Very bad service,there was a mouse tail in my food. Horrible and disgusting environment

Very good food. It was worth going to the other end of the city.

I saw the owner walk in the kitchen after being called in due to an injury. The head chef him straight out after 20 mins after making a catastrophe mistake. He said to him he was banned for 3 days, honestly it was a clown show in there. I use to come here to see the owners on a Thursday as they were available, now I come on a Tuesday since they are free Tuesdays. They are always booked up.

Cannot fault this restaurant. Very friendly, thoughtful and accomodating service. Food was delicious, fresh and pieces of art on a plate. Even the bread basket can out do starters and mains in some other establishments. I didn't drink alcohol during my visit and the bar staff did a fantastic job at creating rogue drinks on request. We also received complimentary sweet bites at the end of our meal, post dessert, and the staff were so lovely they gave me fresh fruit to make sure I wasn't left out because of my nut allergy. Highly recommend this restaurant and I want to go back asap!!! The only thing to caveat is I went for a business lunch so did not use my own funds and the portions are smaller at quite premium prices. However, for the quality I think it's worth it. Also, you can look up the prices online before your visit so please don't be put off by those negative reviews in relation to costs. Babbo is also in a very affluent area so I don't know why people were expecting quantity in bulk.

Quirky little place in Mayfair, food was great along with the drinks! Prices werent too bad drinks were a little over priced and the service charge was ridiculous but really good place and definitely return! If your in the area a must visit!

I never leave reviews but my husband and I loved Babbo so much that we felt compelled. The restaurant had a great vibe, the food was beyond delicious and the service was impeccable. Hugely recommend.

What an absolute gem this place is. Literally flawless service, very welcoming relaxed and attentive. Never seen such a great team of people. The food is incredible and the cocktails were a dream. Honestly can’t recommend this place enough, as some one who has enjoyed visiting Italy a number of times, this place blew me away with its food. Wow! Visited here with my partner, had an awful experience in a restaurant last night so really wanted to make tonight a good one! Booked a table for 9pm (we arrived late) we called them and they said not to worry and to relax. Already a big bonus for us as we felt less pressure! Arrived (slightly underdressed) but it is 28 degrees so would be more comfortable in shorts than trousers - again, no judgement, no comments and no less effort out into service - which is what we have received at other restaurants in the town. Service - every single waiter, waitress and barman was incredibly attentive, welcoming, polite and impeccable at their jobs. They all stopped to chat to us, to recommend dishes, wines and cocktails and even though we were the last table to leave, didn’t rush us or treat us any differently. Food - absolutely incredible! I had the veal meatballs and lasagne, my partner had the arancini and the truffle linguini - every mouthful of every dish tasted incredible. We had countless cocktails and every one of them was incredible. We are looking to book a trip back to London purely for this restaurant!

Beautiful fine dining experience obviously. It’s situated at the heart of Mayfair. Very chic Italian! We had an al fresco experience but the tables were super close to each other - even if there wasn’t a pandemic, it would have still felt like people were in your personal space. That said, food was good. Took a bit of time to arrive but arrived hot and nice. Presentation was excellent. Absolute food art. Loved it. The value for money wasn’t great. Think it was over priced for the quality and portions . Good selections of wines though and staff were friendly and professional.

Tip top stuff. Best night ever with Emilio We had free shots, got to request songs and had generally the best night ever!!! Highly recommend

fine dining experience was great. Customer service was heavy on experience but the food took a little too long, pasta was wasn’t perfect but other than that everything else was great. Cocktails was average, starter was great, mains was okay, staff was amazing. Blanket and heater was appreciated for outside dining. Staff was entertaining

This was ok, although I think they put more attention into making it seem like the customers are having a good experience then actually delivering on it. Granted it is difficult right now with restrictions, but my food came out basically ice cold and by the time I found a server who noticed me it was ironically too late to complain. I think they should focus less on trying to be a fine dining restaurant and deliver on good quality, hot food, served in a timely way. Also don’t discount customers who are dining solo, just because someone is eating alone doesn’t mean they won’t spend money nor notice the service and pass recommendations on to friends. End of the day, was good, but wouldn’t hurry to go back there

Due to lockdown and Tier 3, I am yet to have a sit down meal at Babbo however, I have had a couple of absolutely delicious takeaway cappuccinos in the last month and I can highly recommend. Truly great Italian coffee! On my last trip, I was recommended by Bruno, the GM, to try the chicken and avocado panini. It was out of this world delicious! Cannot wait to return for a sit down meal in January.

