Sunday evening, bleak weather but perfect Covent Garden’s cobblestone solo romance. Dry Kir Royale, London version - go here. Amy and her colleagues at the bar - lovely - seems like a whole emerging Cognac academy here with a lot of enthusiasm, earnest tribute and sincere devotion to former bar managers, research trip stories to Hine etc. Great attitude, enthusiasm, joy, conviviality and a good vibe. You guys should consider doing cognac tasting sessions - education, awareness too - sustainability focused. Also, I think, except from Sidecar, VC, Sazerac I don’t know much about cognac forward drinks too. And except the Cognac show and events by Whiskey Exchange I don’t think there are many others too. A wonderful family experience in a welcoming restaurant. A big plus for the staff: Anas, the restaurant's manager, and Killian, who took excellent care of us and even gave us a tour of the premises. Good value for money, I recommend it to both French fans of our cuisine and English visitors curious to discover it. And a big plus for the location!

While the taste of the food was excellent, there must have been something wrong with it as we both fell ill at night. Nevertheless, the service of the French sommelier and talented Nepali girl, greatly elevated the restaurant’s level.

Delicious. Great service. Probs a bit quiet as we had booked for 5pm on a Sunday evening. But a cute place and will be back.

We had a fantastic meal. Your staff are brilliant really cheerful, informative. Our only problem was not unique to you but background noise.

Very good food but it’s a shame to wait so long for a grilled steak and fish! The green beans were too al dente But the sauce was delicious

Overall the meal was great! One comment would be the level of salt, most dishes tasted a little on the salty side.

The Henri team were amazing hosts, they attended to all of our needs and were warm and welcoming and happy to get involved to make our night enjoyable. The food was delicious and the private dining space was incredible, it was large spacious room with a beautiful bar! Would highlight recommend

We booked a table for 8 pre theatre and arrived before 6 pm. Despite telling the staff several times we had to leave at 7 10 pm to get to the opera house , our main course arrived about 7 minutes past 7 ! We managed to gulp a couple of mouthfuls but had to leave the majority of our food as didn’t want to be late for the ballet. We had the pre theatre menu so there really wasn’t any excuse, and wasted our money.

It took an hour for our course to arrive; my wife’s selection had to be taken back while mine was delayed and delayed (scallops). Pity as this was our special anniversary dinner and it did not go to plan. It took well over an hour for our main course also . Food was excellent and service was (finally) apologetic. Pity as in previous visits, everything went well. The manager took the cost of the scallops from the bill which was a very fine (voluntary) gesture.

Great food. Really stunning. Wonderful staff. Accommodated an extra diner at late notice. We were well looked after thank you.

Service was good except that I had to ask to be offered the pre-theatre menu. The couple next to me hadn't been offered it and were not happy. It seems quite cynical not to offer it - not impressive. Pre-theatre menu food was not bad (carrot rapee and chicken salad) but not a patch on the snacks which were superb. Comte was average and served too cold. I hope the rest of the menu reaches the heights of the snacks. Drinks were excellent - I had a Martini and a carafe of the red burgundy hence the overall price.

Great restaurant and food. Definitely try the savoury caneles and the steak frites. One criticism is that the tables for two are very very small and some of the plates for dishes are very large, so a bit of a plate to table mismatch in ratios!

We had a great time. The food was all great. Our table was pretty uncomfortable, there wasn't enough space for everyone's feet/legs. But everyone loved their food and drinks! Thanks!

An early evening (5.30pn) delicious supper with a friend, after a long day visiting exhibitions. Jambon and celeriac remoulade to start... extremely generous portion which we shared with absolutely superb baguette. From the charcoal grill we shared an enormous pork chop and fries, both excellent. I took home the pork we couldn't quite finish. Coconut sorbet for dessert, an intriguing smooth creamy texture for a sorbet. I tried the Riesling Kabinett as the suggested wine pairing and it was totally delicious. We had well made cocktails before eating and a carafe of rosé with our meal. Thanks for moving us to another table , much appreciated. A very busy restaurant which quickly filled up. Efficient and knowledgeable service . My only adverse comment is why weren't we offered the pre theatre menu as well as the full menu?

