Amazing food & vibe in the restaurant.

Este restaurante de pescado es fácil de reservar en línea y sin duda fue necesario en la noche del viernes, antes de Navidad, que visitamos. Mi compañero tenía fletán y yo gambas. Ambos platos estaban muy bien. Sin duda volveríamos a visitar la próxima vez que estemos en Liverpool.

Been meaning to try here for a while and booked a table on monday eve our first night in Liverpool. Arrived on time and our table was ready which were shown too was a round table tucked in an alcove with another table of three which made it cosy. Food was excellent, mussels to start followed by seafood spaghetti. the ladies had breads with a large dish of olives and Hake with asparagus risotto which was good. Had a lovely meal good service and will be back to try some of the other good smelling dishes

We visited this italian seafood restaurant and had an amazing time. On arrival, we got seated immediately by a really friendly staff member and got our drinks ordered. Service was nice, friendly, and prompt. Our meals were cooked to perfection. Good portion sizes and the seafood were very tasty. I would highly recommend the italian Club fish if you are in Liverpool and craving italian sea food. Highly recommend you call ahead to book a table as it does get busy

Cenamos aquí un frío martes por la noche en diciembre. Habíamos reservado, y estábamos sentados en la ventana a la derecha de la puerta mientras entras. Aunque estábamos alejados de la puerta, todavía estaba un poco frío cuando la puerta se abrió. Pero esta pequeña distracción no nos impidió disfrutar de una comida fantástica! Teníamos la parrilla de pescado mixto (no el plato de compartir) , y todo el pescado estaba muy bien cocinado. No es barato a casi £ 45, pero vale la pena - es un gran plato de comida! ¡No hay sitio para el postre! El servicio era amable y eficiente, y la habitación tenía un buen ambiente. Si te gusta el pescado y los mariscos, esta es una gran opción en la parte superior de Bold Street.

This is a superb restaurant which combines excellent and ample food, very pleasant and efficient service and a pleasant ambience. The price is reasonable for a really lovely evening

Everything on the menu is incredible. Genuinely the best prawns I’ve had since South Africa. The BEST seafood restaurant in Liverpool.

Estábamos sentados en la habitación privada de arriba, que carece de la atmósfera y el bullicio de la zona de comedor de la planta baja principal. Pedimos nuestro entrante y la red y desde la sección “algo para picar” del menú el pan con aceitunas. Fue decepcionante recibir la tabla de pan al mismo tiempo que los titulares. Cuando mencioné esto al final de la comida, me dijeron que deberíamos haber preguntado si lo queríamos antes de empezar! Los entrantes estaban bien. La marinara de mejillones era agradable con una buena salsa de tomate, pero podría haber tenido más sabor. Las vieiras se servían con pudín negro pero en una enorme cama de sal, lo que fue una sorpresa. Pedí el lenguado de limón en el menú especial. Llegó y no tenía verduras ni nada. Aparentemente debería haber pedido bandos pero no ser promovido por la camarera que toma el pedido es decepcionante. Habiendo sabido que estaba pagando más de 22 libras por un trozo de pescado blando en una salsa bastante sosa y sin lados puede que haya elegido otra cosa. Mi esposa pidió el fletán que se servía en una salsa de hongos que era demasiado fuerte para el pescado. Quedamos muy decepcionados con la comida, pero el vino era precioso y apreciamos el gesto de quitar el vino de nuestra factura.

2 cheesecakes and 2 coffee machiatos £19.30. The price is not worth eating 2 industrial cheesecakes. Since it is a restaurant called Italian, I thought I would eat something natural. The machiato was ok but nothing so different from other places to justify the high price.

As an Italian living in the UK, I was so pleased to find such an authentic and lovely venue in town. The food was amazingly prepared and tasting and of great, authentic standard, the atmosphere was perfect and quiet for a date dinner and the staff was so genuine and friendly. The price is very well proportioned for the quality received. We will come back definitely, and recommend the Italian Club Fish for great food, a lovely atmosphere and for a lovely night out.

Really nice place, mixed fish meal was fantastic.