On Wednesday my partner surprised me with a meal here and I can honestly say it is one of the best Italian restaurants that I have ever been too! Every single person from the front of house ladies, manager, bartender and waiters was lovely! We were impressed by their professionalism and the way they built a rapport with us. Our main waiter was Alisso, he was extremely attentive to our needs and had a brilliant customer service manner. He recommended dishes, regularly topped up our glasses and made sure we enjoyed every part of our meal and service. Me and partner both ordered bread and the "fried squid, prawn and courgette starter". The seafood was fried to perfection! juicy yet crispy. The selection of bread was warm and came with a selection of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. For our mains I had the salt baked seabass as recommended by Alisso and I can honestly say that It was amazing. The fish came with a server who carefully took the fish out of the salt, de skinned & boned the fish. It truly was spectacular and the seabass was so succulent that it melted in my mouth. My partner had the harissa grilled chicken which was moist and juicy with nice mellow spicy kick. My partner didn't have a dessert but I had the chocolate fondant. Once again, I could not fault the tastiness and presentation of the food. To top of our evening, my partner picked the restaurant as David Luiz and Willian own the restaurant, & my partner is a die hard Arsenal fan. We actually met one of them and my partner managed to get a picture with Willian which made his night! All & all this restaurant is amazing, from the location in Mayfair, the interior, ambience, staff and food. I have already recommended this restaurant to my friends, family and the consultants that I work with and I will continue to do so!

I went to Babbo as it was close to the hotel. The reception and service was lovely. I had a beetroot salad and four cheese pizette. The salad of course is always glorious because of beetroot and mix no doubt. But the four cheese - need a revisit. It was hard to distinguish the cheeses in the 4. Although the portion was very good as with the crust just the cheese. The tiramisu had some old reviews that indicated that it came with a cream poured over the dessert. It didn't seem consistent with how it was served then: The tiramisu arrived in a dessertware which what looked like a whipped cream on top of biscuity base. It very dry. All in all it was OK. The inside was cozy and warm and quirky. It's still worth a coming back to try other items on the menu. But sadly I will not be ordering the tiramisu 😔.

Great service, nice staff and amazing drinks

Went in this afternoon, ordered a couple of coffees, they arrived within a couple of minutes of sitting down, the cappuccino was fine however the flat white came out with the consistency of water. Not expected at all, specially as this place was recommended by colleagues. Major let down for the price point.

One of the best Italians in London. The service is great and the food even better. The melanzane and pizzeta are must have , try the raspberry tarte for dessert and you will not regret it .

Had a loads of hair in the food and even spotted 2 snakes around the restaurant. Very disappointed

The owner of this restaurant arrived and within 25 mins my meal had been given to the wrong person who ate it and then had been dropped on the floor on the second order. The owner made countless mistakes this day, and was forced to leave the restaurant after causing a calamity in the back. This restaurant owner is unreliable and the manager wants to get rid of him which will hopefully happen by June 30th. An utter waste of £8 million. Would not recommend this place unless you want a terrible experience. Bin.

Absolutely brilliant restaurant! Superb service and food! They were terrific especially with a baby (high chair provided) and young children, in fact welcoming and for a Mayfair restaurant exceptionally hospitable! Would highly recommend and look forward to going again!

When we arrived, I asked for some olives with my drinks as we were waiting for others to arrive and the olives were so tiny, they were all stone! Once our party arrived, we sat at our table and our food arrived. The food was of okay quality, I had to wait until after everyone else finished their bread starter for mine to come out (mine was gluten free), it's just a bit awkward getting your dish as everyone else is finishing theirs, but I was happy that I was accommodated for! The rest of the food was nice, but nothing special - the two dishes that stood out to me the most was the creme brulee, (that was delicious!) and the white fish was also nice. Unfortunately the steak which I was really looking forward to needed more salt. The service was okay, there was only one other group in the restaurant and it felt like we were being watched closely but that our requests were not being acknowledged or that it was too much trouble to do. It wasn't the friendly environment that I expected. We asked for the leftover cheese board cheeses to take away but received only 2 boxes, one with the full of quite tasteless cheese and one box with the more flavoured cheeses but there were 6 or so cheese boards that weren't touched so not sure where all of that extra cheese went as there only seemed to be one slice of each of the flavoured cheeses inside the box. Overall okay, but their hype and location made my expectations for them quite high and they did not meet them.

