The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

The food was absolutely delicious and the service was amazing also if you asked for something they would bring it to you instantly,also they were quite friendly to us.

Not the best Italian around, but ok if you need to get something to eat in the area. The server/host was lovely and very attentive.

Just got back from celebrating my daughter's 21st here. There were nine of us. Food, service and atmosphere all fabulous. Definitely will be returning

Imaginarium Bistro Prescot Absolutely terrible considering bought gift voucher for people! Beef tough, roasties and Yorkshire pudding like bullet's , just thrown on the plate too. Sorry I bought vouchers! Poor service, staff weren't interested in comments when asking how was meal? Its gone right down hill since we went March!

This is our local Nero and we switched from another well known chain just up the street because this place is so much better! Staff are all kind and chatty, manager is a legend. Music is always nice and the coffee is good. Pastries are delicious. Thanks to the staff who make my day whenever I pop in.

Disappointing. Reading the other reviews on this restaurant, we must have just gone on an off night. The starters were incredible I have to say but that was all that was good about the meal. Absolutely gutted with the main course as we were looking forward to an authentic crispy pizza base. Unfortunately it was really doughy, good taste just inedible base. Ordered new forest ice cream for dessert not convinced. It may have been but could have possibly been in the freezer for a few years. Bit of a shame. We’d like to go back as this is a local restaurant, hopefully they were just having an off night.

I've had a drink here once or twice before, there is a nice outside terrace. It has lovely quite elegant decor, the staff where friendly and attentive. This time i had a meal with family, lovely and fair value pasta dishes, I would definitely eat there again. It is also in a good position on Church Road, not too far from George Street shops or the seafront.

Tasty mediteranian food and traditional Sunday roast good mix for all ages. Friendly, small place best to book especially for groups.

100% authentic italian pizza I get one every week for myself🍕

Pizza sold by the slice, was so good. There is a good deal for Limoncello (5 shots for £15) Great service and the bar staff are great too. Went here on weekday evening.

Steak that doesn't come with veg nor chips, just sauce, not good enough for me especially for the price! It's nice but need a healthy balance on a plate! Busy atmosphere but nice and friendly.

Ordered a chicken shish kebab & chips, got to say it’s the worst Shish kebab I’ve had. The chicken was sliced?!, dry and chewy probably pre cooked and re heated. The chips were soggy rather than crispy. Needless to say most of it ended up in the bin 😥 On the positive side delivery was within the timeframe given and the guy was friendly.