Went tonight for a meal, we ordered the fish platter, the food was mostly good! Only thing we didnt like was the onion rings which were still hard in the middle, and the kitchen staff were arguing so loud about staff leaving and the lady who was serving ar first was actually screaming at them, shouting "thats the end of the conversation, just stop it, enough! Chefs are leaving!" Dint hear the rest of the conversation but didn't really want to hear any of that! Was meant to be a nice night out for our wedding anniversary, but felt a bit overshadowed by the staff shouting and screaming from the kitchen and then the serving staff being a bit quiet. To be honest, we looked forward to this as we had heard good things, we payed for the fish platter which at £90 is a bit too much considering we had to listen to staff kicking off on each other! Shame as we wouldn't not go back now because of this! So to sum up, what was meant to be a nice night out was somewhat ruined by the inconsiderate staff shouting and not thinking about the customers. We really won't go back because of this!

I really enjoyed the spaghetti and seafood. 10 out of 10!!! The scallop with black pudding was just delicious as was the tiramisu. We'll be back!!

Everything about this restaurant is excellent. Menu, ambiance, staff, service and food. Service charge included, although I’d prefer to add a gratuity (which would have been more).

I've been here a few times and have not always been impressed with the food for the price as it is expensive, but it seems to be popular for customers who like shellfish

Tuvimos una comida increíble, el pescado es tan fresco y fabulosamente cocinado. Te prometo que este es uno de los mejores restaurantes de pescado en los que he estado. El personal es fantástico, muy servicial y amable. Realmente recomiendo este restaurante.

A large menu of seafood. There is also a small section of meat dishes. Fantastic seafood cooked with great ingredients. Great atmosphere and service. We had the fishcakes, bruschetta with crab, and arancini, with mussels, pasta etc All delicious!!

Excellent food that was tasty, innovative and homemade. Our waitress was brilliant, friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

This is a great restaurant right in the centre of Liverpool with a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. Visited here a few times & it never disappoints. If you are a seafood lover, this is the place for you. Great food & great service.

Heerlijk gegeten in dit kleine gezellige vis restaurant. Eindelijk een echt restaurant en niet een keten restaurant. De sharing platter was heerlijk en lag vol vis. Aardige bediening ook.

I do like the lobster, but I am very unsatisfied with the price of the hot seafood sharing platter is wrong on the menu. It shows as £90 per couple on the menu but the waiter told me it is actually £90 per PERSON! I asked the waiter twice and he told me it is I need £90 per person……

We are on a Monday mid afternoon, so it was pretty quiet. The food was delicious.

Recommended by hotel receptionist and we're so glad we went there. Friendly, prompt service (without being at all rushed). Excellent food nicely served. Generous portions so I could only manage a scoop of ice cream (but even that was excellent) afterwards but husband had the tiramisu. Service charge is added automatically but husband tipped on top of that as we'd had such a good visit. We'd return to Liverpool just to eat there (or to try their other restaurant and bakery).

The last time the four of us went to dinner, we were treated differently by a waiter. We sat down for almost twenty minutes. He refused to give us the menu and pretended he couldn't see us. The guests who came after us immediately gave the menu enthusiastically and pretended not to see us even when they were standing next to us. Finally, another girl gave us the menu and apologized. I often go to this store, but the restaurant is not good at the management of the waiter and I think he is a racist. I feel very disappointed, and will not go again in the future.

Ah this place never disappoints! Incredible seafood, always so fresh, cooked perfectly and generally all round amazing. We came for my birthday lunch and brought our baby, the staff were amazing with him making him laugh and interacting with him and being so great and attentive with us throughout our visit. Honestly could not fault a thing. Just perfect! Excellent choice for birthday lunch!!! At the end they brought out a birthday plate with a slice of cake (not requested by us) because my partner had added to the booking that it was my birthday. Sweet gesture, lovely cake, love love love. Can’t wait to come back

We had our wedding reception in the private function room upstairs. It seated 26 of us comfortably. There were 3 small children running around and 2 other babies. The staff were very friendly, accommodating and couldn't do enough for us. Everyone single one of our guests said how amazing the food was.