Don’t go here, like ever!!! Overpriced, small plates of food which isn’t great. The set menu is not available every day like it says on the website so if you plan to have the set menu always check. Or better yet, choose a different place all together! Also, when they said they don’t have the set menu we wanted to leave and they said they’ll charge us £20 per person!! Which is the cancellation policy for parties of 6 or more. We were 4!! Sorry Babbo, you looked amazing but disappointing like hell.

Food is over rated, took over one hour to arrive. The manager did not solve the issue either.

Not value for money because the food served in very super small portion.ordered lobster pasta, it was hard and 2 small pieces of lobster. Very disappointing. Also, waited 40 minutes for two pasta. How awful. The only positive things is staff is friendly, that's it.

Took my girlfriend to Babbos for our anniversary. The whole experience was amazing. This was my first time going to a fancy pants fine dining restaurant and it was worth every penny. The service was brilliant and the food was delicious. Our waiter was brilliant and we were not rushed at all. The best dining experience I've ever had. I will definitely be taking my girlfriend back again in the new year. Thank you Babbos.

Great service, very expensive for what you get : the quality is good (not excellent) and the size is small. For that price you should either get delicious and small, or good and large, but not tiny and good. Staff was very nice, and overall an okay experience.

Babbo is cute and lovely place with a special design. I love the old Fiat 500 in front of the restaurant to promote the place and the food is excellent.

I was at Babbo with my family and we really enjoyed the dinner there. Everything was perfect: food, cocktails, service. We really liked the Babbo Parmigiana. The best one I have ever tasted. I recommend it to everyone who really wants to know the real taste of Italian food. My kids ate the special Babbo "pizzetta" with white truffle. It was very delicious. Fabulous place to enjoy a nice dinner with your family. We will surely be back. See you soon guys!

We have dined here five or six times and the food and service cannot be faulted. Each time we have taken different guests and they have all agreed that the meal was excellent.

I recently visited Babbo Restaurant with some friends, on arrival the staff greeted us and were very welcoming. Through the entire evening the staff were super-efficient and nothing was too much trouble for them, especially as I had dietary requirements and requested an alternative cocktail that wasn’t even on the menu. The food was 10/10 and the best Italian food that I have ever come across in London, a big thank you to the head Chef, Nicola, presentation and food was exceptional. We tried a variety of dishes, but I have to say my favourite was the deserts, especially the Cheesecake, which was nothing like I had ever tasted before. I will definitely be going back and will take my father for a lunch in December. Great atmosphere for couples or groups of friends, highly recommend!

Delicious Italian Cuisine My friends and I visited Babbo on Friday 25th October 2019 with the aim of a girls dinner and a great atmosphere, a couple of our friends have been to Babbo's and highly recommended it, after a little Online search came across Babbo instantly saw pictures of the dishes and decided to book a table for a group of four at 7pm. From our arrival the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive in every single detailed from explaining various cheeses on the cheese board selection, the ingredients of each dish to serving our food and checking we were happy with out being overwhelming. Everything on the menu is worth trying, in my eyes Babbo’s Chef aims to deliver delicious yet healthy Italian food. There are classic dishes and signature Babbo specials. Every single dish from the starters all the way the desserts, no only did they look like a work of art but accelerated our taste spuds and we wanted to try more. We indulge ourselves with following delicious starters: Cod croquettes, beef fillet carpaccio, mustard dressing & parmesan cheese, Classic mini margarita pizzette, beef tartare served on quinoa crackers, Red prawn tartar with imperial caviar & centrifuge of green apple. Pastas to die for, homemade maccheroncini with porcini mushrooms & Linguine gragnano with lobster. Chefs special Beef cheek with mustard mash potato and cabbage salad, the beef was perfectly cooked it soft and almost melted in your mouth. Desserts out of this world, Cheesecake, Vanilla Panacotta, Titamisu with a delicious coffee ice cream Everything is made in-house, from the pasta to the bread and pastries. Giuseppe was so attentive and offered us to try some of the Halloween specials, we tried and enjoyed the Black Widow cocktail and the special Halloween dessert which as one of my favourite desserts ever! Blood orange SemiFreddo with pistachio sponge, white chocolate was simply perfection. Thank you to head chef Nicola, who personally came to greet us, and to check on us to make sure we are enjoying the food and overall experience. The food was nothing short of perfection, I will be back soon to try the rest of the menu and I certainly recommend the restaurant for the overall experience with the staff and food.

