A great place to have some lovely food that is so tasty, I cannot fault the food from here. Service was good and very friendly.

Great food. But after going to dinner one night and then for dessert and coffee the night after, the service is atrocious. Both nights we were seated in the back corner and both nights the staff either completely forgot or ignored us. The second night I had to walk up to the manager to ask for someone to come take our order after waiting for 15 minutes on a slow night at 9pm.

Food poor. Pizza dough appeared pre-frozen. Starter not warm. Dessert good but that's about it! Overpriced for the lack of quality.

Often pop in here during shopping trips. Food is always decent - you know what you're getting and staff pleasant. Ella served us on this occasion and, though busy, she was very attentive, smiley and checked in on us several times. Nice experience. Thank you.

Stopped in for a meal on 12/3, waitress seemed way more interested in speaking to friends sat a few tables down, whole service felt like we were an inconvenience, this went as far as basically having the dessert menu thrown at us without a word spoken, then whilst ordering dessert we asked for the bill, which after waiting for 25 minutes, we ended up having to ask for at the bar, all other members of staff were lovely.

We went in to go for a birthday lunch and as soon as we entered the restaurant we were greeted by a young girl that was very rude. we sat down and ordered. when i asked for carbonara she asked me which one and i asked what the difference was between the two options as i hadn’t noticed that there was two different options. she rolled her eyes and scoffed at me and then gave me a half arsed explanation. we waited for a starter for 30 minutes which was the mozzarella garlic bread once we received it and tried it. it was covered in half a ton of onions and couldn’t even taste the garlic it was utterly disgusting. when trying to get the waitresses attention we were ignored for an hour until our other dishes came out. we got a carbonara and a pizza. the pizza was good but the carbonara barely had any sauce to it and the pasta was way too hard it was also very over salted. overall the experience and the food was disgraceful.

We were celebrating a 70th birthday and we were a big table The staff were simply brilliant. Made us so welcome and made the celebration that extra bit special Thank you!

We had the 3 course set menu for £24.95 and it was excellent value for money! Highlights were the garlic bread with cheese & caramelised onions, and the lemon swirl cheesecake. Portions were generous and our servers were friendly. Thanks for a lovely evening!

Amazing service, fantastic food , we were made to feel welcome from beginning to end, such lovely staff, went for my daughter’s birthday with her friends, even sang happy birthday to her, will be recommending here to my friends and family and will definitely be coming back

I ordered a pizza to be delivered by Uber eats, the delivery was excellent however the food was absolutely horrific. Working away from home I thought I’d order from a chain establishment for reliability but the pizza I received was simply inedible. There was that much grease on the pizza the poor dough needed a life ring yet somehow the pepperoni topping was cremated and ready to have its ashes spread. A regrettable experience with food abominations clearly being created by someone not competent with a microwave let alone a pizza oven and equipped kitchen. Fire extinguishers at the ready people the chefs on fire either with embarrassment or grease.

Came here the last time we visited and we thought we'd come back. Very friendly welcome and no waiting. (Had a booking) food was fab, staff were very friendly and helpful. Our daughter really enjoyed the kids menu. Especially the fresh carrot sticks and pasta crisps. Would recommend to anyone with kids plenty of fresh meals to choose from.

Zizzi in Liverpool One is Popular for a reason, both the food and Service is excellent 👌 and when you add to that the friendly atmosphere you'll understand why people make it their regular. Their range of Drinks 🍸 is sure to please all tastes . They also do Gluten and Allergy free dishes . If you have a sweet tooth then the Deserts are a must. The restaurant also has a seating area upstairs..they also do Delivery..

My daughter and I visited this lovely Italian Restaurant last night . Visiting Liverpool for the day as a Birthday treat for my Daughter . We had a very warm welcome ,Mocktails were so tasty , and our food was served in a timely manner . Freshly cooked , delicious . Staff very attentive , and did not feel rushed . Lovely ambience , and will definitely visit again .

The food was below par, either warmed up or put in the fridge. The service e was incredibly slow, for what was a quiet night. The cold drinks were warm to the touch. Wouldn't recommend.

