What a gem of a place in central paisley so glad we booked for a nice meal, food was lovely, Rachel the owner is lovely and made us feel like friends had a great wee evening highly recommend this place, will of course be back

I had booked a table for four for my daughter’s birthday dinner. As soon as you enter you can feel the friendliness of the place. I loved the decor… the bar itself is a work of art! We were greeted and seated by Rachel, who is one of the owners I believe, and was a marvellous hostess. I ordered the paté (homemade and delicious 😋) followed by the seafood tagliatelle, which was so tasty that I would’ve had seconds if my stomach allowed! The portions are definitely not small! Lorenzo the head chef also appeared several times from the kitchen to converse with customers which I think is lovely. Our table was booked from 6pm and it was quite quiet but by the time we left around 8pm it was really busy. Our bill came to around £25 per head and that was for 2 starters, 4 mains and a side, 2 desserts and 6 soft drinks. Very pocket friendly. If you are looking for authentic Italian cuisine then this is the place to go. I will definitely be back.

This was our second visit here but it wasn’t as good as our first. The mozzarella garlic bread is very nice but the mozzarella sticks appear smaller than last year and we got less side salad and half the amount of sauce which is disappointing. The pizza was large and fairly tasty. The lasagne was tasty but for the small portion, a bit overpriced. The risotto really let them down. It was very expensive but the portion wouldn’t have filled a toddler! I’ve never been served such a tiny meal! I had to eat it very slowly to pretend there was more in the bowl. They should be ashamed. The chocolate fudge cake was lovely. The cheesecake was ok. Again, smaller portion than last year and charged us £1 extra for 2 slivers of strawberry and a hint of Prosecco drizzle without being told of the extra cost. We wouldn’t have bothered. The service was very good and friendly but we’ll never return here.

I had a delightful experience at La Banca Italian while visiting from the US. The staff was incredibly welcoming, enhancing the warm ambiance of the restaurant. Their attentiveness and friendly service made the evening truly enjoyable. As for the food, each dish was a burst of authentic Italian flavors. From the pasta to the desserts, every bite was a culinary delight. Spaghetti and meatballs. Mozzeralla fritta, and chocolate cake were all amazing. Highly recommend La Banca Italian for a memorable dining experience with exceptional service and delicious cuisine!

Great night out - restaurant having a tough time due to a KP being missing, had to wait for main but they got there, everything was smashing! Love it! In again, no booking but they managed to fit us in, looked after us, we had a great time, love this local Italian restaurant, come on in! Food good, far too noisy with staff answering phone, cutlery being dried and dropped into a container. Couldn't hold down a descent conversation with my sister. This has to be done in the back shop. Enjoyed the food, but not the noise that went with it!!!!

I went out for dinner last night and honestly the food was amazing. Best calamari I have had in the uk. The tiramisu was amazing and the special cocktail in offer was as well. Staff were lovely and very helpful. The decor was really nice and the vibe was great, was really good to see such a busy restaurant with so many happy customers. I would recommend people to go here to try their amazing authentic Italian food.

Food quality was very poor, had prawns to start size of my thumbnail, pasta sauce was like soup, garlic focaccia was the only nice thing about the food! Staff very good, stuck in the corner between two tables that had to squeeze past to get into, also way over priced for the quality.

I really wanted to like it, but it was just very average. Initial impressions of the decor weren’t great, hoped the food would make up for it, and again just very average. The staff were nice no issue there. Other notes, the black pepper on a very strange looking cheap plastic trolley isn’t appetising, the dirty dishes going through the toilet door ditto. One of the strangest things was the chef seemed to turn the lights off when he finished cooking? So the whole room lit up and dimmed, on and off all night. I wanted to enjoy it so much but to put it shortly “meh” Sadly 1st and last time i think.

What a perfect cosy place! Superb food we had the prawns and pate to start, the amazing salmon and milanese for mains and shared a delicious marmalade lemon and orange cheesecake for dessert. Phenomenal. A lovely primitovo to share and just perfect service. Must be around 30 covers and 2 staff foh who know how to make people welcome and give a great relaxed and authentic service. Food was like lovely home made italian. Faultless. Seek it out. We had been at another place in Paisley and left because there was violence! This place should be sought out. Very reasonably priced too! Thanks a million for saving our night.

LaBanca is a lovely place to go for a bite to eat. The atmosphere is good and the staff could not be nicer. They are so attentive and kind towards the additional needs of my son. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Best team around not to mention the food is delicious!

