Tomamos la opción del menú del almuerzo de 3 platos con una copa de fizz , la comida era mediocre y nos perdimos la copa de fizz luego cuando la factura puede NO se llevan esa moneda de curso legal llamada CASH. No volveremos.

L’antipasto molto buono: pomodori e burrata ottimi come pure la focaccia. Invece l’esperienza dei primi e del secondo e’ stata proprio deludente. Carne buona, ma dura da morire, il primo piatto tagliatelle con gli scampi era praticamente in ammollo in un sugo lento e acquoso. Sembrava una zuppa. L’altro primo di orecchiette con zucchine aveva sopra una marea di molliche di pane che sono diventate una poltiglia. Infine ciliegina sulla torta: hanno aggiunto nel conto senza dirlo 40 sterline. Quando glielo abbiamo fatto notare ha detto che c’era scritto sul menu. Ma credo lo si debba chiedere comunque in quanto non tutti riescono a leggere tutto o magari i non capiscono la lingua

We sat upstairs for our Sunday late lunch visit to this long standing Italian restaurant in Soho. I have passed it many times though this was my first visit. I had tuna tartare to start followed by chicken. I enjoyed both dishes if they were a little fussy for my taste. Of the 2 the tuna was the best dish - the fish was very good. With a decent bottle of Chianti and a coffee in lieu of desert the damage was £75 each for 2. Service was lovely and we enjoyed our meal.

Small overpriced portions and disappointing quality. Won't visit again. We both had sea bass on the pre theatre menu and it was literally a nibble , not a meal .

Fabuloso restaurante en el corazón del Soho. Desde el minuto en que entramos hasta el minuto en que nos fuimos, el personal y el servicio eran excepcionales. Buena elección de comida casera, auténtica también, servido a un nivel muy alto, saludable, abundante y simplemente delicioso. Bien hecho todo el mundo. Esperamos verlos a todos de nuevo el próximo mes. Nuestro nuevo lugar favorito al visitar la zona (desde Aberdeen).

La comida era fabulosa, el servicio era fabuloso, muy buena trattoria, bien vale la pena una visita. Llegó después de un viaje al teatro, muy buen lugar.

Fantastic quality of food and all round service. Pizza was amazing, authentic and full of flavour. Staff were welcoming and ensured you had an enjoyable experience.

We chose from the 3 course set menu and everything ordered was very good. I had the spaghetti Bolognese and Panna cotta which were both delicious. Our server Peter was attentive and very friendly. All four enjoyed our time at Mele e Pere.

This is one of my favourite spots in Soho, a real gem. It's a family run place, the food is authentic and rustic with flare. The staff are attentive and friendly and the place has a great ambience. I love sitting at the beautiful bar downstairs, with a home made vermouth or a spritz and some deep fried ascolana olives, stuffed with nduja (mouthwatering!)

Otro viaje a este maravilloso restaurante italiano en el Soho. Está a 5 minutos a pie de Piccadilly Circus. Teníamos dos martinis con un plato de aceitunas y almendras tostado antes de mano. Luego tres cursos y una copa de Prosecco, cada uno con una factura que vinieron a menos de 100 libras por dos de nosotros!

I ordered whole baby chicken - very tasty but it had four legs and no breast!! Other meals okay - slow service - dishes had to be chased - 12.5% added for service (what service?)

Vine aquí para el 23 libras por 3 platos + champán de oferta y realmente lo disfruté. Un menú muy bueno e interesante - no sólo lo básico que a veces aburrido llegar con menús. Ambos tuvimos el hongo inicial que era de buen tamaño y bien presentado con una espuma de gorgonzola. Ambos también muy sobrevalorado el tiramisu que venía con un helado de café. Fue exuberante. Decoración vibrante.

Fui con un amigo en una oferta bookatable. Decidimos ir arriba, quizás no las más cómodas pero no quedamos durante aproximadamente 3 horas. La comida era muy buena y sabrosa. Usar el cuarto de baño de abajo, los dos estábamos muy sorprendidos de lo bonito que era el restaurante estaba allí abajo. No dejes que el de arriba te desanime, busca abajo.

Hice una pre-cena teatro en otro restaurante, pero nos llamó a última hora para decir que tenía una fuga y tuvimos que cerrar nos mandaron a Mele e Pere. Era tan agradable! Se encuentra en una esquina muy transitada en Soho y parece muy pequeño cuando entras, pero nos dirigieron hacia abajo a un espacio grande restaurante. Decoración muy interesante. Bar enorme donde unas pocas personas estábamos sentados para bebidas y aperitivos. La mesa estaba contra la pared lateral, agradable y tranquilo, así que podíamos escuchar cada otros hablando. Comimos el menú de teatro que tenía opciones muy agradable. Compartimos una ensalada de queso queso burrata entrante que era encantador y perfecto para compartir. Mi compañero tenía Filete de dorada que él declaró era muy agradable, tuve la Orecchiette con mejillones, calabacín y hojas de albahaca. El era un poco menos Orecchiette hecho, un poco demasiado al dente, pero la salsa de mejillones y era muy sabroso. Compartimos un delicioso tiramisú de postre.

