Fenwick food hall is probably the best place to buy in Newcastle. The cakes they provide are of fantastic quality and always consistent. I’ve been buying from here for special occasions for numerous years and never disappoints. I want to say a massive thanks to Stef in particular. She always remembers and looks after me. Her service is second to none and is a huge credit to the Fenwick team. Thank you for always making my choice easier and helping me whenever I buy.

What a magical stay we’ve had at Fenwick Retreat! From the peaceful sounds of nature and birdsong, to the unforgettable sunsets and relaxing evenings by the fire with a glass of wine—every moment here has been a joy. The cottage is simply perfect: spotlessly clean, incredibly comfortable, and filled with everything we could possibly need to feel at home. We loved waking up in the cozy upstairs bedroom and cooking in the beautifully equipped kitchen. Every little detail has been so thoughtfully arranged. A heartfelt thank you to Claire and Graham for being such wonderful hosts—your warmth and hospitality truly made our stay special. We leave with full hearts and beautiful memories… and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

Fantastic food hall, even found Clarin's spa by accident, which was a treat. Thank you Abbey fir a wonderful facial. Everything you need under one roof in a clean and logical array. All staff helpful and friendly.

One of the oldest and remaining super stores in Newcastle City centre worth a visit especially nearer Christmas for it's stunning festive window displays.

(Do not buy pokemon card bere) Never thought I'd ever have to leave a review like this but it has generally up set me and pissed me off. Had to get a refund for pokemon card my boyfriend bought as we realised they were resealed, number 1 rules about selling pokemon is to DO NOT SELL RESEALED especially at full price. it should of never been full price due to this and we were not informed that they were resealed before buying and the lady we spoke to about this gave a horrible attitude towards my boyfriend while he was talking to her (which she barely let him practically raising her voice and not letting him speak). If it wasn't for me speaking for him, she would of kept ignoring him and not listen, absolutely disgusted at her attitude. There was no need for it as both me and my boyfriend were calm and were just wanted a reason on why they were resealed and a refund. This whole situation felt racial in a way as my partner is south American, and the fact she kept interrupting and ignoring him every single god damn time he tried to speak almost as if shes looking down on him. I am severally frustrated as it shouldn't of taken for me to have to speak for him JUST FOR HER TO LISTEN AND EVENTUALLY GIVE THE FULL REFUND(I'm white british). And then proceed to say in front of us "we'll just re-seal and sell them, they sell fast" There was absolutely no need for this if she just let him explain in the first place

The staff were very friendly and helpful as my wife is visually impaired, plus had a quick glass of wine.

The Mrs had a fabulous shopping experience. Staff very helpful and store imaculate. Food hall out of this world. Whisky department particularly enjoyed by myself!

Shame on you! We will be filing the necessary legal actions against you and your company. I am a doctor here in the Philippines and my family are group of professionals and we will see to it that you will pay the damage! You have caused so much distress on my sister's mental health. We will not allow you and your company to destroy my sister’s reputation.

Took my wife to the coffee shop/ patisserie for a birthday treat. The coffee was lukewarm and the tiramisu was dry and completely tasteless. Some treat! The staff were very good however and gave us a refund.

Himolla leather electic/remote recliner purchased October 2021 Newcastle upon Tyne circa £2200- inferior quality leather wear and material construction, failed power pack and unstable chair back jammed within 3 years - now unusable

Avoid this Department Store. My sister was harrassed just because she forgot to remove the tag on a bag she bought back in November last year. She was accused of stealing even when she insisted she can provide proof she bought the bag in the same store. Imagine how stressful it is to enter a store with the same bag and being accused of stealing the same bag while inside the changing room. They didn’t even give my sister the chance to prove herself as they were already suspicious and insistent that she stole it saying there was missing inventory. I would never risk going into a store where you could be potentially accused of theft based on pure suspicion and false narratives. No apology was even given. Screams arrogance and racism! My sister felt like they were looking down on her just because she is Asian. I wonder if you treat your all your customers like this.

Went into the food hall today and saw 'the juice bar' just inside it and was intrigued by the 'ginger shot' advertised at £3.50. Decided we would try it. Was given a sealed plastic bottle - it wasn't served in a shot glass or anything... Paid for it contactless - turned out I paid £3.85, only spotted that later in my banking app... Drank the 'ginger shot' (it was good!) from the bottle as we browsed. Returned the empty bottle to the juice bar. As we continued to browse, saw the selfsame bottle on sale in a fridge for £1.99. If we'd been served the bottle at the juice bar with a glass or even in a glass, I would still query the price, but I just feel completely ripped off. We got some very good bargains in the Christmas sale as we continued round the food hall which makes me feel a little better, but I don't recommend the juice bar. I wish now I had said something at the time.