I had a lasagna and dish had two chips on it also it looked like my Granddaughters pizza had been warmed up as you couldn't see the cheese and it was paper thin. It was our annual Christmas meal but l still can't believe a dish would be served with chipped pieces off it, it's unhygienic. Everyone should know this if they have done a hygiene course. Put me off having a dessert. Also now you are asking there was part of my Daughter's food missing which the waitress realized and took it back so God knows what was happening in that kitchen. Disappointed!

Food was pretty bland but the service was unacceptably slow. Nothing positive to say about the place.

Waited 30 minutes to order a drink. Food was mediocre. The waitress that served us wasn’t welcoming or polite and rather unpleasant. Slammed plates down in front of us that hard they could’ve cracked. Rather unprofessional as I and one of my friends ordered alcohol (we’re both 19 years of age) however were dining with 2 people clearly underage and didn’t ask to check our ID. We understand the importance of this as we work in hospitality ourselves and are aware of the basic requirements and standards of a restaurant.

Just here now if you come make sure you ask for cold beer our drinks were left on the side for ages and after the starter came staff to busy on there phones daughter ordered chips never got them i asked them got them when we finished our food what a laugh can honestly say we won’t be back and it wasn’t even busy well the staff were on the mobiles and chatting amongst themselves be warned

We had the most outstanding service on our visit to Zizzi’s today. The server was so patient and attentive, especially as we had quite a rowdy group of kids. Hats off to Paige, who looked after us so well, and all the other staff who helped us today.

£16.95 for pasta dish that probably cost 85p to produce. Cold. Sent back, Came back hot on top, lukewarm underneath and pasta now like rubber. One very polite professional member of staff doing everything. All others messing about behind bar. Very unprofessional and scruffy staff. If acceptable to management they are the ones needing training. Don't believe these photos. Place needs a good clean and definitely tidying up. All sorts left on counter around the kitchen area. Toilet facilities leave a lot to be desired.

We love dining at Zizzi when we visit Liverpool, always an excellent meal and great service, the lasagne is my favourite so rich and tasty, I just love it 😋

Service for a family was brilliant, wouldn't have be able to be more helpful if they tried!! Such attention paid to our little ones and the food was fabulous too.

Very efficient service. Chicken Calabrese was fantastic. The twisted affogatos are delicious. The Sticky Pig is well worth trying. You can use Tastecard there as well.

Chips under sauce and chicken is bad idea was disgusting. Pasta with prawns was ok i like it. 3/6 knives on the table was dirty. Jug with water also need better clean.

With a nice atmosphere and food, it's especially disappointing providing this a one star review. I've never done this before, for anything - this was just a very, very special experience. The service ranking was far below any 1 star deserved. We were consistently ignored for hours at a time, whether it was for ordering the food in the first place, ordering dessert, or the worst case: The bill. We waited two hours for the bill alone. It was as if they didn't want payment - held hostage to them avoiding us while we sat in the middle of the restaurant, at our tables, trying to get their attention only to be ignored. With two staff members walking around, plenty of other people were delivered the bill during this time. They left. They moved on. They sat new people, who received their food. We were having a nice time originally, and the food was quite nice, but on our busy day with a time limit for how long we had available, entering Zizzi's a little before 1PM on the 15th of November, 2023, then leaving well after 6PM had already passed, in the dark, on the way back, caused us to miss other designations for the day. Suffice to say, this is the worst service experience we've ever had. Other times servers have been rude or dismissive or made mistakes - we've all been there, seen that -, but at least they delivered and processed orders and didn't ruin half your entire day. When we were finally acknowledged, after dozens of times of being walked past and ignored when we tried to ask, there was no apology for the delay, no compensation, not even an acknowledgement of it when we mentioned it - they just moved on. If the food and atmosphere were the whole rating, this honestly was a nice experience - but we have lives, and we didn't go out to spend half our day at a restaurant being ignored by the staff when we tried to pay to leave. They weren't overbooked. There weren't too many people, with only a handful of other tables. We weren't rude, either; quite the opposite, at every given opportunity we were polite and amicable, and we weren't noisy or boisterous, with only two of us talking gently, softly, the entire time. There was no justification to this. We were not even properly checked into the table for the app, so we could not obtain it manually that way either. It quite frankly felt like targeted discrimination, else they seemed to think we were polite enough to ignore and push off until we snapped in patience, and ideally we'll never go there again. Our other commitments were thankfully able to be rescheduled. Dining here was a mistake. We came here on time for lunch, missed our plans and didn't have time for dinner. A cosy atmosphere and good food is not worth the disgusting level of service they delivered by refusing to provide us our food or the bill for unreasonable amounts of time. A valuable lesson learned on avoiding Zizzi's.

