We visited for our dads birthday meal. First timers and wow we’ll be back. What a fabulous evening. We had starters, mains and desserts; variety of pizzas, pasta dishes and sweet treats. The food was really tasty and plentiful. Staff were great, atmosphere was lovely and the bonus of entertainment for a magician topped off the night. Can’t wait for our next visit.

Luckily for us we swerved the Premier Inn next door and booked here at Al Bivio Top service and food and a lovely venue with atmosphere and warmth. The staff were so welcoming, the service was exceptional and the food was amazing at a very reasonable price. Met at the door, asked if wanted to hang out coats, seen straight to our table, very attentive staff with a smiles and a genuine warmth. Would definitely recommend 100% and will return when next in the area

We had quite a mixed experience at Al Bivio, where we had to eat as the neighbouring Premier Inn had made a hash of their evening meal provision. We went on two occasions: an excellent pizza, with a generous home-made base, and a delicious pasta dish with chicken and white wine. However, from the Specials lists, a lasagne was quite tough, and my seafood risotto over-salty, though I would add that it was generously filled. A pet theme of mine: this restaurant is NOISY! Not one single absorbent surface anywhere, just a bare glass frontage and plain walls that reflect sound. Having a conversation in here feels like hard work.

A first visit and dubious due to previous reviews we judge as we find. Prebooked, arrived ten minutes early. We’re not greeted or checked in just walked past a couple of times by a member of staff then eventually waved at and pointed to a table. About another ten minutes and we were given menus. The table wasn’t clean or set. 35 minutes after our arrival the waiter arrived to take our order. A further ten minutes and our drinks arrived, wine poured and splashed over the table. The bottle slammed into the cooler gave the impression that the staff member wasn’t happy. Starter eventually arrived, Grilled Halloumi, cold. Melanzane alla Parmigiana hot tasty served in a chipped bowl. Mains, spaghetti bolognaise okay, about the same as I could cook. Saltimbocca, Veal with Parma ham and baby mozzarella. No sign of the mozzarella and fortunately the waitress noticed how tough the veal was that she brought a steak knife. Veal smothered in Cayenne pepper. Busy but lacking in atmosphere. Some staff attempted to save the day but the visit was lost. We ate as we were hungry and it was late in the day. The kitchen /staffing needs some serious sorting. Would we go again NO. Would we recommend this place NO

E’Lupos is a lovely little Italian spot in Rotherham; it's really cosy with super friendly staff. The menu is huge, so there’s something for everyone. It’s not the cheapest place, but the food is absolutely worth it. We had a great night, and the free garlic bread was a nice bonus!

The food here is always lovely, there's no question about that, so I would always recommend it and when we visited both the main meal and the dessert were delicious. But I have taken a star off for poor communications. I wanted to get a gift voucher as a Christmas present back in December, but as I don't live nearby I did what the website said and sent a message on FB. Here's what the website says ..."You can either call into the restaurant during our takeaway opening hours or order over the phone or social media platforms and have one posted. A great Christmas present for that person you don’t know what to get!" I've tried and tried on FB, giving all the details and asking for payment methods, but no-one is interested. No-one replied, just an automated message saying they were closed. Very poor. I won't bother again. That part of the website needs removing as it's not accurate. Phoning in when they're open is always very noisy with lots of noise going on. Great restaurant, poor communications.

Gluten Free heaven. I have the mushroom bruschetta and the gluten free bread was so delicious. For main i had the Parmigiana which was so cheesy. And finally for dessert i had the Caprese, which is an almond flourless cake, with some gelato on top… everything was so so delicious and fantastic for gluten free. I only wish they had a gluten free pizza option as the pizzas looked amazing. I have posted my daughter’s pizza. Fully recommended for everyone.

This place has amazing food with very reasonable price. They don’t add service charge so you can save some euros there. Staff are nice and friendly and overall this place has an amazing atmosphere. This restaurant is closer to the station so it’s quite convenient to get here. Overall quite impressed with the quality food, the price and customer service.