We were treated with civility even though members of our party were unavoidably late. Enjoyed the food and ambience and will certainly go there again.

Porciones pequeñas y caras, tratando de obtener tanto dinero de usted como sea posible desde el momento en que entramos - le dijimos al camarero (chico de pelo rizado) nuestro filete estaba frío después de que ÉL NOS PREGUNTÓ cómo era la cena y luego no hizo nada al respecto! I popped in to share a quick drink with a colleague of mine that was leaving and what we found was an amazing place great atmosphere and well priced drinks. We had an amazing bartender Joana who was funny intelligent and made the somber event full of laughter and cheer. I highly recommend the signature cocktail the Anne-Sophie as it was smooth and a little sweet but kept me in the conversation. We didn’t stay for food but I will definitely be back many times if the food matches the service of the staff and the quality of the drinks. Top marks to Joana behind the bar for making the place so welcoming.

Cena previa al teatro. Relativamente caro y, aunque en porciones decentes, la calidad de los alimentos, especialmente de los pollos y embutidos, era realmente pobre con carne dura masticable. Al personal no parecía importarle cuando se le mencionó. Mejor relación calidad-precio en otros lugares del barrio para cenar antes del teatro.

This is a delightful restaurant with well prepared French bistro style food served at a very fair price for the area. Very good value. The service is friendly but a couple of tweaks would help. My guest and I were coming to a pre theatre dinner at 5.45 but when the menu came, I was not offered the set menu. I had to ask for it which I always think is a little naff. We wanted to eat quickly but there were long delays in bringing the pudding (sorbet) and in the end we had to leave without pudding. I feel the room feels a little understaffed but that is no doubt what is keeping the price so competitive

Excellent handling of straightforward ingredients: delicious carrot rapee, rotisserie chicken with, of course, proper French fries and French beans - followed by a splendidly indulgent Royal Opera cake! The charming service and Parisian bistro-style atmosphere matched the food.

Disappointing- we were offered at 20% discount. The starter was a large portion of spiralised carrots. The main course was a Caesar salad. poor value for money. the service was satisfactory.

We really enjoyed our visit. It would be really helpful to have a menu with dietaries showing meals that are (specifically for GF) GF or can be adapted to be GF. It would make it so much easier as a customer.

Service was attentive and food was pretty good. They forgot the beans we ordered, and brought a sauce with the fries which we never ordered (still charged £3). Steak was well cooked but tables are very close together (if just a party of 2).

No fue un milagro de Navidad, las bebidas eran horribles! El set piece es como una pesadilla de Santa Claus. £ 15 por un tequila y calabaza diluidos. Fue un milagro pagar la cuenta. Mucho mejores eventos de novedad de Navidad para ir a otro lugar. El restaurante de abajo "henri" (que parece no tener nada que ver con esta farsa) parece una mejor opción. Me siento mal de que esté vinculado a su cuenta de trip advisor. La sensación de oropel, música y papel de envolver fue muy divertida, pero realmente necesitan ordenar las bebidas para que no sientas que te están poniendo lana.

We had booked 'The Chalet' experience in Henri but unfortunately it was cancelled due to the possible weather conditions...we were not notified of this until we got to the restaurant so that was very disappointing 😕 However the absolutely amazing Amy saved the day with her amazing cocktails and chat & overall very pleasant company..thank you Amy. We had a delicious bottle of Red wine and I had 2 equally delicious 'Antoine' cocktails. Even though we didn't get to taste the food, the day wasn't a total disaster thanks to Amy & her amazing customer service.

Beautiful restaurant in the centre of Covent Garden. Went for the cheese fondant experience, great quality cheese and plenty of food to dip. Wish the cheese fondant had a tea light under it throughout eating to keep it dippable.

