We were served by Dzhanan from last couple of months and she's always absolutely delighted and kind with every single customer. She deserved our feedback such a reason today we decided to leave our review here and also recommend to others try to choose costa amersham for best coffee ever nice sitting place and lovely staff with great atmosphere 👍

A superb Sunday lunch here today. Generous and served piping hot with extra vegetables. Good value wine by the glass and their own brewery ales on tap. Walkers and dogs very welcome in the bar and very cheerful staff too. Birchover is a charming village and The Red Lion is somewhere we return to and highly recommend.

We ordered pizza delivery from here on a Monday and it took 45 minutes for 3 pizza to arrive and when they did it was cold. We live less and mile away, won’t be using again as this is the second time we had a bad experience with Wheathampstead nonnos

I very rarely write bad reviews but this pizza was awful, we didn't even finish it. The dough was so undercooked and soggy, the mushrooms were really chewy and difficult to bite into, and we thought the whole lot was so flavourless. £25 wasted. Very disappointed, there are plenty of much better pizza places in hertford

I’ve been coming here for lunch for nearly five years due to its proximity to work and a corporate tie-up, but it’s consistently disappointing. The pasta is mediocre, often just plain boiled with barely any sauce, and the staff almost always gets my order wrong. I’ve paid for extras that never made it to my meal, and takeaways often reveal mistakes too late to fix. Even with self-ordering kiosks to streamline the process, errors persist. My colleagues and I are fed up with the subpar food and service, especially given the high prices.

Some of the most unappetising and gloomy food I have ever experienced. The ravioli pasta was completely dry with absolutely no sauce or anything to make it any tastier than the stuff you buy in a bag from Tesco but this was nothing in comparison to the absolutely inedible mushroom, truffle and ham pizza which was truly disgusting. An extremely unfortunate booking, please go somewhere else. The waitress however was lovely and the best thing about this restaurant.

first time ordering here. mac and cheese was cold and chicken wings weren’t even cooked. peri chicken and chips box was lovely but wont be ordering again.

I ordered pizza my pizza was not cooked dough was not even cooked had the send it back when I took the pizza back I had no reaction poor customer service wouldn't recommend.

Rude - pointed and clicked at. Shouting you to people to get attention when food was ready. Need a better system and manners. Food was not great.