The service we received was second to none Rachel and her staff were 5* and couldn't have asked for better service or staff would highly recommend people try this place brilliant with children aswell

The food was actually really good, portion sizes were generous. It's maybe a little pricey for where it is and it was pretty cold in the restaurant but the person serving was lovely, would definitely go back

I visited La Blanca with my husband. We have been several times and the meals and service is always perfect. I have never given a review before but after our last visit I felt the staff had gone over and above with patience and service with a very large group of people that I had to write this review. My husband and I arrived just before the large table got their main courses. As we looked at the menu the staff started to serve the mains to the group. The waitress called out Risotto Montecarlo four times before a hand went up. She had walked the length of the table calling it out to no response. On her third time of walking the table a hand went up. She came back another twice with the exact same meal with this happening. All the time smiling. I personally felt this was extremely ignorant of the group as they clearly saw her with the meals in hand and ignored her. The last meal to be served was again. Risotto Montecarlo. Over half the table had ordered it, again she walked and recalled the table being ignored and as she went to the end of the table a very ignorant young woman laughed and said “oh I suppose that’s mine”. She then took our order with a smile and I said I didn’t understand how she could put up with that behaviour and she just smiled and said it was part of what she did. When they finished their meals they sat talking with no food or drinks whilst other people arrived to eat at the table they were now occupying for a chat. I have to say the staff were so friendly and professional which is a real credit to them as the party was oblivious to the waiting guests. The restaurant was extremely busy and every table was filled. It was obvious that the people arriving were for their tables as everyone else was still eating. Credit to the staff. Our meal was beautiful. The rigatoni amatriciana, the spaghetti carabonara and the focaccia bread was our highlight that night. I would just like to see the staff get credit for their service. The meals are beautiful too but how the staff do their jobs and keep smiling is amazing. Well done La Blanca team.

My wife and I had an excellent meal, lovely fresh vegetables perfectly cooked, pan fried sea bass was delicious as was the polo pepe, would thoroughly recommend searching out this little gem on Neilston Road. Pleasing comfortable interior with quiet ambience. Two mains and a bottle of wine for under £55 great value!

Very accommodating and welcoming for our large walk in party of 7. Well looked after and a lovely meal. Would recommend to anyone staying nearby at the airport.

went for a family celebration, booked for 6.30. Due to a lack of kitchen staff we finally got out out 3 hrs later. food was poor but edible. discussed with mangeress and she did explain the issue but wont be back which is a shame as happy to support local locations, unfortunaltey they need to up their game if they want to compete with other restaurants in the area.

We struggled to enjoy our meal (which was a birthday celebration), due to several minor issues which, when taken together contributed to a very average experience. We were told they'd need the table back after 2 hours, which has never been a problem for us in the past, however the service here was so slow (we weren't even given food menus until after we'd offered drinks) that in the end we struggled to finish our mains in time, and were refused dessert. The food was fine, one item from the menu wasn't available and another arrived incomplete and we were charged for an extra mail course. The service was friendly enough but the staff seemed very rushed, which contributed to a less-than-relaxed ambience. I don't think I'd rush back.

Our taxi to take us to the restaurant initially didn't turn up , I contacted La Bianca and was advised that we were the last table of the evening but they would keep it. Again further delay and no taxi and when I phoned again the lady said they could only keep it for the next 15mins which was totally understandable. The taxi eventually turned up making us 45 mins late. The owner/ manager gave us a lovely welcome even though we were so late, the food was delicious (best brushetta ever!!) even though we were so late we were not rushed, and as I say the food and wine was fab, thannk you

We are so glad we dropped in for a great Saturday dinner at La Banca last night - a lovely family restaurant in Paisley. Although it was a very busy night Rachel and her team (women power!) were attentive, helpful and quick to serve. The atmosphere and generous food were fantastic. We would definitely recommend this experience to everyone who loves good food with family and/or friends. Happy kiwi.

Super friendly staff in a cozy village. Not that far from Glasgow. Highly recommended for every tourist who is looking for something with love and passion. They have a 'lunch menu' between certain hours. Three course menu for under £20.00. Awesome! The dishes were delicious. And big enough. The bruschetta was generously topped with tomato as you can see. Only the Italian atmosphere can be added even more to the restaurant. That was a bit lacking. For the rest; super!

Our first time dining at La Banca Italian, we found all of the staff to be very friendly. On arrival we were greeted by a very polite waiter who seated us and presented menus. Shortly after our drinks and starters arrived, not far after our meals arrived. We found all of our meals to be hot delicious and full of flavor. Thank you for the great experience La Banca Italian we would love to visit again soon.

It has taken me a while to write this review but I wanted to take the time to thank La Banca for the wonderful dinner to celebrate my special birthday a few weeks ago. There were 30 of us and to ensure we were all served at the same time with hot, delicious food was no mean feat. There were a number of children in the group and the staff were so good with them, whilst they continually changed their minds on which desert to order!

Me and my husband ate here on the back of the great TA reviews. The restaurant is not located in the best area but once you step through the door, you forget all about that. The decor is very nice and the service was brilliant. The staff were friendly and welcoming. So great to see! The breaded mozzarella starter was very tasty. The mozzarella garlic bread side dish was beautiful! My husband really enjoyed his lasagne and I loved the chicken in pepper, cream and brandy sauce. The cheesecake desserts were too nice! Can’t fault this place at all and I highly recommend it! We will be back!

First time in this restaurant and we were not disappointed. Food was delicious, good value and the two waitresses were a delight.

Sadly the restaurant was very quiet. It was mid week. Service was one girl who did a good job and made us feel welcome. Food very nice. Would recommend this restaurant.

Went here for lunch today and was very impressed. The mozzarella bites and sauce that came with them that I had as a starter were lovely. The macaroni cheese was lovely also, seasoned perfectly with a hint of pepper in the sauce.