First time at Henri's, will not be the last. I made a mistake with my booking and the team bent over backwards to accommodate my party. Food was excellent, we shared a whole bunch of things and even ordered seconds. Our server, Amy was incredibly knowledgeable and very professional. Had a lot of fun.

Staff and food were superb but the restaurant is very small and tables and crammed together. Meaning little privacy for conversation and navigating popping to the restroom is impossible without annoying your neighbours.

One of my favourite restaurants in London. Such a cute, romantic vibe! Candles on the table, low-level lighting etc. Food is always amazing and the service is very attentive and knowledgeable.

Amazing! We ate late after the theatre - unlike some restaurants, all the menu was available, service fresh energetic and professional, food delicious. If you could give 5.5 we’d award that to our waiter - attentive, knowledgable and fun!

The place looks lovely but was so disorganised. They had obviously had a busy lunch service but were not prepared for dinner. Our booking was at 5pm (pre theatre) & we were not seated until 5.25pm. We had a drink at the bar (fine) but the bartender was rude, it was complete chaos with dirty glassware, a waiter broke a glass & a piece of glass hit me (told them, average apology), I was given a flat glass of champagne when I was finally sat at my seat which I had to send back & none of this was acknowledged in the bill. It was not fully booked on a busy London Saturday evening in December. A great location for theatre goers & sadly actually excellent food but not worth it unless this was an uncharacteristically bad day.

Reservado con mucha antelación y contentos de que lo hicimos, ya que estaba ya alrededor de 630 en un abarrotado jardín del convento antes de Navidad. Cómodo interior sin pretensiones, buscando todo el mundo como un auténtico bistró francés. El maitre d nos trasladó a petición (nuestra primera mesa estaba justo al lado de la cocina en un estilo de refectorio compartido) y a partir de entonces nos atendió brillantemente una camarera radiante que era genial toda la noche. La comida fue realmente excelente el entrante de jamón y apio ejemplar y las porciones gigantescas (que no siempre es un hecho en estos días...) lo que también se notó fue la calidad de los ingredientes sin atajos en la obtención de lo mejor. Precios muy competitivos para el centro de Londres, en general una muy buena experiencia, esperemos que llegue hasta el final ya que la escena gastronómica de Londres es brutal.

Lovely place with really good food and an outstanding and very well priced wine list. Service was excellent, attentive and charming. You also turned the music down at our request and I think everyone appreciated that, you felt the room relax and quieten, the room is too small for loud music to work. The kitchen was under pressure for which our waitress apologised, one chef down but the food was not adversely affected altho the pork was a little under seasoned for my palate, a grind of salt enhanced its flavour. Will return

Total misunderstanding when you order the chef's recommendation regarding meat, yes you only order meat and nothing else, you are not offered any side dishes, so you are not aware that it is missing until the meat is served, we ordered rib eye and short ribs , both of which were tasteless and boring. It was a very expensive and regrettable experience. Greetings visitors from Denmark.

The steak frites was honestly life changing!!

Very tasty food and our server was attentive and polite. The music was too loud and not particularly appropriate for a French bistro. It was distracting to an otherwise enjoyable meal, especially for a pre-theatre dinner.

It’s a cool place with pretty good food, albeit expensive. They have a great selection of cocktails and the skylight inside adds to the vibe of the place on any day, probs best during the day. The one major issue with the place is the service. The lady with the glasses that I think was the manager really ruined a surprise and put a damper on the lunch we had. On 3 separate occasions we confirmed that we just wanted a candle to be brought out for a birthday celebration. All 3 times (one during the booking and 2 in person), she confirmed it was all sorted and good to go. Yet when the time came we waited and waited but nothing. Really crappy. Then adding to that, when she was walking us to grab our coats, stopped and then just decided to go do something else. Didn’t address it or anything, just left us waiting. Overall, because of the service I won’t be returning.

