I can’t rate the atmosphere as we got takeaway, but this was perfectly suited to what we wanted. We asked for our pizzas to be ready for a set time (so we could grab a pint at the pub across the road) & they were almost ready when we returned. Very tasty, thin base pizzas. Recommended for a takeout if all the local pubs/restaurants are full.

Really like it that they don't take bookings. Was lucky enough to sit at the edge with a beautiful and on a great day. It was the sign that draw me in " Terrace with view". Not to mention the smell coming from the kitchen. The burata salad was top notch, great authentic wine and beer. Pizza was on par with Florence, if not better. Found a new magic spot

Excellent service; super speedy and the staff are very attentive. Food is absolutely delicious and the wine also lovely, and very reasonably priced by the glass. The terrace is a wonderful bonus and has beautiful views across the estuary. A must when visiting Fowey.

If you crave real Italian pizza, this is tge place. They have 8 tables outside overlooking the river. Fantastic place!

Beautiful place with outstanding views. Service is really great and friendly. My husband had the Tiramasu, which he loved. Added bonus is, the place is dog friendly, and they bring your dog a water bowl when you sit down.

The service was really good and really quick. We got seated instantly (a table of 7) and the waiters were there straight away if we needed anything and got us drinks and food at a really good pace. We completely cleaned our plates and finished all of our drinks - the view is also amazing from outside.

The purpose of this bad review is to save you some money. Do not waste your time here if you have any expectations of quality pizza. We received two ultra thin, burnt, ridiculous poppodom like pizza's. Having travelled Italy many times and experienced true quality pizza you shouldn't pay any attention to the 5 star reviews we fell for. Avoid! £50 for two pizzas including a 12% service charge that was truly undeserved.

Food quite nice and the view from the terrace is beautiful. We had a takeaway, 2 pizzas, 1 garlic bread and a burrata.Came to around £42.00. We got home with no Burrata. We went back the next day and had food, spent around £60 for 1 pizza, 2 burrata, a larger and a strawberry spritz. My husband explained about the missing burrata but they did nothing about it. Sorry but this is disappointing and not acceptable. Based on this, unfortunately will not be returning 😒

Fantastic pizza and antipasti's and an amazing view to boot. We were fortunate to have seating right next to the balcony and with sunshine which added to the great food and drink on offer. Fully recommend trying the burrata with the garlic bread and the pizza for the full experience here.

If you can get a table over looking the sea, this place is perfect. Friendly, funny, and effective staff. The pizzas are fantastic, and the drink options are great.

We ate here yesterday. Our garlic breads were burnt, the prices did not reflect the quality of food unfortunately. The aperol spritz did not taste correct, I wonder if they missed out the soda water. The pizza were nice but my Angelina had two strings of red onion on the entire pizza. The only good thing about the experience was the view outside and the pizza dough was good. Won't be back.

The food is okay, but what is a disgrace is the service charge of 12%, which is added to the bill by default, see note on the menu at the bottom. So you have no way of escaping it, even if something wasn't satisfactory. That costs one star. The second star is omitted because no draft beer is offered, only an Italian brand from the bottle.

Delicious pizzas… at a cost! Looks quiet from the front with a bad atmosphere but the best of it is at the back where most other customers are, where the view is! Fabulous service and delicious pizzas and wine. Quite expensive but really tasty. The burrata and pesto was excellent. Highly recommend and worth a treat.

Hidden Gem in Fowey! Real restaurantuers serving great food, great wine, with an amazing staff! The place has a great deck overlooking the river with views of the ocean. We ate here twice in a week. Inside seating is very nice and the deck is great on a nice day. Amazing salad, pizza and starters/snacks.

Really good food (amazing pizza), service wasn't the best. The bill was very expensive, circa £130 for 5 pizzas, 3 alcoholic drinks and 3 deserts.

We discovered this place a few years ago before we got married in Fowey. Unbelievable food and the burrata mozzarella is a must try!! Now we go back every year for our anniversary.

Pizza baked in electric oven. Hugely over prized. Would not recommend and will not be going again.

Visited the restaurant with my family. There's no need to book a table - just turn up. The pizzas were delicious - we ordered 3 different ones and all were nice. Can't comment on the drinks as we didn't order any. You can get free tap water as almost everywhere else. Found it reasonably priced and pleasant to eat in.

We visited whilst on holiday in Cornwall and had a great dinner. The staff were very accommodating and shifted things around so we could fit in our pram. We sat inside as the outside area was busy but we could still enjoy the view from where we were. The food was great, I'd definitely recommend visiting.

Really lovely food, but surly staff and terrible cutlery, which had no chance of cutting a lovely thin crispy pizza. It would seem you are expected to eat with your fingers!! Main issue was the number of dogs in the place. Its a restaurant for goodness sake - when did it become acceptable to take dogs in restaurants??!!

£20 service charge added to the bill for sub par overcooked flavourless pizza is a bit ridiculous. Other than that the atmosphere was alright.

Wow, what an amazing dinner! We were extremely lucky and had an terrace table overlooking the river! The pizza was very authentic Italian style. Friendly staff and fast service. Well worth the price. Definite recommend for any pizza lovers visiting Fowey.

