The best shawarma in the UK. The quality of the meat is really good and their garlic sauce is just incredible. Really sad that now the shawarma wraps are only available for take away.

The food was really good, and we were having a nice time with our friends. But unfortunately, the staff asked us to leave as soon as we finished eating because they said other people were waiting for a table. It felt really rude and unprofessional. We didn’t feel welcome at all, which is a shame because the food was actually great. Very disappointing experience overall.

Shwarama is to small the large was basically the same meat portion as the regular really not worth £13. The size used to be much bigger so prices gone up portions got smaller.

The large shawarma feels like it has been reduced in size. Only advantage is shawarma is available till 6 am.

Used to be a great place! Clearly greed have now taken over! Visited yesterday and was given a menu with happy new year written on it and prices on it were at least 20% more than usually! Further more before entering they warned us that we can't order warps! I have 2 kids with me who just wanted to have sandwich's and while everyone around us were having wraps we were not allowed! It wasn't even dinner time, we entered at 16.15pm! Will mover visit again!

Absolutely delicious shawarma option in Edge ware road, nothing competes with it. Even when crowded it doesn’t take much time until your turn pulls up. Stays opened late, good food and amazing service, and never fails you, eclectically when you don’t wanna spend much money ahahaha.

I love this restaurant everything was too good

The man on the tills who’s wearing glasses overcharged me £1 for a normal chicken sandwich and when another person that he known was paying for his mix shawarma which costs even more then mine, he only charged him £8 which doesn’t make any sense, I feel betrayed when that happened, also the food is not that good the chicken was dry and the meat was full of fat and small bones.

I’ve given Cafe Helen multiple chances, hoping they’d improve, but every visit is worse than the last. As an Arab, I know what good shawarma tastes like and this is far from it. I specifically asked for it to be juicy yet they didn’t listen.They serve me dry food without the extra sauce I clearly request every time. But that man never ever listen

Where bad food quality meets horrible service ! Used to patron this shop during my student days and it was one of the best ; came back to the city for a visit and dropped by for a quick bite and it was one of the worst kebab that we ever had. We ordered large chicken (spicy) and a small lamb (non spicy) and both ended in the garbage bin after two bites exactly. Next door there is cafe Halen which is owned by the same people but you can’t eat your food at the cafe (?) weird stuff all around. And it was practically empty but next door (a Lebanese joint was full packed) guess need to move on from Helen and it’s legendary kebab of the past.

This was my first time in their restaurant. The food is very delicious and staff are very attentive. I highly recommend their mixed shawarma. I had shawarma in multiple restaurants, but their shawarma is more delicious.

Cafe helen 2... always. Best customer service. I know it's just shwarma at the.end of the day... but helen 2 makes it nicer with more love and attention.

Food was great, we ordered humous that came with complimentary bread, halloumi cheese and mix shawarma platter. The taste was good, however was a bit disappointed when the “platter” came out. It was just on one average plate, barely a platter!!!

The best Shwarma ever. Loved it back in the day and still love it. Prob only have it like once a year but fails to disappoint every time. I see they have expanded from a takeaway hut to a restaurant too so I’d like to try that

Authentic Lebanese food. Great value and a warm welcome.

I bought a large size shawarma which cost me £13 but it consisted less meat than a small doner from a Turkish restaurant. It might seem good for some people but I have worked in kebab shops and It was not impressive.They just put a load of sauces on it so that the customer just may be easily duped. Apart from this,the meat was not properly cooked.I had a very disappointing experience and won't recommend it to anyone.

I used to be a fan of this place for shwarma. Especially took my family there to impress them. Ordered in advance over the net. Wrote that i would not want spicy sauce, but requested for extra tahina and pickled in our meat shwarma. I asked at the collection if the order was understood, and the gentleman said yes. We took it away and on the way we opened and we had a dry shwarma with hardly any pickle and hardly any tahina. We bought almost q0 shwarma and the taste of the marinated meat was so subtle that it felt boiled.... It was very disappointing that despite all the checks the order was disappointing and even thinking about it the taste of the night's shwarma puts me off from going there again.

If you’re in edgeware road or nearby you must get a shawarma. Don’t waste your time eating anywhere else.

Not sure why but this time shwarma was quite dry and lacking pickles. They gave us extra pickles and tahini though as per my order but didnt actually put it inside the shwarma

It’s an ok shawarma. Not the best as many say here. I had the large lamb wrap which is: 1. Expansive 2. Not spiced enough 3. Narrow and long 4. I can’t see all their toppings which is a must in any shawarma place.

Best Shawarma I’ve had in a long time. Their spicy is pretty spicy so if you have a low tolerance, ask them to do a little spicy. But you definitely want to get a little bit of that chili sauce on there, it makes the whole thing.

Very tasty shawarma and a very positive experience. The meat and chicken portion in the mixed shawarma is very well distributed and packed with flavour. The staff unwrapped our shawarmas for us and showed us the traditional etiquette of eating a shawarma without spilling it. Very good experience 10/10

Your cafe served by and far the best Shawarma I've ever eaten. Treated so well by the staff while we were there, you cannot beat the service you all provided. The food was incredible, we had a mixed shawarma platter, ended up with a chicken shawarma wrap by accident (but I wanted it in the end so paid), the unleavened bread was fresh and tasted great to scoop up that delicious shawarma with the dips that went with it. The falafel, clearly made fresh, falafel that is actually green when you break it open, with just perfect seasoning. 5/5 for me, and will return! Thank you, this was my after hospital surgery celebration meal, I was craving some authentic shawarma, and you certainly didn't let me down! Massive love to you

Went yesterday and had 6 shawarma they just give us one garlic sauce what a cheap service they are giving us and also they charging more and reduce the quantity of meats and chicken inside the breads,this is the shame for us specially when we r Muslim! When the shop get more customers they start to charge more and reduce the amount of food all restaurants they do this and service get poor never go again as we felt shame front of our guest when we asked them that we need to sit inside, they said only take away and we eat while we r standing. How rude they are. Shame on them.

Its spaciousness is weak Provocatively, he ordered a shawarma. He said it had to come with appetizers. He couldn't order a shawarma, but the store was empty I said there are others who feed and welcome guests Unfortunately, I do not recommend it Abdo

Went to Helen after a long long time, the Shawarma was beautiful, although he forgot to put the chilli sauce. We ordered one Falafel wrap as well, he made it fresh and it was superb.

£20 for a shawarma without a drink is an absolute joke. Food was very very average.