A delightful lunch, with delicious food (try the inventive and tasty snacks) and an excellent wine list (Pinot Gris from Alsace is excellent). Service was attentive but not intrusive and our waitress had an excellent knowledge of which wines to accompany our food. We will definitely return.

Made an error and booked 7.45am instead of 7.45pm. So when we never turned up for breakfast was sent a message to say sorry we missed our booking. I panicked called straight away as no table available online for 7.45pm. The lady was so helpful and kind an managed to find us a table for that time, thank goodness. We had a fantastic evening was looked after so well by our waitress Neha and waiter Migel. Top marks for those individuals 👏

We visited Henri for my boyfriend’s birthday and it was spectacular. The service was great, but the food was absolutely fantastic. Every single dish was delicious and delectable. Highly recommend the celeriac bread and the scallops (not pictured because they were devoured). But all of it was superb. Do not hesitate to visit and order everything on the menu.

Pit stop for a drink after a long day in central London. Nice cozy atmosphere at the bar. There is also a restaurant that I didn’t try this time. The bar has a big wine list and cocktail menu.

Extremely busy and staff inexperienced. Our table was rocking and not stable. We also were not seated at the time of our booking. Me and my fiancé attended miracle at Henrietta for the Christmas themed cocktail bar.

Having been here many times we decided to try your new concept. The same problem has not been solved in that there is a cold draught running through the restaurant even to the tables near the back. The food was average but did take a long time to arrive and we didn’t have a large cut for 2 just regular mains off the menu. The waiter was excellent which did make up in some way for the slow arrival of the food

Only slight niggle was the air con was cold and it was a very cold day and the very helpful waitress wasn't able to change it. Loved the food : Steak Frites, Fish of the day and two of us had salads.

Great place although the door security kept us waiting outside in the cold for half hour as he assumed we were attending the Christmas pop-up and didn't check that our reservation was for the restaurant. I would've expected a discount on our bill or a complimentary drink as an apology although we weren't offered anything for the inconvenience.

Eggs Benedict were dry and unappetising, not runny. Bacon was solid and brittle. An awful squeeze to get in and out of the table. No English Breakfast tea?!

The food was nice but portions quite small. Service was friendly but did feel slightly rushed. I'd come back for a drink but perhaps less for food. Pretty restaurant and great music, a nice vibe for sure.

Mi esposo y yo fuimos a la Experiencia Milagrosa de Enriqueta... ¡qué broma más absoluta! ¡Totalmente tergiversado! Una pequeña habitación llena de mesas y paredes cubiertas de serpentinas de oropel. ¡No te molestes! El personal es muy agradable, pero eso es lo más lejos que llega. El milagro es el hecho de que la gente está haciendo cola para entrar... Bien hecho al equipo de marketing de Henrietta por este milagro de poner vagos en los asientos.

Super pre-theatre menu. Delicious, fresh food, and great selection of wines by the glass. Definitely French, but with a lovely modern twist to the flavours. Huge portion of frites!! Buzzy atmosphere. No music, so you can still hear other people on your table! Service was excellent - clearly know how to serve what feels like a relaxed meal, even though there is a deadline looming.

Unfortunately no selection for people who have lactose intolerance. My friend only had the option of cauliflower. 1/4 cauliflower without garnish at 21 pounds. The staff tried very hard, but unfortunately it's probably the fault of the chef, who doesn't or doesn't want to take intolerances into account. Very unfortunate.

We were far too closely packed in. Shoulders and elbows were banging into the people next to us, you felt like you were involved in their conversations, it was really negative from that perspective. The waitress was sweet and attentive but didn’t know anything about the menu, couldn’t answer basic questions we needed to know. I would recommend the food but I couldn’t recommend the seating or the expertise of the wait staff.

Really elevated and very well executed french bistro food - service was attentive and extremely well dealt with on changing mind on a wine that was not to style / taste. A must return!