Lunch was great quality. Freshly cooked and quickly served in a clean and welcoming environment. Jason was the best waiter I have ever had. He gave plenty of advice and help, topped up with a large dose of humour.

It was a busy Saturday afternoon and in Liverpool but it was easy to get a table for me and my son. The service was quick and the food was really good! We'll be back.

Nice setting and the staff are attentive and welcoming. Slight mistake on order but was soon rectified. Food was average. I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend it and there's far better Italians in the city.

Me and my husband went on a Sunday night and my goodness it was fantastic and the staff were warm and welcoming even when we arrived right before they closed. It was amazing.

We ate here on a Saturday evening, the food was bland i ordered the calamari for starters which were ok but quite bland and my partner ordered the chicken strips again they were very bland. For my main i ordered meatballs which was a mushy bland mess. I never had one meatball in the meal it was all just mush and had no sauce which made it very dry.My partner had the bolognese which again was bland. Our son had pizza which was actually very nice and tasty. Our server never offered us any condiments and my partner was not offered any cheese on his dish. I left nearly all my main and not once was i asked if it wad ok. We never ordered desert as i just wanted to pay and leave. The garlic bread was the best bit of the meal.

1st time visited Zizzi and waited about a few minutes. Taken orders and meals did not take that long to wait. I ordered Casareccia Pork & Garlic Meatballs. I ended up with Chicken in it not meatballs. End the day member of staff told us to give my meal free of charge. Service was good.

Was not happy regarding service staff. I was at restaurant with my grandsons and they we were all still eating when the waitress asked had we finished I said no and she asked would we like the desert menu surely this would be after we had finished eating our main course ?? I explained twice we were still eating and no to the deserts. 5 minutes later she asked can I take your plates again I said we are still eating. (I have taught my grandchildren not to rush there food whilst we are in a restaurant). She then said would you like a box for it. We were still eating!!! I asked are you wanting us to leave without finishing our meal, her reply was that the children seemed to not be eating !!!! Why ?? Unfortunately I was not happy and asked for the bill. When paying I was asked what the problem was by who I think was manager/assistant manager and explained, he said he would have a word ?? Food that we had was nice. Go again probably not as don't live near it.

Very bad . Waited at the door to be seated . The waiter already had an attitude. Asked him how the £23.95 3 course menu works, he didn’t explain correctly and got annoyed when we wanted to order . After his bad attitude and not able to explain or take our order we got frustrated that he was not able take our order and we just left. Not recommended.

Lovely food lovely staff, unfortunately we where seated at the table by the door so ate my meal wearing my coat. I would have stayed longer and had a dessert but I was too cold apart from that everything else was amazing

I would have scored higher if it weren't for the complete lack of consideration for my situation in the restraunt today. I came in with my boyfriend after a hard day in work for a nice meal. Everything was lovely in regards to the food. The major issue was the service. When it came to paying for the bill myself and my partner were going to pay halves and I started to cough profusely Infront of the waiter holding the card reader. My boyfriend was extremely concerned as I couldn't breath well and all the waiter did was stand there with an unimpressed face as if to say just hurry up and pay and leave. My boyfriend said I think she might need some water to stop her coughing. The waiter replied "Should I come back later then?" This was for my part of the payment which I was going to pay after my cough stopped. In the end my boyfriend paid in full and we left in anger but also to go to the walk in centre which it has now been declared I need a chest x-ray for suspected health issues. I have never had a meal and been treated so badly ever. We won't be coming back again for the foreseeable future.

Quick service and good tasting meals

Started off ok, staff were nice and friendly. Had to ask for clean cutlery as both sets had bits of hard food stuck to them. Starters of arancini and chicken skewers were quite dry and not that tasty. Main course pizza was nice but risotto was completely burnt. I was honestly almost sick when I tasted it. Sent it back and both the supervisor and the server said oh yeah I could smell that it was burnt! Then why on earth did you serve it to us? Took it away and replaced eventually but no offer of a reduced price for the inconvenience. Overall not worth the money, won't be back!