Not happy went to cheese counter my friend asked if she could try the nettle cheese shocked it was thinner than cling film . When we said we can't taste anything he looked at us not intrested and said you can buy a bit to try . Then poor man on the curry spices you make up was absolutely loaded with cold blowing his nose no sink to wash his hands and no gloves . Poor hygiene poor customer service on cheese counnter.

A fantastic store. As per the usual annual Xmas window display that attracts massive attention from the public was again a sussess with family's and their children. The store is huge and has several floors with all the top designer brands. A tad expensive on some items , other departments do offer discounts .

Great shop with plenty to see, but if you're a person of color, a particular security guard will follow you closely, watching your every move as if you might run out to steal a box of boxers. Don't go unless you're white and innocent enough.

I had to pop into town for Christmas shopping trip, they have a Clarins section so I headed there. A large department store set out over a number of floors, there's disabled acccess and lifts to all floors and they have department for everything from clothes & toys to furniture & fragrances, and more.The shop is clean and tidy & was quite bust but not overly so. I always find the shop assistants helpful and after roughly 10 mins I left with my gifts in hand.

Been a while since I last visited but my word this department store has had a glow up! So much so money uncontrollably leaves you! Staff were extremely helpful and friendly & amenities were clean - the food hall is a gem again & women's wear has a brilliant selection..my only note was I was buying valentine's gifts & there were no gift bags not even in the basement.. but what a joy it was to visit here - nostalgic ❤️ Christmas decorations are so stunning & the gifts area in the basement is 🫶🏼

I used to be a regular at Fenwick until they decided to go so up-market. It's now really expensive and the design and layout on the beauty floor is awful. Such a shame as it used to be my go-to shop in town for everything.

Mother Mercy Bar in Fenwick's is a perfect place to relax when out shopping. Wonderful cocktails and lovely staff. Try the French 75!

Lovely Christmas window display 🎁

One of the highlights of my trip to the north east was witnessing the 12 days of christmas window display at Fenwicks and wow it didn not disappoint. They really put where I live to shame because down here in Plymouth the christmas decorations look like they've been bought from poundland and no thought or care given to how they were hung up it's depressing here at Christmas time so to see this years window at Fenwick filled me with christmas spirit that was sadly missing. My friend who came with me 2 years ago gave me specific instructions to find fenwicks and show me their window and she was not disappointed. This is what Christmas can be like when people make an effort it's special and magical.

Went in yesterday for a Xmas gift for my wife. The Dior assistant could not have been more helpful. No stress, no pressure. She was amazing and a credit to your store. Thank you Abby/Abbie, you're a star.

One of the most magical and gorgeous places to go for Christmas shopping and Christmas mood!

Up from Liverpool visiting grandkids, so went into town to browse Xmas markets and went to.look at the window displays....such a long queue so grandkids didn't want to wait so unfortunately didn't get a close look, but what we saw was brill....think if they removed the rope system it would be better as people would just continue to move normally giving more a chance for a closer view

We went to see the Christmas windows with the kids. There was a short queue snaking round to get a close view. I was rather underwhelmed, as the display seemed to be better in previous years, but the experience itself was altogether pleasant

We had the best shopping experience today like every time from Karen at Kilian / Frederic Malle perfumes , I like to shop and bring my friends always to Karen because she’s a great expert with highest level of experience and elegance, she makes any customer experience the joy of buying a whole world in bottle of perfume, I always like to come back because I know she is always there and I will always leave with joy and happiness in my heart and excited for my purchase, thank you Karen ❤️

Love Fenwick's At Christmas...going back to childhood memories ❤️

Visited to go to the Santa on the Roof experience. What a treat. My grandchildren really enjoyed it. Loved the way you go into different parts, meeting the elves along the way, going outside to see the snow covered Christmas trees, dancing and throwing snow, and sitting in the Five Elves cafe. Santa looked great. The plate decorating was fun, the hot chocolate and cup cakes were delicious, and the Santa’s shopping was really funny. Excellent value for money.

What should I see? I work there and go every day. It is a Cyrillic store with nice things! It has changed because they have done a renovation

Visiting friends and they organised lunch at Fuego’s. Had the tortilla and it was delicious. Spent hours after in the shop spending far too much money (but managed to get a fair bit of Christmas shopping done). Loads of choice and the staff were really helpful and friendly

Ate at the terrace Restaurant on the third floor but think it's quite expensive with small portions and service wasn't exactly very friendly from the ladies on the counter.

Was only in the food hall of this lovely shop due to time limits. It was a fabulous place which l would love to visit again
