Enzo's in Windsor and Maidenhead

We had a lovely meal here last night ad hoc after visiting Windsor Castle. The staff are Italian and guaranteed authentic food provided. We just had the one main course as eaten earlier in the castle. We had a gnocchi dish and pizza. Both delicious, very good flavour and perfectly cooked. It was very busy and no tables left by the time we went, staff were very attentive and professional. Ten percent service charge added to the bill afterwards to bear in mind.

The steak was the best steak we have eaten in the UK! First class food and service all the way! The staff were absolutely brilliant.

Excellent restaurant. Wanted an Italian for lunch and booked in advance. Was a great Italian meal. Loved it. Had calamari in chilli sauce and we kept the chili sauce for the pizza. The carbonara was also spot on. Will definitely visit again.

We had a lovely family meal. Pastas full of flavour and wood fired baked pizzas. Great food, great service. We would defenitley come back and recomended to anyone.

Living in Windsor it’s easy for me to compare all restaurants and Enzos is a cut above, even though there are a couple of other lovely places. Personally I am not a fan of chains and that’s why I love Enzos, whether you are eating at their place, see them on the street or bump into them at another location having a drink, they greet you as one of the family, you cannot ask for better service. All 3 brothers are awesome and that means the staff who work with them are happy to be there which all in all make for a lovely experience. Food is fantastic also btw.

We came here for dinner after visiting Legoland with my son, and we were blown away by the happy reception we received, and the quality of the food, especially the prawn starter. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Really lovely vibe, good food and staff made this visit a nice surprise. Last minute day trip to Windsor when we stumbled across this just off the main shopping centre. Pizzas were extremely good and the chicken salad was very tasty.

Our host Balazs made our night! He was absolutely wonderful. He was knowledgable and gave great recommendations. We enjoyed our food thoroughly and it came super fast. Great experience!

All of the food was well cooked, really tasty and portioned so that you had space for pudding!The staff were brilliant with our 5 year old (boxed up her remaining pizza to take home), really diligent and even stuck a candle in my Husband's pudding for his 40th.If we lived closer, we'd definitely be regulars!

We had booked on recomandation and we had a lovey dinner. Gamberoni Linguine and Pizza Di Carne yummmy. Fresh food and service was friendley all fantastic really. If you are in the area is a must visit. Thank you guys, see you soon ☺️

we stopped here after a long day at legoland and weren't disappointed! we didn't book and were told there could be a 45 min wait for food - that was fine as we just wanted a drink and to sit down!! we ordered 2 spaghetti bolognese, pizza and garlic bread with cheese and were eating with about 20 minutes! delicious wholesome food well cooked and tasty! Very friendly staff as well. thank you!

Love Enzo's - we go there fairly regularly as it's a great restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere and we like to support local businesses. Yes, I would give it five stars because it is indeed excellent for all aforementioned reasons. Had the goats cheese salad.

Great food and good atmosphere. The pasta dish was a little small for the price so I asked for a bit more and received a second serving! Needless to say it all got eaten. Waffle dessert was delicious.

Had a trip to Thorpe Park with mu sons and fancied an Italian afterwards... wow what a find! The staff were very freeing day ands the food was quite simply some of the best Ive had in a long time. I had the special: Gamberoni Linguine. Quite simply one of the best past dishes Ive ever had. My sons were blown away by it and I will be taking my wife there when we visit near the end of the year.

Omg from the starter to the desert, the taste and the service we had was amazing. 10/10 we are even back for lunch tomorrow

We had an 18:00 reservation. The tables were not socially distanced. We were by the bar 🤔 Salad was pretty Carbonara was flavourful but hard lumps of bacon or something similar Veggie pizza was pretty Service was friendly enough...

We were advised to dine here by a local couple. So glad we did.The staff are very friendly and it was lovely to sit near to the pizza oven watching the chef prepare food.The food was really tasty and good sized portions.Could do with another choice of rose wine.... that’s my only criticism A definite place to dine

Outstanding experience in terms of service and food, Italian food at its best. All courses were excellent, starters, mains and pudding, very enjoyable evening. It is a small walk away from the Castle area but well worth it , when in Windsor again, we will go back. Good sign when you see so many regulars dining very friendly astrosphere.

