Me and my sister found this place randomly. The outside looked welcoming. Nice warm red colours. The service was lovely, served by beautiful middle eastern girls. The decor was nice and cosy and lightning just right, nice wooden oak tables, comfy chairs, very comfortable for eating experience. I ordered straight to main and have to say was the best shish taouk I've eaten, the chicken pieces were tender. I had the option to eat it in a wrap but declined. The cream offered with it gave it a nice zesty flavour. My sister ate the chicken stew which was equally divine, which comes in traditional silver pots, and rice. We were given olives and pitta bread free complimentary, which was pleasant to eat also.

We ate here last night and were very pleasantly surprised due to its location meaning "potential tourist trap". The houmus was the best we've tasted, extremely creamy and nutty. The soujud sausages were quite exceptional too. The lamb shish as main was of a decent standard and the rice with minced lamb was absolutely first class with a wonderfully spiced flavour. Portions were huge. The Lebanese red wine was surprisingly great too. A few things on the menu they no longer had and perhaps the service was a little rushed but these are minor gripes. I would happily recommend this place.

We had the set meal for two in the early evening. The starters and main dish were fine but when we asked for the desert (part of the set meal) we were told that they had run out at lunchtime. I think this was a bit poor really. They should have told us this before we ordered. I was looking forward to some Lebenese sweets. When we highlighted this to the waitress she said she would give us free tea or coffee but then charged us when we received the bill. Not very impressed. We won't be going back.

This Lebanese restaurant serves delicious food, huge portions and for reasonable prices. We were wondering around Leicester Square area before our show and found this restaurant on Irving Street. We shared the set menu for 2 and were stuffed at the end of the appetizers. The service was kind, and prompt. They obviously know how to time the end of your meal with the beginning of the shows. But we were not rushed either. I've never bothered to write a review before, but I was so impressed with our meal, I felt I had to.

Love the food here. Came here a few days ago and they wouldn't do the shwarma wrap! Apparently, they can make a normal shwarma but not a wrap because they are too busy! If you want a wrap, you have to go to their takeaway next door!? What a load of nonsense!!!!!! Rubbish customer service!! Went to a different shwarma place a couple of doors down. They were even busier and had even more seating but they did shwarma wraps! Very disappointed. They have lost a loyal long standing customer! Their customer service is appalling! Won't be going back!

Excellent Stay at Holmes Hotel – Outstanding Service! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Holmes Hotel, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. A special shoutout to Ben at the reception—he went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and seamless. His warm welcome, efficiency, and attention to detail truly made a difference. Whether it was assisting with check-in, providing recommendations, or handling requests, he did it all with a smile. The hotel itself is clean, stylish, and well-maintained. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with great amenities. The location is perfect, making it easy to explore the city. Overall, I highly recommend Holmes Hotel to anyone looking for a top-notch stay with outstanding service. I will definitely be returning!

Been going to this place since mid 2000's but a recent visit has highlighted that this place has gone stale in all aspects. Spent nearly £50 on 4 chicken schwarma, plate of humous with naan, plate of chips and 3 cokes. Schwarma's were bare, dry and bland, chips used to be chunky but now MacDonald size and over fried, cokes were £2.50 a can (need I say more) and finally humous was nice but the naan were stale and hardened like cement. This establishment is now resting on it laurels and old goodwill. Old customers, like me, will leave knowing how good it used to be. Customer service from a prison canteen, overpriced drinks and state of the toilets downstairs recently was overlooked but now, crucially, food quality has left the building. Sadly for me, time for me to move on from this establishment.