Lovely food, great menu and a lovely atmosphere I always enjoy myself and the food. However sometimes, the lack of utensils can take away from the experience sometimes when dealing with crab claws etc. Buy lovely al in still a lovely experience xx

I had a meal here with a friend, and the food was great a little pricey and smallish portions but but overall good value and enjoyed the experience.

I don't know what to think about this place - it's the first time I've had to return a dish. I ordered mussels (large portion), but they smelled so strange that I was afraid to eat them. I have eaten mussels many times in my life in restaurants all over the world and they have never had such an off-putting smell. The service was extremely nice - the waitress immediately replaced my dish with another one I chose from the menu, but the order remains suspicious to me. Looking at other opinions of people who got poisoned here, I would advise you to be careful.

We booked for my nephews birthday (21st) . Food was beautiful ! I had Risotto and family members got different dishes that were 👌🏾. Benny was are waiter and he was so attentive and could not do enough for us . Thanks to Benny and the food we are definitely going to be returning again . Loved my Margarita's 🥰. Benny ended up feeling like family at the end of the service . Pleased we chose this place , food was 👌🏾and Benny and the team go far to make you feel very welcome. Thank you Benny , we will be back for sure 🥰

Excellent Fish Restaurant. Menu choice - very good. We had the spaghetti with seafood and could not fault it. Decent portion size. The only reason I did not give 5 star rating was we had to wait a long time for our mains and when we arrived the table was not ready (which we pre-booked) - other than that, it was great. I would still go and visit again, as the quality of the food was outstanding and cooked well.

What a lovely place. Took a chance on a walk in and made the right decision. Had the Carlingford oysters to start with a house white wine, and then one of the specials of the day: Halibut with garlic spuds and chilli samphire. Not disappointed... Tiramisu to finish (home made). Superb.

Ordered seafood risotto delivery. The rice was still raw and hard, and the crawfish were not fresh as the meat was mashy and sticked onto the shell ( I understand they were frozen but frozen crawfishes can be fresh too). The broth was extremely salty. I couldn't taste the umami flavour of the seafood, it tasted like nothing but salt. If I ordered this in the restaurant, I would have the dish sent back sure. £23 for a inedible seafood risotto is expensive. Extremely upset about it right now.

The food and service was good but unfortunately the oysters gave me food poisoning which put me in hospital.

It's our first year anniversary on the 28.04.24 been married for 12 months ❤️❤️ we took a train into Liverpool and headed off to the, Italian Club Fish Restaurant in Bold street Liverpool, were our table for two was booked, I must say the food we both had was just amazing, so lovely, and the service from all the staff was a credit to the restaurant. Stumbled across this gem of a restaurant in the heart of liverpool. Welcomed in by kind and accommodating staff. Started with 6 oysters and Prosecco- the fresh oysters were excellent. Next my father had the fritto misto - which he thoroughly enjoyed, although he said he could have done without the chips! but he’s weird like that. I had the cioppino - very filling and great flavour with tonnes of sea food. Wine was also delicious! Would definitely come again to try more dishes and would recommend to any fish lovers out on the streets of liverpool!

Brilliant food!!!! What a lovely cosy restaurant. Staff are lovely and very helpful. I had the fried oysters to start and my wife the Calamari and prawns. Both absolutely lovely. My wife said the best Calamari she has had. For main I had the mixed Seaford pasta, my wife the half lobster pasta both were really really tasty. Ignore the comments on not being fresh because it absolutely is !!! For dessert, the Nutella and nut tart, again amazing, first time here but will not be the last!!!

If you like seafood this restaurant is a real gem. The food is out of this world made even better by the warmth of the welcome by the fantastic staff. Whenever we are in Liverpool we make sure to eat here

The food was very good but falls shy of excellent for the price. One of the waiters was great and the others functional. Slightly felt as though they were doing us a favour by being there and minimal pleasantries. The spaghetti was particularly good. The mixed fish grill lacked any real flavour. Desserts were nice enough.

Good night, apart, from, food, large, king, prawns, where, very soft, and smelly ,the haddock looked great,but,smelt of amoia, I eat ,a lot of fresh fish it was disappointing, when you get served fish, which is out of date, and calamari, was poor frozen, you can't call your self a fish restaurant ,with poor ,quality, food, not a good idea,.

