The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

We rocked up for lunch only to discover that the pub is closed on Thursday lunchtimes. However, as we were discussing what to to the lovely owner came out and offered to open up just for us. Fabulous pizza and beers, all served with a smile. Thank you so much.

1st time have ordered from there food was good but 1 of the tubs had come open so maybe look at better packaging

I often come here and it’s always a good experience. Their cakes are delicious and the place is nice and relaxed. Just this time my friend ordered the iced vanilla matcha but it didn’t taste right. I told the manager who was able to quickly rectify and offered us a different drink. So 5 start for customer services

Great experience at Giovanni Restaurant, atmosphere was just perfect and the service was brilliant - Andre & Victoria couldn’t be more friendly and attentive, the service was super quick! Food was delicious, the highlight for me was the scallops - they were cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back soon!

The pizza toppings are fresh, colorful and generous

Very long waiting time. The staff doesn’t inform customers about the delay. People who arrived after us were served and left before we even got our food. The service seems to ignore customers completely.

We went there for dinner, it’s a great location just next to the water The service was lovely and the food was good, both of our pasta based dishes were above average I was surprised to see the prices for the meat portions, nothing less than £30, felt like London pricing with no justification

Por primera vez en mi vida tuve espaguetis « falsos » vongole (vongole = almejas ) : conchas blancas vacías limpias en un lado del plato para la decoración y un poco de carne mezclada con la pasta, probablemente carne de almeja enlatada. Supongo que las cáscaras vacías fueron lavadas de nuevo para el próximo cliente. Absolutamente deshonesto.

Always a fabulous atmosphere, and the food was just as delicious as always.. Service complimented the whole experience - If I could give 6 stars, I would!

Called in whilst on holiday and had the red Thai curry, absolutely awful, just a few small cubes of spicy beef and rice it was just so dry, It came with 2 poppadoms which were okay. We visited the pub previously and just had a drink which was fine, but I won’t go back there again even for a drink after being served with such substandard food. Very disappointed.

Italian style restaurant convenient for The Young and Old Vic theatres. It's busy at pre theatre evening times, bustling but happy. The food is not fine dining but more pizza/pasta style which was fine for us. Prices were reasonable, I would happily go again. Reservations advised, it gets busy!

We found this restaurant in lockdown 2021 and it was great. Not been back for a while and still excellent. Great varied specials too. Very handy pre theatre eatery. Thank you

Food value for money and waitress was attentative.Have a range of parmos if you have the mushroom sauce Topping no cheese or bechamel sauce,how can you call it a harmony.Just a covered on mushrooms chicken schnitzel