Found a rat in the restaurant in the dining area and informed the staff but they were not at all concerned about it. Nobody got back to us about our concern and upon leaving, we informed them again but they took it very casually and in a very light manner. Not what’s expected from any restaurant, let alone one situated in Mayfair. Not suggested.

Had lunch here and really enjoyed our time. Food is very good but portions are a bit small so suggest to order extensively from the menu. Very friendly staff and fair prices, especially considering it’s location.

We have visited Babbo restaurant because our friends have recommend as it is something we must do, we booked it for Friday night. We were very surprised having absolutely different experience there and nothing similar that our friends told about.

It's a great restaurant got very busy after 9-10pm. A Dj played nice music all night. The food was very tasty. We had salmon with fig which was very nice. Also crocketts, burrata, pasta with mushroom. I had better steak elsewhere. It was too fatty and the meat dry. The desert was tasty. The price like central London price. There was only one toilet downstairs. I've heard this restaurant owned by Chelsea footballers so you might meet with them if you are lucky.

Det här var ju jättegott!! Vi ville prova Luis' ställe, eftersom han är ny i Arsenal. Vi åt Tryffel Arancini, Burrata, pasta med tryffel, salvia och och rosmarin ackompanjerat av ett gott rött vin! Jättetrevlig och uppmärksam personal och vi fick bra hjälp av sommeliern. Priserna på maten var inte alls höga, det var däremot priset på vinet. Perfekt middag, med luftning av vinet intill perfektion.

Hace poco visité Babbo y quedé gratamente impresionado con la calidad de la comida y el servicio. Pedimos el pulpo y los calamares y langostinos fritos como entrante. Ambos deliciosos. La única nota ligeramente negativa fue la porción de la ensalada de pulpo, que era realmente (demasiado) pequeña. Luego tuvimos el escalope de ternera y los tagliolini de trufa, ambos deliciosos. La comida no es cara, teniendo en cuenta la alta calidad de los ingredientes, pero tenga cuidado, el vino sí. El servicio es sobresaliente. Gracias a Giuseppe el sumiller. Gracias Giuseppe por la encantadora charla sobre vinos. Y también gracias a Calim por su destacada profesionalidad. Si tuviera un restaurante o una empresa propia, me gustaría que mi personal fuera exactamente como él.

Llevé a mi hijo aquí para su cumpleaños número 16 y ciertamente no nos decepcionó. ! ! Desde el momento en que una señora encantadora nos recibió en la puerta, hasta el momento en que nos fuimos fue simplemente fantástico. El servicio fue muy bueno, el personal fue muy amable, hablador, extremadamente eficiente y muy acogedor. ! Hicieron nuestra experiencia personal, la comida era absolutamente deliciosa ya un precio muy razonable. Le trajeron a mi hijo un regalo de cumpleaños con una bengala y todos le cantaron feliz cumpleaños, se hizo aún más especial cuando Giroud, el futbolista de Chelsea, también se unió y cantó feliz cumpleaños. No podría haber pedido una mejor experiencia, realmente debes visitar este lugar. Volveremos al 100%. . Quiero abrirme camino a través del menú.

Awesome restaurant would definitely recommend it. Food is amazing and they got rid of those dreadful blue walls and installed red walls that stands out wayyyyy more. Also love the atmosphere. The future of this business is definitely bright.

Restaurant has improved tremendously since 8th August 2019 and now delivers supreme meals with class and no buying the nothingness.
