Ambiente acolhedor. Atendimento excelente. Fomos atendidos pelo Michele, com muito bom humor e simpatia. Poucos vinhos na carta mas não compromete a experiência. Estávamos num grupo de seis pessoas e os pratos de destaque foram a lasanha, o carbonara, e o la matriciana, que estavam excelentes. As sobremesas também muito boas: tiramissu, torta brulée, e uma torta de queijo com caramelo espetacular. Limoncello caseiro perfeito. Excelente refeição, num lugar muito especial e com preço muito justo.

we had been at an event in Tavistock Square and spotted this across the road as we walked along. WE liked that it was independent and the menu looked good. We were not disappointed. The food was freshly cooked but we did not need to wait long, service was friendly and prices reasonable. One of us had deep fried calamari and the other a delicious chicken casserole. There as a tempting choice of desserts from the trolley and we chose apple pie.

Nice little restaurant opposite royal national hotel ,had lasagne very tasty ,the cheese very stringy good portion but was one of the best I have had in a long time well worth the visit London prices but not over the top

We dropped by on impulse for a late lunch, early dinner. Our order was simple: minestrone della casa, a mixed side salad, pollo alla Milanese, the house white (Trebbiano Campiello 2023). We expected a meal, nothing special. What we got was much, much more: solicitous service, food with depth and character, true excellence in every way. When we thanked the staff, they deflected the praise to the real Nonna Selena from northern Italy. We only regret that we could not return for a more adventurous meal. For added fun, ask to see the head waiter's photography. He's truly gifted.

We chose Nonna Selena for a quick meal before heading for Euston station. Whilst the food was fine there is something odd with the bill. I noticed my hand written bill didn't add up and was told a sitting in charge had been added ( without being itemised) and that this was made clear in the menu. I hadn't noticed it. We were then asked if we wanted to add a service tip. We didn't, but if we had, that would have added 20% to the menu prices. Odd.

We tried this place 3 nights in a row, first two nights could only make it in for dessert and drinks but 3rd times a charm! We were able to have a full meal and man was it worth the wait! They actually got to know us well here, they became our friends, great service, wonderful ambience and the food was fantastic. Thank you Nonna Selena for making our dinner so memorable!

My friend and I visited the place on our last day in London because it was close to our hotel. We were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and the quality of food which was much better than any pizza place we had been to so far in London. I really wanted to rate it and recommend it so I saw the comments on the net. Unfortunately, there was some negative feedback about overcharging the tip so we decided to calculate the amount beforehand. After we finished our dinner, we asked for the bill and we found out that the 10% tip was included in the total amount but the waiter asked for a tip saying that it wasn't. I insisted that that we should be given an analytical receipt but he protested claiming that this 10% was some other kind of gratuity and it was written on the catalogue. I believe that customers have the legal right to ask for the bill and I am sorry because this behaviour ruined the pleasant atmosphere and the good quality of food. We wouldn't mind giving this 20% tip and we did but felt deeply disappointed. I hope the management will take our comments into consideration as there have been numerous complaints.

Mama Mia! We happened upon Nona Selena on our first day in London. Hubs had the ham and salami pizza and I had the tortelloni de Napoli. Delicious! Nice atmosphere and great friendly staff. We were offered a limoncello as we were quite full and which we gladly accepted. Top notch and a definite do over!

Restauranten, vi besøgte under vores ophold i London for at deltage i London Marathon, viste sig at være et besøg værd, ikke kun én, men to gange inden for tre dage. Selvom vi stod over for en kø hver gang, var ventetiden overraskende kort før vi fik et bord. Restauranten tilbyder en simpel, men velsmagende italiensk madoplevelse, der kombinerer god kvalitet med en afslappet præsentation. Der er ingen overdådig dekoration af retterne, hvilket understreger en jordnær tilgang til madlavning, hvor smagen taler for sig selv. Lokalerne oser af hygge og autenticitet, hvilket forstærker den italienske atmosfære og gør det nemt at slappe af og nyde måltidet. Denne kombination af hurtig service, god mad og en varm atmosfære gør restauranten til et fremragende valg for både marathon-deltagere og andre besøgende i London. Her kan man finde et pusterum med god mad i hyggelige omgivelser, hvilket bestemt er en oplevelse værd.

