The best restaurants serving Italian food in Edinburgh and Lothian

Rubbish, lied on the phone, delivered not what I asked for, phoned them back and girl who answered very rude, eat elsewhere

Tried the margarita, tasteless and almost no cheese. I think it doesn’t even worth the £2. Also, the other slices are sold over £2.

The fish and chips from Creel Caught was grossly overpriced for a piece of fish you would expect to pick up at Farmfoods and low quality frozen chips. Even the mushy peas were awful. To say I was disappointed is an under statement when I saw the quality of the other dishes that my family had. Will be back at Bonnie and Wild but you can be sure I will be giving Creel Caught a wide berth.

Having read some previous reviews I had to double check I'd picked the correct restaurant to review! We had great food; dough balls and American hot pizzas - which were nicely hot! Our waiter was friendly and attentive.

Myself & my friend and 9month old baby were in for breakfast on Monday 9th of March. We were served by FLAVIO ... what can I say his service was amazing like in a 5 star restaurant. He was so polite and well mannered something you don’t get in many places nowadays. We will definitely be back.

Visitamos el restaurante 1 semana después de reabrir con mi familia y tengo que decir : ¡LA MEJOR OPCIÓN DE LA HISTORIA! El servicio fue bueno, gracias Lorenzo y Siobhan : ) La comida una palabra: PERFECCIÓN. Tuvimos un gran entrante, el plato de mar mixto para compartir (olvidé tomar fotos antes de comenzar a disfrutarlo, por lo que la porción original es más grande) y estaba tan fresco y delicioso también una porción enorme, ya que me sentí casi lleno después de eso. Nos han sugerido el pan de focaccia ligeramente tostado y fue increíble también. Para la red decidimos ir por pasta y fue uno de los mejores platos de mi vida. Todo se sentía perfecto a mi gusto con suficiente ajo y salsa cremosa. Vaya... ¡Sólo Wow! ! ! ! ! !! Espero que se hayan dado cuenta de la suerte que tienen con chefs tan increíbles. Bien hecho. Hemos estado allí antes hace unos años y fue una gran decepción. ¡Esto es lo que llamo un gran regreso! ¡Sigan con el gran trabajo y estoy seguro de que en muy poco tiempo todos se darán cuenta de que tienen la mejor comida italiana de la zona! Sin duda volveremos pronto : )

No lo hagas. No ordenes a estos tipos. Pedido el domingo pasado y tardó casi dos horas en llegar. Cuando finalmente apareció frío de piedra abrí la caja para descubrir que me habían dado lo equivocado. Llamé para quejarme y me dijeron que tomaría demasiado tiempo para arreglar el pedido y que un reembolso no era posible, así que solo conseguiría una pizza gratis la próxima vez. Llamo una semana después para conseguir mi pizza gratis y me informan que solo es gratis si vengo a recogerla. No vivo cerca del lugar, por eso lo pedí. Dicen que la única manera de conseguir una pizza gratis es si pido una y luego llamo por teléfono y les pido que agreguen una gratis. Ya odio la idea de esto, pero es lo que es. Puse una orden y luego telefoneé. Dicen que lanzarán mi libre. Mi pedido llega y no hay pizza gratis. El repartidor parecía completamente confundido acerca de lo que estaba hablando y dijo que no habría sido una pizza gratis en absoluto, sino probablemente un pan de ajo gratis o algo así. ¡Yo tampoco lo entendí! Así que sí, no te molestes. Hará frío, será incorrecto y no estarán dispuestos a solucionar los problemas que causen.

Terrible service! Even worse food! Lady on the counter needs to sort her attitude out and because we asked questions about what we were ordering she gave us the old haggis that looked like it had been in the warmer for 8 hours

We initially entered into this establishment almost frostbitten from the chill night air. We set up shop with various sweet treats we had acquired from a separate business, and were then told to exit with our varied desserts. We then consumed them outside and reentered. We then ordered halloumi fries and were told they would take 10 minutes. Unfortunately, our bus came before the cheesy delights had been properly prepared. We sprinted away to the bus and sat on the top level. Upon looking back at the Pizza Hut, my travel companion noticed the same man who took our order waving through the window of the Hut. He waved and pointed at our late night snack and pleaded with us to return. Sadly, we could not, but his dedication lives on in our hearts. If there is a God on this Earth, I feel warm knowing we have been graced with his presence in a Bathgate Pizza Hut. Onwards home!

Fantástica comida. Fiesta de cumpleaños para 12 miembros de la familia. 1 en silla de ruedas. Personal muy servicial y excelente servicio, sin duda volveremos.

Sin duda el peor y definitivamente el chippy más caro de la zona. Yo diría que peor en Edimburgo pero Bar be Que existe. He estado yendo durante 12 años y el pescado, patatas fritas y pudines, etc. siempre son horribles. Las pizzas son bastante buenas para ser justos, pero nunca volveré. Balerno Fry es infinitamente mejor. Nunca cocine papas fritas o pescado anémico pálido allí. Realmente muy mal.

Friendly service but slow probably due to a very slow kitchen. Clearly understaffed. We ordered the burger that had little taste ,and the chips were cold, the carbonara that were ok, the spaghetti n’duja that tasted ok too but had at best 1/2 teaspoon of n’duja meat - the waiter reassured me this was how the dish was supposed to be which was disappointing. I was offered a free starter to make up which was a kind gesture but I declined as we already had to wait 40 minutes for our food to arrive to begin with and I was not prepared to wait anymore - so overall this was a poor experience. The visit to the toilets just reinforced the feeling the whole place is not well managed or looked after as the toilets were dirty, smelly and grimy. Won’t go back and certainly won’t advise anyone else to visit

We ate some fish and chips. It was a fast service and the food was okay. Just like you expect from a takeway. Beside of fish and chips there is pakora or doner.