Booked Enzo’s with high expectations. I’m all for supporting the independent, family run businesses in order to prevent the bland food of the chains from taking over completely. The menu certainly has the look of something different if not entirely unique - it’s important to provide the “Italian Standards” if you’re going to attract the young families. The wood burning oven is there for all to see for those that order a pizza: we didn’t, but I always look at the food being delivered elsewhere in the restaurant and they did look very good.Our server was an enthusiastic and friendly young man, but in need of a little more training: wine should never be poured to the brim of the glass. The food we ordered was indeed of a very good standard; we started with the large Antipasta Fantastico, which was nicely presented and enough for the three of us. My Pichio Pachio was different enough and tasty enough, but I would prefer the Italian sausage in it to be chunkier - trickier to prepare and serve, but easier on the eye, IMO. The Branzino (sea bass) looked good, but potatoes had to ordered as an extra at £4.95, making this a £20 dish, which is a little pricey. The other dish we ordered was the Linguini alla Enzo, which was clearly very good as none of it was offered for tasting (joking!)

We had a lovely evening at Enzo’s. All courses were excellent - garlic bread to start, gnocchi and sea bass for mains and tiramisu for dessert. The service was terrific and the staff were great. A great meal.

Lovely evening sat at a table on the pavement outside Enzo's, made extra special by the warm summer evening that we had on 17th July. The food and wine was lovely. Very good value

The manager was very rude. Refused us a table because we only wanted to have drinks. However there were other people just having drinks outside and plenty free tables. We then spoke to someone else and they were happy to offer us a table outside.. the manager then said no it wasn’t allowed but finally let us sit down. We felt we were treated differently to everyone else and we don’t know why? Maybe because of the way we look? Who knows. We felt really uncomfortable after this that we quickly finished our drinks and left. Disappointing on our visit to Windsor.

After reading the reviews we were looking forward to some amazing Italian food.The food wasn't bad at all but I it just wasn't anything special. The "pikante" pizza wasn't "pikante" at all and the Spaghetti Carbonara wasn't bad but there was way too much creamy sauce (which I think is not how Carbonara is supposed to look?).The food wasn't bad at all, I think I just expected too much based on the reviews.

Fab food, lovely atmosphere and I hope Enzo knows his staff are a credit to him. We had a carne pizza and seafood linguine, both excellent followed by wonderful timarassu. 10/10

First visit - was really impressed. The food selection was great - we had booked a table for 2.30pm but found ourselves ready for lunch a bit earlier - the restaurant was more than happy to accommodate us. Friendly and efficient service. Would definitely recommend and want to go again soon.

First time here. Was on my own and wanted a fast-ish dinner, as in to eat out and not stay for more than an hour as had just been doing errands and wanted quick meal.Choose spaghetti bolognaise. Was delicious. Would say prices feel little high but this is Windsor town centre. Meaty and nice - tastes homemade and yummy. Nice touches were friends staff and was offered parmesan seconds on top of my spaghetti! Had chocolate fondant for dessert. It was lovely, however think the vanilla ice cream that accompanied it tasted little gloopy - not as clean tasting as other good vanilla ice creams I've had.And oh! The house white was nice! Enjoyed a glass of that too!Would return.

Great authentic delicious Italian food with fabulous service in a perfectly balanced relaxed but special atmosphere.

What a lovely evening! Staff are fabulous! So friendly and can’t do enough for you. We were even given an anniversary pannacotta and limoncello on the house! The food is amazing. Atmosphere wonderful. It was just like being in Venice (where we were supposed to have been!). We will definitely be back as it’s the best Italian restaurant we’ve been to in many years. Thank you to everyone for a wonderful time.

When looking at TripAdvisor reviews to find somewhere to eat that wasn't aimed at the bog standard tourist I saw great reviews for this restaurant. It did not disappoint. Top quality food & excellent friendly service from the staff. There were lots of other diners who were obviously regulars from the interaction they had with staff & it was easy to see why they return. We had starters of Calimari alla Diavola (calamari in white wine sauce) & Funghi (pan fried mushrooms in creamy garlic & parmigiano sauce) which were both perfectly seasoned with sauces that were both light but full of flavour. Mains were Linguine alla Enzo (linguine with mixed seafood) & Pichio Pachio (penne pasta with Italian sausage & tomato sauce) which were plentiful in size & again packed with flavours & obviously made with good quality ingredients. We will be back on our next visit to Windsor

My sister and I found Enzo’s on here as a top reviewed Italian restaurant and we had the spaghetti al Ragú and Penne with Prawns. It was delicious. The drinks were refreshing and the service was exceptional. Location is lovely on the streets of Windsor. Overall a wonderful experience. I will definitely be coming back

We were recommended this restaurant by my friend, who had been there the week before, Staff were friendly and welcoming. Tables were fairly well spaced out and, for a Monday night, the restaurant was full.Food and wine did not disappoint either. So glad we went here, rather than one of the other chains in Windsor. Support the local businesses - it is a must right now!Thanks for a lovely meal, i will definitely be recommending this place to anyone i know who is visiting Windsor, and when we visit again, we shall come to Enzo's!