We had dinner here twice during our recent visit to London. Both visits were amazing. Nonna Selena is a vibrant & friendly restaurant. The staff are friendly and efficient. The food is incredible! We highly recommend the Tortellini con crema ( spinach ricotta filling with a divine white sauce) ,Penne al Salmone Affumicato (pasta with smoked salmon) and the tricolore salad. Don't forget to order the bread- the freshest and most delicious btread we've ever had! The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor dining. We are looking forward to visiting Nonna Selena again when we return tio London in June.

La ensalada con salmón era abundante y correcta, pero los espagueti no estaban al dente, y los calamari fritti tenían demasiado condimento -para mi gusto -en el rebozado. El precio es claramente exagerado para la calidad pasable que ofrecen. Un detalle lamentable en el servicio: tras pagar la cuenta no querían entregarme el detalle de lo facturado (normalmente lo publico); al reclamar, me entregaron una especie de duplicado en el que no consta el precio efectivamente aplicado a cada plato, sólo la expresión "2xmeal".

We had a late lunch here largely due to been unable to checkout on time of the pub we had stayed in the night before (no one around). Serendipity. In a packed weekend we returned another two times largely due to the wonderful welcome we received. Super pizza, fab bottle of red and free samples of exotic booze, and as for that pepper grinder!

It was so great we found ourselves going more than once! Harry was great! We recommend you ask for him by name. There was a group of students dancing and singing that day. It was very entertaining.

Der Service ist absolut Top. Obwohl alles voll war, wurde für uns - 2 Personen - kurzerhand einfach ein neuer Tisch aufgebaut. Das Essen kam trotz allem sehr schnell und war sehr lecker. Zum Schluss gab's noch ein Dank des Hauses -Limoncello-.

We visited Nonna Selena on Wednesday whilst staying across the road at The Royal National Hotel and we were all very impressed with the service and food. There was 2 adults and an 8yr old in our party and the menu catered to all of our tastes. The service was very good with friendly staff to greet us and take our orders. We’ll definitely visit again in the future.

Had read the reviews that say this place will rip off on service charge/tips but ignored . The food is good but at the end I directly asked did the bill include service charge, the waiter told us no. When handed the card machine there were options for a tip, as we were told no service charge was on the bill we left a tip . After leaving we worked out this was a tip on top of the service charge . Our items came to £86.60 and the bill was £95.26 which includes the 10% service charge. The real shame is we’d happily have paid that but being lied to about it is wrong. The bill also does not mention service charge or the amount for it so the restaurant must be aware, real shame.

Cheerful, lively Italian with authentic food and outdoor terrace. Felt like we were actually in Italy rather than the middle of London. Friendly, attentive service from Michele and colleagues. Good value.

I found this little gem via reviews on Trip Advisor. My nephew was in Euston for a business meeting and I was also working in the vicinity so we arranged to meet for lunch. We ordered a bowl of calamari fritti to start and these took a long time to cook so we were provided with a complimentary bowl of olives. The calamari was excellent when it arrived, proper thick strips fried to perfection. We both ordered pizzas, my nephew a Napoli and I, being a heathen, a Hawaiian. The pizzas arrived with no waiting after we had finished our calamari. The pizzas were really good with thin, crispy bases and plentiful toppings. We were fully satisfied. Service was excellent and it was good value for money, at less than £70 including drinks and service, particularly for Central London.

I was heading to Euston Statiion afetr a long day and needed something to eat before getting my train. I passed this restaurant which looked inviting. I'm glad I waent in as the pizza was lovely and the staff were all very nice. Would happily recommend.

This was our second visit to Nonna Selena. On both occasions we have had the warmest, friendliest welcome. Nothing is too much trouble. The atmosphere is lively and upbeat. The food, well the food is delicious! I can highly recommend the carbonara which in my opinion, is the best carbonara ever! A rich creamy cheesey sauce covering every strand of spaghetti 😋😋 My husband had pizza and announced that it was as delicious and flavourful as the first visit. We've not tried the deserts as we've both been too full. We don't visit London often but we made sure we booked our hotel to be just around the corner specifically to visit Nonnas again. Regrettably I cannot remember the names of both staff who attended to us, I think the young lady said she was known as 'E'? Both she and her colleague were very attentive, without being overbearing. We would definitely recommend a visit to Nonna Selenas (apologies for the photos - I was so keen to tuck into the food I forgot to snap a shot before I started eating!)