Tiny menu but delicious food. The sharing starters are a great choice if you are not that hungry and fancy trying different flavours. The Parma ham and gnocco fritto are pure heaven. I recommend to book for dinner, especially on weekends

Gran restaurante situado en Soho, cerca de Piccadilly Circus y a un paseo de Carnaby St, ofrecía algunos platos muy agradable con un servicio excelente.

He estado allí en una semana de día con mi marido y un amigo dispuesto a tener un plato de pasta para cenar. Todos pedimos espaguetis con almejas y nos quedamos muy sorprendidos sobre el costo de la antena y el tamaño pequeño. El plato de pescado también era pobre y un poco ácidos.

Es posible pedimos mal, pero la comida que ofrecen en el menú antes era claramente mediocre. El restaurante parece que piensan como un bistro país en Francia, pero distaba mucho de eso. Aún así, el lugar estaba muy concurrido, así que puede ser mejor que nuestra impresión. Sin embargo, hay mejores restaurantes teatro antes del West End, así que ¿por qué nos molestamos.

Después ha sido pocas veces a Mele e Pere en el pasado y siempre tenía comida estupenda con lo más destacado de la berenjena a la parmesana, estábamos muy emocionados de volver. La última noche fuimos, pero para nuestra sorpresa el menú cambiado mucho y también el sabor. Teníamos queso burrata, betarraga ensalada, entrecot, rodaballo y atún o ensalada de sandía. Todos los platos eran sabor falta 5, tuvimos que añadir una gran cantidad de sal a cada plato tratando de traer los sabores, pero la verdad es que no era demasiado sabor. Es realmente una vergüenza. Yo y mi pareja son tanto chefs, así que no tardaron en darse cuenta de que el restaurante debe cambiar el chef. Pedimos a la camarera que era una chica muy agradable de Eslovenia y sí lo hicieron cambiar el chef. Espero que volver a pronto!!

One of hundreds eating localities in the neighbourhood. Menu looked very enticing. Extremely friendly waitress, who tailored the speed of our dinner to be on time for the musical. Rabbit was tender, bream somewhat bland. Food could use more seasoning overall. Fairly priced.

Fuimos a Mele E con la familia verdadera y Pere amigos. El menú es excelente, con un montón de platos italianos tradicionales. Pedimos cuencos de pasta para los niños, lo cual era muy claramente casero y preparado al dente. La salsa ragu de carne era un poco salado, pero la porción era abundante y llegó rápidamente (importante para niños que tengan hambre!).

The atmosphere downstairs was nice but both pasta dishes were horribly oily and salty. Burrata was also unnecessarily drenched in olive oil and the paring with hard peach did not work. Service was good but food disappointing or don't go in search for good pasta!

Yo estaba temprano, llegar como lo hizo alrededor de las 12:25 pm para una 1:00 pm almuerzo con mi amigo Richard. Me recibió una chica encantadora, sonriente detrás de un pequeño bar en la zona de comedor al nivel de la calle. Ella para ver si había una reserva en nombre de mi amigo, y luego me ofrecieron una copa mientras yo estaba esperando, así que tuve un café americano. Un buen café. Al instante me sentí relajado y cómodo. A petición de ella me dijo su nombre era Zene (pronunciado Zee - na). Ella cortés escuchó mi absurdas responsable mientras me sentaba en un taburete en la ventana que da a la calle y aburrido su Brewer, estoy seguro, con mi creo que yendo a muy lugar cuando ha sido Topo Gigio.

Quiere tener una comida muy buena antes de un espectáculo del West End, a un precio razonable, sin prisas, y agradable? Tuvimos una agradable comida en Mele e Pere. Su casa es luz, vermut, pero sabrosa. El pez espada ahumado era un aperitivo siciliano único. El filete a la parrilla de besugo era un delicioso principal. Había espacio para el postre, pero sólo un sorbete. El restaurante pierde algunas marcas en el ambiente, mientras estábamos sentados en el sótano sin luz natural. Tuvimos tiempo para dar un paseo en el Strand antes del espectáculo. Un gran comienzo de la noche!

