The best restaurants serving Italian food in Glasgow and Surrounding

My partner says this was one of the best pizzas he’s had in a long time and he has very high standards & eats a lot of pizza! They were the only place in the area open on Bank holiday Sunday, luckily we didn’t have to book, but it was obvious this place is popular and for good reason! Had 2 delicious pizzas, didn’t take long, service was friendly, menu was varied plus you can make your own pizza if none of the options suit you.

Mi abuelo y mi mamá eran dueños de este restaurante y era un lugar muy especial para crecer. Fue mágico y mi abuelo lamentablemente falleció recientemente. Nunca te olvidaré La banca y todo el gran personal y recuerdos que tuvimos. xoxo

Food was excellent went for 2 course lunch and asked for poppadoms and spicy onions knowing it would be extra charge but thought £7 was bit much! Charged 1.99 for mango chutney we didn't ask for £1 each poppadom! Food was excellent thought but won't get spicy onions next time

Now called Mamma Mia was quiet as we were there at 5pm on a Thurs night but still had a few tables in food was fabulous and service was amazing

The best pizza I have ever had!!! So fresh and well baked!! So many vegetarian options. The service is very quick! No wonder such rush always

The pizza is still tasty but I felt more ( as the Americans would say) nickel and dimed. To explain- the place was once cheap and cheerful. Now, however, 3 of us spent £120 for a pizza each, 2 starters between the 3 of us, one cocktail and one glass of wine each. Example of a slightly greedy approach...£2.50 extra for a wee pot of garlic mayo which is just too much. House wine now £25 per bottle. So go by all means but your bill will mount up unless you have only a Margherita pizza and a glass of water and who is going to do that!!??

A real gem. Superb seafood plus, great service and reasonable prices.

This place is brilliant for a special occasion and thanks to the management for the complimentary drinks.This restaurant all types of food and the staff look are excellent.

It was an amazing restaurant that had a good layout and was colourful The staff were friendly and made you feel welcome The food was perfect and delicious a credit to the owner.🤗

Siempre excelente comida y servicio. Mi único comentario sería que la crema agria espantosa es horrible. El susto del cóctel fantástico Yo recomendaría el daiquiri de fresa.

Este restaurante italiano era precios muy razonables para la cena - buen servicio. Nuestro grupo pidió la Focaccia Pomodorok, Arancinia Salsiccia, Trofie Al Pesto, Lasaña, Pappardelle Ragu, Linguine Gamberi, Pappardelle Funghi y el vino ripasso. Lo recomendaría.

Wonderful staff, attentive without being overbearing - happy to give recommendations and were accommodating of our guest with hearing issues and moved us to a quieter area without fuss. Wine reasonably priced and all served by the glass! Only negative was main courses took a while to come out but we weren’t in a rush We will be back!

El mejor sandwich italiano fuera de Italia. Deliciosas combinaciones de carne y queso con deliciosas salsas. El pan es abundante y masticable. Maravilloso!
