Huge mix up. Was told that driver had been to my door and no answer! No one had been to my door. Restaurant called me and said they’d send a new delivery. 2hours and 15 minutes from original order I received my food. Penne Fungi Creme was actually penne carbonara just penne in a cheese sauce and I wasn’t able to eat it. Pizza was acceptable but by then I was so put off I didn’t even eat half.. very disappointing to say the least..

The pizza was a little burnt and a little mushy

they just show up when they feel like it, none of their food matches the description on the menu, had same problem multiple times

Paid £2 extra to have green chillies on my pizza and they didn't add them.

Lovely food as always, but thought the chicken kebab meat would have been a bit more, my husband loved it!!! Literally licked the plate, just maybe a bit more chicken!!!!!!!

We have used Ali's many times before. Unfortunately tonight our Bolognese Pizza 🍕 was burnt. Hopefully this was a one off occasion. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to leave our review.

I ordered chip, cheese and kebab. but that's not what I received. the cheese was missing and I paid for it. I've been charged for it also. when it such probably have been reduced to chips ans kebab option on the menu. not sure I'm gonna be ordering again for a while. was really looking forward to trying this put. disappointing. I can't remember how it was as I was busy at the time

My first time ordering from here I got a pizza it was very nice the crust on the pizza was very nice and great veggies to the only reason I gave a 4 star was the food was just warm all most cold I don't know if you can get the drivers to use bag or a better one if they use one but overall I would definitely order from her again thank.

Chips brown overcooked and same with onion rings black and crisp. Have took photos. Clean your oil

I've got the different food from which I've ordered. I'm very disappointed and they are irresponsible and not attending the calls after I got my food delivered. I've wasted my money on them. It's waste of money and waste of time.

Make sure you bring cash as they charged a 50p handing fee on card transactions. I expect the 00s to be calling them soon to ask for their handling fee approach back.

Took a while for delivery around 1hr for cheesy chips and a kebab. Did have to put food in microwave as it was slightly on the cold side. Did enjoy it for what it was would maybe return again … still looking for a good takeaway in Edinburgh

Abysmally bad at fulfilling an order. They make mistakes almost every single time. Yesterday I bought a breakfast and wad 'relieved' that the only error was to forget the syrup for the pancakes... That was a win for me as usually something more substantial is missing especially when you add extra items (e. g. Extra eh on a mcmuffin)... They just ignore such requests more often than not

Food was awful! Frozen chips and the fish was frozen too! Even the burger wasn’t cooked well. Do not use this takeaway! Avoid!

worst pizza I've had from here, overcooked

Food late, this happens a lot, they update just eat saying food on its way but when called they usually say it's just leaving, they don't have enough staff to keep up with orders, don't waste your time .

Tidy as usual. Generous portion which turned into a mission tae demolish it all... Struggled a bit but done it 💪Gained a bit weight round the waste area but hey ho.. Ignorance is bliss! Landed quickly by a nice delivery girl. All good fae me 👍

I was a bit disappointed with the chicken pakora calzone. It was like mush and no crunch. If they deep fried the pakora first, cut it up then slapped it on the pizza and folded to be put in the oven. Im sure it would have tasted better. I ate most of it because i was hungry.

Order took 2 hours 20 mins to arrive, food was freezing cold and pizza overcooked. Phoned the restaurant for them to fix and was told there's nothing they can do.

Order 2 meals from their menu then tried to charge me extra £4 when ready I told the man that the price is on menu board above his head and that's what I expect to pay he instantly started to get aggressive saying the prices have been raised for months and was joined by another 2 colleagues one of whom wanted to start a fight over it but he was dragged through the back shop by 4th colleagues to top it another customer was in discussion with the guy serving him and asking for a 50p service charge the customer said I am paying cash the reply was it's for me serving you the boss has told us to charge it Totally disgusting behaviour won't be back

Ordered a meal deal which included a 2l bottle of juice but when delivered there was no juice

Food was absolutely delicious. Chiken kebab and diner kebab , pizza margarita , garlic bread was yummy. The staff was very friendly, i will always from now in order from there . Now it’s my favourite place 👍👍👍

Although it is 'just' a takeaway, their food is simply epic, especially kebabs. My personal favourite is mixed kebab.

TERRIBLE! Waste of money. Driver couldnt speak english or find my very easy address. Food was overcooked and greasy. Alii's used to be one of my fav's. Never ordering again

This is why cash is king, because when it doesn't arrive you're only let down and not out of pocket too. Just decline the order if you don't want to do it next time.

I have used Ali’s Take Away dozens of times over the years and I have never had a bad experience. Food has always been fresh, flavoursome and hot, and when not picked up in person, delivered quickly by polite delivery staff.

My recent experience at Ali's Takeaway was incredibly disappointing due to the rude behavior of their staff. From the moment I walked in, I was met with indifference and impoliteness. The cashier's attitude was dismissive, and it felt like I was inconveniencing them by being there. Not only did the staff display a lack of basic courtesy, but they also made errors in my order and refused to rectify them without an argument. It's disheartening to encounter such unprofessionalism in a service industry. I strongly advise against dining at Ali's Takeaway if you expect even a minimal level of respect and courtesy from the staff. There are plenty of other establishments that provide better customer service and value for your money.

The jalapeño poppers were cold, ordered salad dressing and was giving garlic sauce. This is the second time we’ve ordered recently and both times we’ve been a bit disappointed.

Excellent service and lovely food once again.

We enjoyed the food but they got the order wrong. Ordered a doner hoagie wrap and they gave us a doner wrap instead. Not a big deal but feel a bit shortchanged as we paid more money for the hoagie. The doner wrap is a bit plain when you’re wanting chips and cheese too.

Kids meal says lollipop included which it wasn’t which left a very disappointed & sad child. Food was amazing tho.
