La Casa in Glasgow City

Now called Mamma Mia was quiet as we were there at 5pm on a Thurs night but still had a few tables in food was fabulous and service was amazing

The owner was caught abusing a female at the rear of premises ,aggressively shouting and pushing her around and punching her car as she tried to drive away, when confronted by another male he said he was owner and it was his woman and he can do what he likes .. Best avoid going there ,the world can do without these kind of people

January 2023 Thursday lunchtime. Virtually deserted restaurant and sub zero temperature inside. One waitress who couldn't really cope with taking a telephone payment and serving simultaneously. Home made soup watery. Chicken pieces like concrete and main course chicken tough. Main course meatballs and pepperoni and rice had to be returned for reheating. Three years ago freshly cooked food and good service with a varied three hour lunchtime menu.

It's our 12 years olds birthday today so me my partner and kids decided to visit La Casa for the first time and the food was absolutely fantastic, customer service was very good. We will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommend.

As someone who’s been to Italy on many occasions, it is a disgrace to call this place an Italian restaurant. Bolognese tasted like it was made with dolmio sauce and the pizza was overcooked with the worst base I’ve ever tried. Would never recommend going anywhere near this place.

Went here a fir the 2nd time all I can say I won't be back . I think it has been taken over food not as nice very dry over cooked and over priced anything we ordered they didn't have on the menu .

Lovely quiet little place with frustration staff and lovely food

Hi i was in restaurant To-Night was not happy at all with o,ur meal my Grandaughter toto ok us out for a meal because she passed her driving test was a lot of money for her to pay £60 for chicken you could hardly cut and pink told thewaiter he said because it had bone in it ??? ,would not recommend this restaurent ,my grandaughter should be refunded for this .

After getting a take-away from here When I got home noticed that portions size was shocking and when I tried there some of "homemade" sauce it was the same as supermarket brand stuff So when I phoned up and spoke to a "manager" He didn't like the fact that when I said I been quite a few times to dine-in and wasn't the sauce.... The "manager" started get very angry and using "colourful" language Very unprofessional

La casa was recommended to us and did not disappoint! We had a family meal and everyone agreed the food was delicious. Highly recommend the spicy arriabita mussels. The portions are big and the service was great. Look forward to going back.

Lovely restaurant, staff are friendly the food is delicious. The only fault that let them down, was no alcohol at lunch time. Looking forward to a glass of wine with my lunch, but not licensed to serve alcohol until 4pm.

I was there last sunday 13th march with my son. Food was absolutely delicious and everything it was nice and fresh. Highly recommended and definitely comeback soon.

went to la casa this evening ,sadly this will be my last visit, was seated in the top left hand corner ,it was very drafty asked if there was another seat the waitress said over there and took our drinks to a table in centre of restaurant we were happy with that even though the waitress had an attitude ,ordered starters and drinks no issues ,although it was still cold in the restaurant something thats not a usual occurrence,as i looked around 80 percent of customers had there coats on eating there meal,ordered another drink and mains ,my partner ordered salsiccia pasta it has italian sausage and peperoni mains arrived my partners pasta arrived no peperoni or sausage just pasta he pointed it out to another waitress as he was telling her ,the other waitress the one with the attitude grabbed it off the table without a word ,she came back and said they didnt have the pasta he wanted what does he want no apology nothing he ordered something else, her attitude was disgusting he got a sunday roast ,burnt ends of a joint and hard potatoes ,he didnt eat any,never again will we go here, we eat here regularly and also get deliveries as we stay local thats two meals we have had ruined i get people make mistakes but for me its how you deal with it and she dealt with it horribly the other waitress is fine ,young woman long hair .the older one with short blonde hair is awful loyal customers lost im afraid

Have had family dinners on many occasions and have celebrated Christmas in this restaurant. I cannot fault the food as it is first class, however trying to secure a booking during the Festive Period was a joke. I first enquired early October, gave my details and enquired about the deposit. I was informed that the manager would contact me. Never heard anything despite another phone call and two emails. Ten days leading up the Christmas I was contacted about my booking that never was. Unfortunately declined as this is no, way to treat customers, regulars ones at that. Not sure if it is under new management as we are usually made to feel special. We went elsewhere and enjoyed a fantastic Christmas.

