The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

Not the fastest service, but a clean comfortable well laid out restaurant. The liked the atmosphere and choice of background music which presented well the Italian theme. Pity the staff don't have a uniform to match. The food was absolutely fine.

A family-owned Italian restaurant with a service in the style of McDonalds. Often quicker to turn over a table than to serve the ones already there. Two chefs at peak time on a Saturday night putting one dish through the pass at any one time. Loud groups of people and cramped back to back seating. Needs some work.

Precioso italiano con un gran personal. Comí la bruschetta vegana para empezar y un espagueti Napoli con setas y calabacín para un principal que era muy sabroso.

We've been meaning to try this restaurant for a while whilst staying in the nearby hotel. Today, we finally got the chance to and I'm glad we did. We went for lunch, didn't have a booking but were accommodated. All staff were very friendly and attentive. The service was quick and nothing too much trouble. The food was delicious. Well presented and very tasty. I'd definitely visit here again and thoroughly recommend it.

After having waited to go for so long, I was a bit disappointed with the food. It is all very good but pretty much aligned with every other Italian restaurant. Still a shame if it closes - the atmosphere is great

Booked Christmas dinner with family, four adults and four kids. Table was beautifully decorated, dinner was absolutely lovely - everything cooked to perfection ( and plenty of it ! ). Staff were very friendly and very efficient. Couldn't find fault if we tried - even came away with a couple of tupperware boxes of vegetables for a fry up on Boxing Day. Well done to everyone for a wholly enjoyable meal.

Had a quick lunchtime beer with burger and chips. Very good. Only a few regulars in but friendly.

Went for a quiet lunch at their opering time. Menu had some nice variety, food tasted great, and service was solid too. We will be coming back.

This is my favourite place to eat out in Bristol. Reliably delicious food, full of flavour, and a good range of choices, including vegetarian. Only ever had great service. Highly recommend.

Lovely service - friendly and helpful. Really good food. Found ourselves in Bolton and tbh there aren't alot of places to choose from but this is a gem of a place. It was very busy though so book. Parking close by.

There can be very few restaurants as good as this left in merry old England. Reasonably priced and no screeching music being blasted at you either. I had prawns to start which were massive and beautifully cooked. Friends had a variety, all of which were praised. I had liver and bacon done Italian-style. Perfect. Desserts were beautiful. In an era where celebrity chefs are charging a fortune for sub standard cooking, this restaurant deserves every accolade. I cannot recommend it enough. Don't wait - go now.

Es una pizzería que ofrece comida decente, con dos ventajas sobre otros establecimientos de la zona: el precio es moderado y no hay sorpresas, porque el servicio está incluido: en definitiva, respetan al cliente. Solo por esa razón, vale la pena volver!

The best fiorentina pizza outside Italy I have tasted. Egg on pizza runny, ingredients tasted fresh, just devine. Helpful, friendly staff. Great atmosphere.