Gran lugar para comer, cerca de Piccadilly. No estaba lleno, cuando yo estaba allí para una comida pre-teatro, así que se sirve lo más rápido posible. La comida era muy sabrosa y buena relación calidad-precio y no su típico italiano que disfruté, a diferencia de algunos turistas que venían en busca de una pizza a la brevedad.

We visited this restaurant before seeing a show at the London Palladium theatre. It was a pre theatre deal for £23 per person of a 3 course meal with a glass of prosecco The food was very good we had feta cheese and beetroot truffle , pasta with beef and tiramisu with a bottle of house red. All was excellent and the staff very polite and service good. We will be back.

Had dinner here with a friend on a Friday evening. We did book in advance and this was definitely necessary as the restaurant was busy. Its a lovely restaurant with an up stairs part and a downstairs with a big bar area and more restaurant seating at the back. Lighting and music all perfect. We started with a cocktail each (obvs vermouth based) and then shared a carafe of red wine. All very good and the waitress was most helpful with her suggestions.To start we shared a deep friend squid and a burrata, both of which were delicious. This was a perfect sized starter for the two of us.My friend had the Turbot and I had the lamb as main courses. The lamb was very very good! Apparently so was the Turbot.We couldn't fit in a dessert but wished we could have and they looked yummy! Overall a lovely restaurant, nice atmosphere, great food and drinks and perfect service. A new favourite and I will be back!

Lovely restaurant with lots of seating, serving true Italian food. We were a large party of 13 people and were all seated together downstairs. Good atmosphere and cheery waiting staff.

I have dined here on an evening but this was my first time for lunch. We were not disappointed! Great menu and value (3 courses & glass of fizz for £20). Lovely vibe about the place and really good service from the staff.

Found this place on bookatable.com with an offer of 3 courses and a glass of prosseco for £20 each which was a bargain.Food was pretty decent, 3.5 out of 5. The set menu for the deal I booked was small but ample with a varied offering of dishes. Left both me and my date feeling a little odd once we left though but the food was tast and the prosecco was great.Service was pretty good, 4 out of 5. The actual resturant is really good, well designed with a tasteful decor. Quite easy to find from Piccadily Circus tube station.All in all the resturant itself has few faults and I'd go back again for the great value deal they had on offer.

I wanted to find somewhere unpretentious but with great food to meet up with friends I hadn't seen for a long time and this seemed to fit the bill. It was our first visit. We arrived for an early dinner at 6:30 and from the greeting at the door to the very end the service was wonderful, especially our waiter, who was attentive whilst being unobtrusive. The food was very nice too. Our party had between us steak, rabbit, ragu, calamari, lamb, peanut butter ice cream and tiramisu. I have tried tiramisu in lots of places but this was the nearest to my sister-in-law's which is the best I've ever eaten. Everything was very nice and by the time we left around 9:00, the place was buzzing. I would definitely return.

Arrived early though we had a booking the restaurant were happy to seat us. We took a table upstairs which felt very buzzy. The menu is not hugely extensive but being vegetarian I think that there is something for everyone. I'm not sure how strictly vegetarian the non meat meals may be as nothing on the menu had v symbols and not sure if the risotto contained parmesan for example. However I was too hungry to be put off and it was worth it! Meat eaters said the steaks were great too.I would thoroughly recommend!

Top service, great food and nice atmosphere! If you want Italien food in London, this is the place. I could go back next time

Très agréablement surpris par ce restaurant bon accueil et bonne nourriture italienne. Ma fille de 12 ans mangeant très peu s est régalé et de plus il existe deux tailles pour les plats donc pour petite faim c est parfait.A recommander à deux pas de Picadilly.

Just off Regent street - don't be put off by the street appearance - which looks more like a bar - , downstairs there is a great restaurant with a super Italian ambiance. We had a special menu £18 including a glass of Proseco - 3 courses of well prepared food with that little extra touch to make them special. Interesting wine list and service staff who actually know about the wine And the food. We will be going again.

We we got a discount meal from the Railway, so I guess they are trying to drum up business. Very nice place with great social atmosphere, but my food was not very good. My husband liked his though. A two because of the atmosphere and service was good.

Italian restaurant with delicious food. Restaurant is situated in the basement so you would pass it quickly wich would be a shame ;-)We were there for a business diner and took the X-Mas menu. Very nice starters (different kinds of "small" plates), a very good second plate (although, I didn't knew what it was except the risotto ;-) ) and a delicious desert. The quantity was more than enough, the quality too, the prices were very acceptable. Only minor point: restaurant is very noisy.

Loved the meal I had at Pele E Mere. A friend and I tried a few little starters between us - the fried mozarella was amazing and then I had the ragu. All washed down with a delicious inexpensive bottle of wine. Would highly recommend a visit - I will definitely go back.
