Shawa Lebanese Grill in City of London, Westminster

We went here on Saturday as a family of 4 after I ate here several months ago and really enjoyed it . After lining up I asked for the lamb burger meal that I had before and was told they no longer did this and it was now a wrap . Same price which worked out at £48 , they then proceeded to weigh the meat in front of you in a cardboard tub , i questioned why they were doing this to be informed they had changed all there operation of serving food . There was not enough meat there to fill a child . They then asked me if we wanted salad on our meals which on observation were all wrong anyway . 4 staff behind the counter and it honestly was complete chaos . In the end my patience was pushed to far and I told them to forget . The lad behind the counter just laughed when I told him it was ridiculous to weigh food in front of your customers . It’s a shame that costs have gone up but there are better business plans then Just knocking off 75% of the content and replacing it with chips . We will not be returning , if weighing of your food was done in a fish and chip shop or kebab shop in front of you I imagine there would be a riot . RIDICULOUS

Had a shawarma wrap which was mostly salad with very little chicken in it..... i will not be visiting this place again as it was a very disappointing experience.

Westfield Shepherd Bush, I bought a Chicken box Shawarma, very disappointed. I found only a bowl of chips with few pieces of Chicken. Ripped off!

Being Lebanese and craving shawarma’s after a family day out at Westfield we had the misfortune of eating at Shawa. The portion sizes for the Shawa boxes were a joke. Stuffed with 90 percent of chips and a few dollops of meat I was hugely disappointed. The meat was was not even fresh or even served hot. The wraps tasted nice but again the chicken and lamb were old and hard. We spent i total £45 which honestly I would rather have donated to charity rather than pay for what we we were served.

Visited Westfield Ariel Way today with my boys. Ordered two lamb shawarma boxes . Received food quickly , first impression hardly any meat on plate very small bowls like a child’s cereal bowl!! Chips barely filled bowl and the meat on top was about two teaspoons size portion and extremely oily and not good standard of meat. Should have taken back but did not want to make a scene as I thought this is the general portion size for this place. Unfortunately others have commented here too with the same experience. I think ‘TONY’ the founder needs to visit all his branches and take note as this is awful and robbing well earned families of their money. Real shame!

Went to westfield branch. Gave my son a re- heated dish as was served straight away so definitely wasn't freshly made and probably sitting there for ages. My bad as I really should have taken it back and didn't think. Ended up having a bad stomach so be warned.

We have ordered Shawarma lamb box but portion was too small, fries so oily, shawarma is crispy with lots of fat, no proper meat! Very disappointed. Staff are very friendly, helpful and nice.

Visited Bluewater branch for quick lunch, not bad for a change but the food not very tasty, cannot see this is very authentic Lebanese restaurant or food.

We went here in late November. Don't be put off by the bright colours and jazzy decor - they dim the lights in the evening and the atmosphere is excellent without being too loud. The staff are delightful.

Ci siamo imbattute in questo locale in una laterale di Piccadilly Circus e incuriosite ci siamo fermate. I prezzi sono davvero competitivi per essere così in centro e abbiamo davvero bene. Il personale è davvero gentile e il proprietario parla italiano. Davvero una bella sorpresa. Porzioni abbondanti e ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Buonissimmo l'hummus per antipasto e a fine cena il tè.

Delighted with this restaurant in the heart of London, both with the choices and prices. The decor is quaint and reminiscent of 1950's and 1960's, and it also sells sweets, jars of food, wine and brocade handbags! So you can scan the shelves as you eat! The food is delicious and service prompt. I will definitely go there again.

I ate at the Lebanese Grill in Westfield, Shepherds Bush and ordered a Lamb wrap. Was surprised when it came out as soon as ordered then I realised it was pre-made and had probably been sitting there for some time. The bread was so soggy it was sticking to the paper packaging and the meat was cold, hard and tasteless. What made it worse was what they make out is fresh juice and charged at those prices was nothing but juice from a carton. Will never eat there again.

Atmosphere was great, service friendly and we grabbed something to eat in 20 mins pre theatre. If you think therefore that I am being unfair just ignore me. I don't like seeing £5 prices and then realising that is for takeaway and by the time one eats in (in a hurry, taking up one of the huge number of empty tables) it leaps to £10 per head. The food was fine but every supermarket sells something pretty similar for a lot less. The choice of weird teas is impressive, the food is nice - it just sits in a weird place of not sufficiently cheap to be cheap and not of the right quality to cost what it does - in my humble opinion. Wish I had gone to Tesco Express and pic-nic-ed. Rufus

I have been last week with my family. I was the only one chooses this place. The rest got their food from other restaurants at the food court. The cashier suddenly left me in the middle of the order and started chatting with one of his colleagues inside. I was left for at least 20 minutes. The shawerma was not well cooked, cold and lacked the usual Lebanese taste.

Popped in as passing and we needed a pit stop. Mezze board and cheesecake were delicious. Nice coffee too. I would return for sure.