The food overall is great, however, the seafood can better fresher. We can smell some of the clam. The prawn meat is not fresh, we just can tell. Overall it’s not so bad.

Visited here with my husband midweek after many recommendations. The restaurant was quiet but had a nice atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I ordered swordfish for my main, I mentioned to my husband that it didn’t taste very fresh and one bite tasted funny so I left the rest. I was very ill all night, definitely won’t be visiting again!

Great meal. All 4 of us enjoyed our selections. I went for mussels and seabass, both very good, we’ll be back for another visit.

Lovely restaurant on the top end of bustling bold street. If you like sea food this is an excellent place to try. Food was brilliant, staff fabulous & very friendly, atmosphere was great. We loved everything, can highly recommend here. We will be back

Visited here for Mother’s Day the starters were lovely the main wasn’t very nice the pasta wasn’t cooked and there was no fish in the dish, the server gave us dirty looks which was weird, we never said anything at the time I just don’t go back no smiles from staff miserable never again

Usually great food but this time service was dreadful Didn't come for our drinks order ,she forgot we were there , then waited an hour for our second couse and the restaurant was almost empty Half the clams in our meal were closed so couldn't eat them and chef argued about the amount we said were closed when there shouldn't have been any on a £24 meal Then they had the cheek to add service charge of £6.55

Love this place. Menu is amazing. Plenty to choose from. Husband chose the halibut and said it was the best meal he has ever had. everything is so fresh and the service is proper old school, you leave feeling looked after. Worth a visit. We will be back. If you bag the window tables its a nice little view too. Busy corner of Bold st.

It all started so well. Welcomed by polite staff. Seated before time. A good list of specials. We shared 6 oysters with Prosecco, perfectly fresh and not too big, followed by tuna tartar, again fresh and nicely flavoured. Then the mains, I had tagliatelle with prawns, the pasta was overdone and all stuck together, prawns were delicious though. My partner had the special Red Snapper risotto. The fish was actually slightly burnt, and the risotto was overdone. There were also some very chewy strips of squid, not really edible. The sauce flavour was too bitter. Sides of Samphire, too soft and overdone, and fries slightly shrivelled. I think the food was overcooked and left waiting. Finally, we had vanilla ice cream, a shot of expresso and Amiretto, lovely, but you can't really mess this up. Staff throughout were great. We complained about the risotto, and it was removed from the bill, and we were given a free glass of wine.

Excellent sea food with fresh fish specials. Our go to place for fine dining when we are in Liverpool.

I went there a few days ago with a last-minute booking. Staff were helpful to squeeze in a party of four. I had high expectations, thinking of the Italian flavours we could have there. We ordered the hot skillet and the seafood platter. I must admit, if you didn't order the grilled fish of the day or pasta, the rest of the menu was all fried and tasted a bit the same. I would have liked to see grilled octopus instead of boiled and then passed through the grill. I also wouldn't bother with chips, just ask to swap them for salad. As for the oysters, you get only one variety, but the waiter couldn't tell us the origin which was a bit surprising. We ordered them anyway, but they didn't hold up to my expectations either. In terms of environment, I like the decor, but the restaurant gets quite noisy. This was probably down to loud customers, but it still made a bit uncomfortable trying to shout in order to have a conversation. I'm not saying I wouldn't go again, but I'd try on a less busy day and I would only order from the catch of the day next time.

I have to say my wife and I love this restaurant, and the food is superb. My only issue is the price of some of the dishes at Club Fish. I spent 15 years working in the catering as a chef, so I'm very aware of the GP on pasta dishes. However, there's GP, and there's taking the mick. I'm also very aware of the rising costs for restaurants, and the hide costs many customers don't see. Charging over £20 for a Carbonara is a little on the steep side. With a 2 course meal(2 x starters and 2 x Mains) for two covers, with a bottle of wine and one glass of wine coming to £140 (including service charge). This means Club Fish has now become a special occasion venue and no longer a weekend treat. As I've said the food is amazing, but you can get the same quality of food for the same price or less in and around the multitude of restaurants on Bold Street. Do try Club Fish, but check the prices before you book.

