Food was excellent,main portions were substantial, starters were slightly small but overall amazing.

I ordered a takeaway gorgonzola burger. It comes with pulled pork and is served with potato wedges. However, the amount of pulled pork on the burger was minimal it wasn't even a forkful, which was very disappointing and instead of potato wedges I received frozen chips.

Tener 12 años y crecer en este lugar es increíble, incluso la abuela de mi mamá trabaja aquí y eso dice algo de mí. Absolutely cannot fault anything about this restaurant. From start to finish, the service, attention to detail, and of the course, the food, was amazing. Perfect timing between approaches to the table for courses and the staff could not do enough. A perfect night.

Takeaway review. Not dined in for a while due to small baby, but the takeaway tonight was rotten! Perhaps I was put off by the price which is insane £20.45 a large Hawaiian that was cold and dry. And the fries have increased from £2.20 to £3.95 also cold. Only live 2 mins away so it wasn’t a long car journey. So disappointed as Genova used to be a regular favourite.

Food was average but good service, but the place lacked any atmosphere and the cupboard alcove for a table was just miserable pitch dark really didn’t help either not the best dull little light bulb and a string of dull Xmas lights and a tea light candle not even lite not the best set up.

Fabulous little Italian restaurant. Have visited a few times now and always like to try something different from the menu.

Spur of the moment decision to drop by Trattoria Genova for dinner. The restaurant is normally fully booked, but the delightful hostess found a cozy spot for us anyway. I had the Margherita pizza, and my sister ordered the pasta with steak. Both meals were cooked to perfection and served promptly, with a smile. A top-notch evening from start to finish. We will return!

Visited on a Friday evening with 3 friends when the restaurant was really busy but service and food was excellent. Staff were very attentive and helpful when describing dishes, excellent customer service from Andre and his team. Really varied menu - something for everyone. Food was delicious. Food and drinks were reasonably priced. Excellent Italian restaurant.

Popped in for lunch Met by very friendly staff and shown to our table by the window. Very spacious setting Lunch menu had lots of choices at great price for both 2 course and 3 course. I had the Amatriciana which was beautiful. Good portion size which was filling but not overly. Wife had the lasagna which also got a big thumbs up. Well worth a visit

I went with a group from my Craft Club for an end of term lunch. The staff were really attentive and made sure that everyone was happy with their meal. Dietary requirements were met for all of us, especially those with allergies etc. The food was delicious and service couldn't be faulted. Great value for a very nice lunch. Would highly recommend.

Four of us had lunch and it was excellent. Nice place. Fantastic service,really friendly and efficient. Excellent fixed price lunch menu,great value for money. Extensive choice. We had meatballs,soup of the day and calamari rings to start. All very tasty,well presented and good portion size. Mains were seabass,sirloin steak and pasta,chicken Milanese and a chicken burger. Again all very nice. Dessert was really nice Tiramisu. Lovely coffees to end meal. Thoroughly enjoyable meal,will definitely return.

Very good place to eat and food is delicious although this piece of cheesecake is 100% not worth £6.50

So I really wanted to love this place, for starters the staff were lovely and super accommodating to us as last minute walk-ins in a very busy restaurant. The rest of the service was good, it's just the food that didn't do it for me. I don't have a fancy pallette by any means, but the calamari and pizza I got were decidedly just middle-of-the-road. Not bad, just not great. Maybe there was some great dish there that could wow my taste buds, but these weren't it unfortunately. I'd go back and try something different perhaps, as its just down the road!

Great food and a great early evening two course deal. 5 of us fed and waters, soft drinks, pint of Moretti Nd 2 large glasses of wine and we were £110. Great value

We both enjoyed the food, it was so tasty and great portions. Although a very small restaurant, the layout could be better to avoid having tables at/near the entrance, it would have been so uncomfortable to sit on either, we were advised to sit there but asked for better table and thankfully got it. Unfortunately, some tables for 2 are in bad locations. But food and staff are great.

Booked a table of 6 for my wife's birthday and boy were we not disappointed.. The food itself was great, and every one enjoyed and ate all their meals. The staff were super friendly and how the Italian waiter remembered the 12 dishes without taking note. was impressive! He even made changes to the dishes to suit our kids. It's a small traditionally Italian restaurant, and the quality of the food and service makes you understand why you don't find this restaurant of promotional sites like 5pm and Groupon. Thanks again Trattoria Genova and we will be back :)

The food was lovely, and there was a good selection on their menus. Nice drinks and cocktails selection too. There was an 18th birthday at another table, and the staff brought their cake out and sang. It was a lovely and inviting atmosphere. I'd definitely return.

Takeaway used. Worst lasagne ive tasted. Actually thought i had been wrongly given a vegetarian one as next to no mince. Resembled microwave dish was so runny

My family visited Genova this evening for a birthday celebration. Excellent friendly service, good range on the menu and we enjoyed some lovely food. We all loved it and will definitely be back again!

Went here with a couple of great friends for dinner, absolutely amazing, from the minute we arrived until we left we were looked after impeccably, food was amazing from start to finish and the atmosphere and service from the staff was superb 👌, portion sizes were big and incredible quality, just one of the most incredible Italian restaurant I’ve ever visited! Thanks to my good friends Linda and Stevie we never would have visited this restaurant, 10 /10 all round for everything 👌

Lovely food and great service. First restaurant tried in Paisley and will definitely be back. Food was delicious, fresh and hearty portions too. Service from the lady and gentleman was also brilliant. Very professional and friendly too. Place is spotless and has nice warm feel inside. Very reasonable prices too, a great around experience.

Made to wait even though we were punctual. Starter OK but Mac and cheese was not good. Tinned would be better.

First time back in many years after disappointing meals and service. Huge improvement in all areas since that visit. Food was tasty. I requested a bit of a mix of 2 main course pastas, chef was asked, reply was no problem and the dish was delicious. Service was friendly, non-intrusive, and welcoming. Unfortunately, our auld heids didn't get a calculator out to properly divide the bill so I do feel we undertipped our lovely server (tall, slim, long hair, not Paisley accent) but promise to make it up next time we are in!!!

Went for a joint birthday dinner last night, 9 of us, and every single one of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Everything was spot on, service was great, food was great.

Came in off the street (no reservation). Not a problem so long as we had table back in one and a half hours. Lovely and very reasonable lunch menu. We were well looked after and the food was delicious. Great atmosphere in the restaurant too. Great. Another visit, e very bit as good as last time, wonderful. post new year lunch visit. again we didn't have a reservation but that was no problem. well looked after by the very pleasant staff. lunch was fantastic, lovely atmosphere, highly recommended as usual.