Friends took me here for my birthday. Was certainly not disappointed. Food was absolutely delicious and staff were very friendly, professional and efficient. Would thoroughly recommend this place. Will definitely be back.

Just an outstanding wee restaurant!

Went for a lunch with my girlfriend and couple of friends. I had a lasagne and my girlfriend had la casa pasta. Both amazing! Will definitely come back again.

Not enough stars for this place food is delicious I've never had anything that I've not liked. My other said pizza's are the best he's ever tasted & he is a massive pizza fan.

We came here for a family birthday and everything was excellent. The staff are lovely and even though they were busy we were well looked after. The food was beautiful and we hope to return soon.

Food was beautiful service was 1st class it was clean tidy and only 5 minutes from home which was good and I would go again that's fir sure the kids loved it aswell as there was a good choice of food for the kids to choose from

So so, was here for a lunch , the starter was great, however the pizza was not great, the pepperoni was burnt which gave it a bad aftertaste not to my liking, I've had other pepperoni that was a little burnt without the bitter aftertaste so not sure why type they used here, not what you expect from an Italian, other meals looked ok

I've ordered food from here maybe half a dozen times since it opened . The foods always been really good and the staff very pleasant. Placed an order last night on just eat for risotto, a pizza and bruchetta . We received an email that the order had left the restaurant ( I live 7 mins away ) after half an hour it turns up and the girl explains she couldn't find the house which I found hard to believe with sat nav ? Tbdshe did apologise so I checked the food and it was hot enough ( just ) to accept . So to the food , bruchetta was soggy and tasteless , pizza was tasteless and the rissoto was just ok . Maybe an off night but when your charging 25 quid for a starter and 2 mains a restaurant shouldn't really have an off night . Ok delivery was included in that and the just eat service charge but still seemed expensive for the quality of the food we received. Disappointed

Food was nice. Missing my puddings but when i tried to contact the store, its phone was turned off for more than an hour. They didnt mark my order as complete on just eat either, so i couldnt do anything through the app. No items and no refund. Terrible customer service.

Amazing macaroni and cheese as ever,spaghetti bolognaise beautiful best patner has had, delivered piping hot ,and loved the thank you message, but really thank you for keeping open and delivering amazing food, also tiramasu no words aaah.

A lovely Italian restaurant nearby for a quick bite at lunch or a leisurely meal in the evening. Owned by Italian's which is a nice change believe it or not. Staff are friendly and being Italian myself I can say with good authority the food is delicious. If you have any dietary requirements the Chef is more than happy to oblige. There's both Italian and English speaking staff. So it's nice to chat in either language.

This is THE most fantastic local restaurant ever; we are so lucky to have this gem within 7 mins of our house - our waistlines expanded when we discovered how amazing all the menu items are. Their deals are amazing, their prices incredible, their food is just wonderful, but the service is by far the most incredible - personal, passionate, and perfect. Kasia and her team truly are the loveliest people. So thoughtful, kind, and treat everyone like VIPs.

Different staff today but again lovely friendly service. We booked for two couples for 4pm,allowed to sit beyond the the regulated time. Again lovely food and great drinks. Will be back soon.

Wonderful food. Very tasty, proper Italian food at reasonable prices! The desserts are incredible. Much better than the chains that people often order from! Definitely worth a visit or a takeaway! You won't be disappointed!

Fabulous food and service. Staff were complying with all Covid regulations so we felt safe and relaxed enough to enjoy our meal. This is a great wee restaurant where the staff can't do enough for you. Highly recommended.

La Casa was highly recommended to me so I decided to try it. I can definitely vouch for their takeaway food. Everything I’ve ordered has been delicious. Minestrone soup, Lasagne, spaghetti carbonara, mixed salad, Nutella cheesecake! I plan on dining in the restaurant for dinner on the next visit. Really looking forward to it.