We stopped off just for a drink and enjoyed the view of the harbour. Spent a lovely few hours in Fowey before catching the ferry back to where our cars were parked.

A stunning find with beautiful views, fantastic service and the food is just phenomenal.....make sure you get the mozzarella - stunning! Also the cocktail selection is small but great! All in all fantastic and great for an evening meal!

If you're in Fowey then visit Bufala. Best pizza I have tasted since I went to Italy some years ago. Indoor & outdoor seating, such welcoming staff. Overall a great lunchtime experience!

Pizza's are very authentic, thin base so quite crispy, distinct Italian flavours, rounded with a nice glass of Merlot. Worth the excruciating drive through Fowey!!!

One of the best Pizzas I have ever eaten

Oh my goodness I think this might be the best pizza I've ever had! Treated ourselves to a takeaway (which we were told they sometimes do when they're quiet so I guess we were lucky!) and I'm so glad we did, it's really exceptional food and I can't wait to have it again one day.

Oh What incredible pizzas and also did vegan and gluten free. We ate pizza looking out across the water. Wonderful place to eat. Highly recommend.

Really welcoming and friendly. We arrived just as they opened and got perfect seats outside. The pizza was amazing, they even do a fresh gluten-free option for my wife. The coffee was superb. Really can't fault them on anything.

Upon recommendation we visited this local pizza place in Fowey. All I can say is this place is an absolute gem. Didn’t have to wait long for an outside table over looking the harbour. Both of us had to try a cocktail, which my aperol spritz was the best I’ve ever had! My partner ended up having 3 negroni’s so I think that says how nice they were. Food was delicious. We shared some anti pasti before our pizzas came out. If you like thin pizza this is the place for you. If you still have room left, I must recommend the tiramisu, which was scrumptious. We will certainly come back in our next visit to Cornwall.

You can't book a table and you can't preorder take away. Fine. Arrive to get a couple of pizzas to be told "we aren't doing take away tonight, we're really busy and shirt staffed". Seriously, how much time would it take to put toppings on 2 pizzas and put them in the oven and then a box. Noticed they weren't turning away restaurant customers who wer egyzzling expensive cocktails whilst waiting for their food. If you're charging £15 per pizza, you need the service to go with it. They lost £40 of sales from me (would have bought puddings too) and £150 from the rest of our party later in the week.

Lovely pizza place with an excellent drinks list. I went in for takeaway and had a spritz whilst I waited (only 15 mins). The wait for tables was longer on a busy August Friday night so be prepared. Staff were so polite and lovely and most importantly the pizzas they sell are delicious. Light chewy crust and no skimping on the toppings. 10/10 would pizza again.

Visited this place on a thursday night in peak season. Tables available, 30 mins before the advertised last orders time. Had to wait for the FOH manager to finish his lengthy chat about paddleboarding before bothering to glance in our direction and smile. Sadly when he did bother to speak to us, he insisted that two people couldn't be squeezed in because they were 'slammed'. Opting for plan b, we asked if we could do a takeaway, as he had mentioned serving 10 this night alone, only to be told we couldn't with no explanation. It baffles me how restaurants trying to get back on their feet aren't doing everything they can to take the business that walks through the door. Shutting at 8:30pm in peak holiday season in a key tourist town is beyond me...

Great food, friendly service and excellent wine. Can't ask for much more. They were really accomodating as we had our dogs with us. Will definitely come back.

Allergy's dont bother even asking if they can cater!!!! They clearly says on the bottom of the menu they cannot cater for any serious allergy, well what allergy isn't serious!!! This is discrimination of the 2 million people in the UK who suffer from food allergy's. 2 meals they lost out on.

I cannot fault this place. The pizzas and all sundries are excellent. So is the value for money and the quality of the service. I was especially taken with Amber the waitress. If I had a restaurant I'd poach her. I definitely would. Can't wait for more Bufala pizzas. Brilliant.

We had a table outside which was lovely. Ordered two garlic breads to share between four of us and three vegetarian pizzas and some pesto to dip the crust into as suggested. We also had the tiramisu and panna cotta. All of the food was super fresh and tasty. The staff were friendly and gave us some advice regarding the dishes. Really enjoyed our meal here

Early lunch so as tempting as the whole burrata sounded, we ordered a simple pizza. Ultra thin, beautifully spiced and with a big hit of garlic it was a real treat. Service wasn't the best but the food was fantastic and the views top it off.

I will start off by saying the pizza was good, however service provided not so.... its my birthday weekend and first time in Cornwall , after many attempts of calling to try and book a table , with no luck we decided to walk down and get a table, we were met with welcome when we arrived. However after we settled down we noticed a table was going to be empty at the back terrace with a lovely sea view(that we noticed earlier on whilst on the self hire boat) after asking a member of staff I was told she would need to ask a manager (if its a policy that once seated they do not move tables ) why didn't the lady who I asked not know this POLICY? now fast forward..my pizza arrived , taste lovely and then I find a hair in my pizza...my other half has finished her pizza and mine has just arrived ..thank you for such a lovely birthday meal to remember at fowey..

Had a really pleasant evening here on the terrace last week. The staff are very friendly and attentive, along with the food being fabulous. While the pizzas were all delicious, the mushroom and truffle starter and the tiramisu for dessert were my highlights!
