Absolutely wonderful food. Sushi is top quality, beautifully hand crafted and presented and the flavour combinations are superb. We enjoyed our dinner so much we went back for lunch the following day!

We went for dinner on Friday last week, the food was excellent, and the service was too. We are both veggie and so tried pretty much every vegetarian dish on the small plates menu. The food was very tasty, maybe a bit too fussy if I was going to be over critical. The menu was small plates, a bit like tapas. I have to say it seemed a bit pricey, especially as it was just veg. Overall the experience was really nice, the venue is great too and in a great location for a pre dinner drink in one of the Ouseburn pubs. Would definitely recommend for vegetarians, but be prepared to spend some cash. Also, would be good to see some veggie options on the large plates menu.

Food is always stunning, my partner and I have been eating with TAO since they opened and are yet to be disappointed . Special mention to Steven - Lovey guy whose service is brilliant. Although we love sitting in at tao we often opt for take out and never have to wait long and the food is always still of a brilliant quality - Highly recommend the Korean Brisket Ramen and Korean Chicken Donburi YUM 🍜🍤🍚

Called in for lunch on good Friday, we both elected to go for the bento box, I went for the kaiso salad, onigiri, cucumber & avocado uramaki and teriyaki chicken. Everything was delicious, the maki and onigiri were particularly good, also tried some of the karaage chicken which I would highly recommend. As well as the food being excellent the staff were engaging and eager to please, as well as making a good drink recommendation.

I ordered tonkotsu ramen with extra grilled chicken. Tonkotsu ramen tastes really lovely, especially the pork, while the grilled chicken is not as good as the pork. I also love the takoyaki! Be aware that there is 10% service charge

Today, around 7:30 pm I went to this shop to get my dinner on the way back and there was this guy, blonde and short hair, who ask us to wear masks which unfortunately we didn't have with us because my girlfriend, my brother and I we were out for a walking with no plans to go in any shops. So it was a last-minute thing. Anyway he raccomend us to bring mask next time and so far nothing bad but we noticed how his voice has changed and how much annoyed he was, we noticed his body language was so bad to let feel us uncomfortable. When my girlfriend accidentally put a box back in a wrong place he came out straight away just to show her that she made a mistake. I understand it's hard time for all, maybe we wronged about not bring us with us our masks but It wasn't intentionally but this is not the right way to treat your customers. Best regards

Vine aquí por el cumpleaños 18 de mi hija solo éramos 5, y el servicio fue absolutamente terrible. Nunca he recibido un servicio tan malo, la camarera fue tan grosera. En cuanto a las bebidas pedimos vodka arándano rojo dos veces, y en ambas ocasiones fueron devueltos ya que no había vodka en él. La segunda vez la camarera discutió con nosotros y dijo que lo hizo ella misma y que definitivamente era un vodka doble (todos en nuestra fiesta probaron este “vodka cranberry”). Luego procedió a traer un vodka doble a mi hija de 18 años para que lo oliera, y luego lo vertió en la copa que ahora se convierte en un vodka cuádruple. En esencia, ella ya puso un doble, sin embargo, literalmente se podía simplemente probar el vodka en este punto. La comida no podía culpar era hermosa y abundante, compromiso / entretenimiento estaba en el lugar.

Food was great and staff were amazing it was just freezing inside the shop and i even had 3 layers on. Some heating and it would be 5 star!

Dropped in pre theatre with no reservation (on a Friday night) staff were accommodating and friendly, which always makes for a good start to the dining experience. Maitre d' was a delight! We will return as we were rushing for the start of our show, which was a shame as the food was delicious, ambiance wonderful (cosy, background music didn't overpower conversation, subdued lighting- but I could still see the menu!). The mixologist at the bar creates drinkable art and every single server was attentive and personable. More places like this In Newcastle please. Book to avoid disappointment. Thank you for a lovely start to our evening.

Food was UNREAL and the service is so good. Me and my cousin and friend went out to eat lunch and i will definitely have another visit. Overall, best Asian restaurant I’ve ever visited

La limpieza era muy muy pobre y estropeó lo que por lo demás era una buena experiencia. Los baños estaban disfrazados, se lo mencioné al personal y no se hizo nada!