Enzos was our favourite restaurant during a 4 night stay in Windsor. Equipped with a genuine and busy 'forno', the centre for culinary activity where you can see food being cooked. Lively, accommodating, busy, friendly, attentive service, and lovely food. We even had an opportunity to try out our Italian language!!

We hadn’t booked and all the outside tables had been reserved at lunchtime today. But the staff brought another table out for us. Very friendly and helpful. We shared a great pizza plus a mixed salad and mushrooms with garlic and chilli. Plus drinks. Lunch, incl tip was less than £35 for two.

After eating at another restaurant the night before. Which was terrible large chain one. stumbled across this restaurant. Wasn't to be disappointed excellent service and food was lovely. Would highly recommend

Very warm welcome to this busy little restaurant. Garlic bread sadly very lacking in garlic. Shame. Service was very good and friendly. Pasta and risotto both totally fine. Cheesecake and tiramisu ok. Overall we enjoyed our dinner.

Lovely food and lovely restaurant! Staff so friendly and welcoming. Made myself my little girl and friends feel welcomed as soon as we came into the restaurant and made such a effort for us all! What beautiful service we received here, went for a birthday lunch 3 adults and a toddler. Enzos treated us all as family had real homely vibes here, the food was beautiful! Would recommend to anyone!

The place and the staff are welcoming. There is a real pizza oven in the middle of the restaurant, good pasta, good pizza and the chocolate fondant is a must have.

As it was a very warm day, we only wanted a light lunch. We had fantastic prawns and bruschetta. The service was lovely, polite and professional and we would definitely go again if we return to Windsor.

We had a great lunch at Enzos. Enzos pizza was particularly good. Would definitely recommend. Only small suggestion that there should be more ice in drinks but other than that, great. Will return.

Cheerful attentive staff and the best Italian food I’ve ever tasted. The sea bass on the specials menu today was fantastic. If you’re in Windsor you have to try this restaurant.

We trawled several restaurants and chose Enzos due to the reviews. We were not disappointed the food and service was exceptional served by a very nice and pleasant gentleman and Georgia too. Nice to eat in a very authentic Italian and watch the chefs at work too. All very fresh and tasty without being overpriced. Look forward to our next visit.Mouthwatering Brushetta abs Caprese salad followed by a gorgeous Aribiata and Ravioli.Washed down with some lovely competitively priced wines too.

Stopped here one evening as we were walking by and so glad we did. The pizza was authentic Italian and delicious and the staff were very friendly. It took a bit of extra time for the food to be served to us but because the staff were so friendly and the atmosphere was nice we didn’t mind!

We had lunch and dinner at the restaurant. The calamari were tender the cozze perfect and tasty. Branzino, Pizza out of the wood oven and seafood linguini as a main were also perfect made. Lovely wine list and ood dessert. Price Value also really ok!

Was pleasant and average. We had pizza but wasn’t cooked through ,shame the wood pizza oven wasn’t on so that meant pizza was cooked in a electric oven instead and that was a big disappointment . Would I return? Only if pizza is cooked where it states in the menu .

My sister, mum and I came to Enzos after lockdown and had such a fantastic experience. From the moment we were seated, we received outstanding service. In particular Polen was attentive, polite and efficient. Nothing was too much. My mum wanted to ask for a canzone filling (not on the menu), no problem! We went for the Malbec with the food which was delicious. We had mussels to start and you could smell the aroma of the food even before they were placed at our table. My sister and I opted for pizza and salad for main and, just like mum's calzone, they were really tasty. My only one (very very small) criticism was that the chilli on the pizza I ordered was in fact just chili flakes. I did ask for fresh chilli's and our waiter brought some but they were not spicy at all - more like peppers. However, the pizza was tasty nonetheless. The restaurant pre-empted customer's feeling cold outside due to the restrictions and brought us cosy blankets to put over our legs.This was the first time we've been and we can't wait to go back!Great service, food and ambience.

I really enjoyed the Enzo pizza however there wasn’t much mozzarella on the Margherita. Also, I was very pleased to find that the employees were kind and respectful of the C0V1D rules. Will be back;)

Pretty average food, service was good. Would come back maybe if I was in the area but wouldn’t necessarily go out of my way based on the lunch we had. Having heard good things about the pizza and the fact that they have a proper pizza oven, maybe would come back to try those.

