we ordered and despite there being 6 members of staff, it was left for us to open the bottle and pour the wine. No sooner had we finished our starter when the plates were removed by the young waiter and the older one was right behind him with the main dishes, so no waiting time between courses yet the chefs could clearly see if and when we were finished. We were asked if we wanted the dessert menu but declined and I'm no time at all the bill was presented to us and very shortly after the payment machine. Must be a great place to go if you're in a hurry but we like to enjoy our meal and drinks

To have a restaurant so near me which can make such healthy, delicious, vegetarian/vegan food is a genuine godsend. I usually order some bread, hummus or baba ganoush, some tahina sauce and maybe some rosemary salted chips, and enjoy it every time as if it was the first, always more than a Chinese or Indian. You will never be able to eat the supermarket versions of anything you get here ever again, it's really that good. The delivery is fast, the kitchen staff always hardworking, the front of house nice too. So, so good, beautiful, brilliant food.

We had a family meal at Sofia's in Corstorphine and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was delicious and the service was very good. They were doing a steady business in people picking up takeaways on the evening we were there but this did not detract from our enjoyment at all as the atmosphere is informal and friendly.

Ordered a range of mezze to be delivered via Deliveroo. Was a wee bit later than stated but delivered with a smile and we didn't mind. Really good selection and tasted great! Plenty left for tomorrow too :-) Selection catered for diverse family tastes. Will definitely order again