Great seafood, really fresh and well cooked fish. I had the halibut and 2 sides, with drink it came to just over £33. Really good service.

This is one of the best fish restaurants we have visitedin the uk. The fish is cooked to perfection and presented in well and the interior is very homely and unpretentious. The staff are attentive and polite without being overbearing and the food is honestly priced. The scallops were stand out perfection. We will return .

Very disappointing. Visited for the first time for my wife's birthday. She is a big seafood fan, so this should have been perfect..... BUT..... a number of issues: 1. No recognition of the fact it was my wife's birthday 2. The service was unbelievably slow - it took over an hour between our starters and main course 3. At no time did any of the staff advise us there was a problem We were given a 15% discount off our bill, but there was little appreciation of how bad the experience was. On the plus side, the Oysters were amazing. The rest of the food was ok, as none of it was very warm. Sadly, we will not be going back.

What has happened to The Italian Fish Club ? We went on a Thursday evening which unusually was far from busy, and the food was well, just average, certainly well below their usual standard. New Year Blues? Change of Chef? £25 for a very small portion of halibut with some cold chips for me and my wife got a child's portion of some mushy goujons. The staff spent most of the evening wistfully looking out to the Bold Street footfall hoping for more customers. They will have to work a little harder to retain their customer base, which up to recently was extremely loyal. I hope our disappointing meal was a one-off. We shall give the restaurant one more try, but after that......... probably not. Sad, it used to be our most favourite restaurant.

Stumbled across this place. The restaurant front caught my eye,very pretty. Myself and my friend had lunch. I had the vegan puttanesca! I have been to a lot of Italian restaurants,all I can say is this was the nicest Italian food I have eaten. Will definitely be going again❤️

A cosy place at the top of bold street, perfect if you’re wanting pasta and seafood. Their platters and ciopinnos are so good. Everything is full of flavour but not too heavy. They can run out of things (fresh oysters etc) so just be careful if you go a bit later on that some of the fresher/ special stuff may have been sold out.

Went for a meal evening time, at first the main host was great and helpful. We had a waitress with a very distasteful attitude, and came home in the night only to throw up the food that was had. Both me and my fiancé could not do anything the day after or move far from the toilet to be sick. Won’t be coming here again.

Perfectly cooked pasta, delicious fish, great service and desserts to die for: Cappuccino cheesecake and tiramisu, wow, utterly scrumptious!

Very expensive to expesive not worth it at all. The staff was ok the food was decent corect but deffiently not worth 280 pounds for 4 adults and teo kids that had just chips.

Amazing food and service. The mussel pots are to die for. Some more authentic music would be nice. Some of the best seafood I’ve had in the uk.

Christmas Late Lunch with friends (Six of us) - Superb all round experience The restaurant looked great and our table which we had booked was in a great spot by the window. Service - fantastic. Attentive at the right level, timely and dealt with all our queries regarding the menu The food was suberb, a great selection, beautifully presented, well prepared and most importantly tasted fantastic. Good sized portions too, and certainly not overpriced Overall highly recommended for whatever occasion of eating out you want to enjoy. Food here was really good. The fish was fresh. We tried multiple dishes and we liked all of them. Highly recommend this place.

A year on from previous visit. Been repainted and a little too bright but food, drinks, staff still exceptionally the best!

Impossible to fault. Excellent food with great service in a lovely atmosphere. Fresh fish was amazing, and the sanfire with garlic and chilli a great accompaniment.

Terrible experience and a complete waste of a precious Saturday evening. We ended up walking out, having waited for over an hour for two main courses. Even getting a drink or ordering a starter of bread and olive oil took half an hour. None of the staff gave any explanation while we waited. or even looked interested when we said we were leaving. The couple next to us, from London, had waited for two hours, they said. So embarrassing for Liverpool, which has so much to offer. We were seated upstairs, which offers nothing like the downstairs experience, where previously we had lovely meals in the past. If you do book, don't go upstairs, it's so cramped, you feel like YOU are the sardine!!

Had an absolutely amazing experience for our sons birthday, the food was absolutely delicious, came piping hot which is a bit of a bug bear for me, could not fault a thing and we are looking forward to our next visit!