Never going to a zizi's again. The food we were giving was not worth the prices. You'd at least expect some presentation. I wish I'd taken photos of how basic it was. I'm glad we had tesco vouchers to pay for most of it but can't believe how much it cost. Thankfully the staff where lovely. No issues there. I just think it's over priced for sub par food. And I'm still hungry

Really disappointing Manchester branch far superior. On the positive side they accommodated us when we arrived an hour early. The garlic and mozzarella bread was delicious as was the honeycomb cheesecake. However the sea bass coating isn’t great and the heritage carrots were a huge letdown being more than al dente And the wait between courses was unbearably long even though it was not full. Too few staff though. Would think twice before returning to eat here.

Food was delicious, but service was not good. There seemed to be very few staff. We waited 30 mins for our first drink, and people that came in after us were being served first. Despite this, the staff were friendly and the food great.

This spot is great for a happy vibe meal out. The menu is amazing with lots of choices. Vicki - our hostess- was diligent about checking for allergies and offered some great advice on the food choices. The food was amazing, hot and beautifully presented; (even the house wine was spot on). Our other waitresses, Evie and Ella were helpful, clearly loved their jobs/the brand and actually cared that we were having a great time. I’m not generally the type of weirdo who gets staff names but they really deserved high praise. Everyone was working so hard and there was a real team ethos, which created a generally happy vibe. I’m not normally into chain restaurants but this didn’t feel like one…. It was clean, well run and felt special.

Restaurant was clearly understaffed which is not the fault of the staff. Although it was clear to see waitresses avoiding and out right avoiding tables that were looking to be served. Staff walking around the restaurant aimlessly and not serving customers. They also engaged in many group conversations involving the whole staff on the floor whilst there were clearly customers waiting. It was really quite shocking. Bathroom hadn’t been cleaned and sink wasn’t draining the water.

Appalling visit. Waited at the door for a very long time whilst unhappy looking staff kept looking and walking off, in the end the manager came and directed us to a table. After 20 minutes no server had come to our table. Other tables that came in after us were seen. In the end we tried to get attention of servers but no one looked bothered. We ended up leaving without ordering anything not even a drink

Drinks took forever. Still hungry when I left and had 3 courses. Toilets were grim, ladies and gents both smelled really bad. No one cleaning throughout the shift by the look of things.

We were starving and thus place doesn’t disappoint. Pizzas, carbonara, spaghetti bolognaise were ordered. Empty plates and decent sized portions too. Lovely table by the window, we we’re warned it was a sun trap and warm but we were hungry. And it was warm too but lovely. Great Pinot too and lovely staff.

You generally know what you're getting with Zizzi and this was no exception. Food was good quality and tasty and the service was efficient and friendly. Good value.

Service was slow and the pizzas we had were over cooked and dry. Also overhead a waitress laughing that they had turned someone away when there were actually spaces available. Overall a disappointing experience compared to other Zizzi experiences I’ve had at different restaurants.

Host that met us at door with pale makeup, went out for a smoke came back didn’t wash her hands and proceeded to grate Parmesan on my mates pasta with her hands. Also very patronising and rude

Staff nice service good if you like service come here but if you like nice food don’t come here pizza taste likes cardboard and not enough cheese on pizza.

Bruschetta starter was whole plum tomatoes on a crust. Needed knife and fork to eat it. Margherita pizza......how can you make a mess of that? Very little cheese. Barely any sauce. Terrible meal.

The night started off great until the server spilled the salsa dip off the serving platter onto my jeans, shoes, shirt and wife's handbag. Don't get me wrong, the server couldn't apologise enough and got me plenty of paper towels for me to clean myself...

First time in Liverpool and had been to other zizi’s in Sheffield and Scotland in the past, both times we had a good experience with nice food and good service, so to my surprise it was like we had gone to a back street cafe the food was all dried up as though it had been nuked in a nuclear oven, the waitress noticed how dry it was and offered to put some more sauce on my dish, I would never put salt on my food but i asked for some to aleast have a bit of flavour on my food, so it is with regret that we won’t be eating at any other zizi’s restaurant again,

Had a wonderful meal here tonight. There's a wonderful choice on the menu, especially for vegetarians. There's plenty of tables inside and out. The waitress and Waitress were really helpful and felt like we were a real priority. Our food was absolutely delicious and was really well cooked.