I have been to Enzo’s on a few occasions now. Once with a friend but most recently with my boyfriend. Each time I have been I have loved it!! We went last night and got chatting to Enzo’s Dad... what a great time we had !! We were so well looked after by all the lovely staff, they are so attentive and all clearly love their jobs. We will be going back again and again and again! The food is the best Italian in the whole of Windsor without a doubt, The entire experience is 10/10. Don’t miss out on the espresso martini and limoncello !!Charlotte

I wanted to like Enzo's as it's a independent restaurant and family-owned. We came for lunch on a Sunday. The food itself was quite good although some of the mussels in my seafood dish were not the best quality. Unfortunately we could not enjoy the experience fully as the restaurant was very cold. We sat in scarves throughout the meal and rushed our desserts so we could get home for a warm. It's a pity but next time we would choose to come in summer.

Dropped in for a late lunch. Delicious food, everything tasted fresh and flavourful. Waiters were friendly and the restaurant setting is pleasant and modern. I liked that you can see into the kitchen. Would dine here again and recommend. Thank you to Enzo’s !

On the last evening before Lockdown #2 5 of us had the most fantastic meal. The food and service was excellent. The restaurant was buzzing too.

Went with my 11 year old son, he had pizza with Italian sausage and loved it. I had mussels to start and probably the best lamb shank I've tasted in a long time, washed down with 2 great glasses of red wine (recommended by the waiter). Superb service and atmosphere, nothing to fault.

I just went there for a birthday dinner and honestly did not expect to be met with such a welcoming staff. It was lovely, the food was tasty and it was overall a very great experience. Will definitely go again and I strongly recommend it.

Went to Enzos this evening to celebrate my Mums birthday and it was as always a wonderful meal and a fantastic afternoon/evening.First time eating out since Covid and it’s so safe, so organised, we felt really secure, they go above and to make you feel as welcome as always but also super safeHad exceptional homemade pizzas, stunning fresh fish main, yummy desserts and sides and the special dessert designed by Vinny the chef was that extra personal touch to make my Mum feel really special, they are so kind, so family friendly my 2 year old had a blast as they are incredibly patient with him. Ellis is absolutely amazing with my little boy as it’s a family run restaurant they all embrace families and make everyone feel so welcome. Cannot rate Enzos highly enough, Emir and his team are 1st class! It serves superb food and has superb customer service, they really care about the whole experience and they have gone above and beyond to make it a safe and enjoyable experience during these challenging times! Can’t wait to return!! Well done all ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was as good an Italian restaurant that I have eaten in. Fantastic food from start to finish and super fast service from attentive staff. I’m not going into detail regards what we had for each course, but I’m pretty confident whatever you order, you will not be disappointed. First class food and top class service

As a local I have visited Enzo’s many times and have loved every experience. Wonderful fresh authentic food, attentive and efficient servers, and great atmosphere. The owners’ hard work and commitment is apparent in its success. My last visit was during the government’s Eat Out to Help Out scheme with a friend and they handled the demand and volume so well! They had safely placed as many tables as possible on the paving outside and it almost felt like we were on an Italian piazza. Well done every time.

We booked for a party of five, and rearranged en-route as we were running ahead of schedule. None of use had been to Enzo's before, but we all like Italian food, and we were swayed by the Tripadvisor rating.Unfortunately, two of the party got lost, so our start time was delayed by 30 minutes. The staff (it's a family run business) weren't at all bothered, and in true Italian style, we were left to take our time over lunch. All of the food was top-notch (pizza, lamb shank, mussels) as was the house red. There is an a la carte menu, and a big specials board. Our party chose from both, and we didn't leave a scrap on any of the plates.We were never ignored, much to the contrary, as we enjoyed good conversation and banter with the three brothers who were in the restaurant that day, one of whom is the head chef...The restaurant is situated on a pedestrian thoroughfare, so it's free of noise and traffic pollution. I won't divulge the cost, but I didn't think it expensive, and it was most certainly worth every penny.Will I return ?I don't know when, but, yes !

We had a pre-dinner meal here and it was simply excellent. It’s a warm and welcoming restaurant, with friendly efficient staff. The wine was a bit pricey but very nice indeed. I had the prawn linguine special and it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. And our desserts were amazing. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended.

We visited Enzos as a group of 4.The staff were friendly but the food did not live up to expectation.The lasagne was seriously lacking filling and presented as stodgy pasta.The calzone had practically no ham in the filling.To add insult to injury we were charged nearly £6 for a bowl of poor quality salad and £13 service charge Will not be visiting Enzo's again and would certainly not recommend

Super food enjoyed by our family of three. A busy evening at the restaurant but service was great and food was hot, fresh and delicious. We will definitely return when we visit Windsor again.

This was our first time to Enzo's which we decided to try based on their Tripadvisor reviews. It was a lovely sunny September afternoon so we sat outside (great for people spotting BTW!) We had a fantastic lunch, my husband had the Pizza di Carne which was delicious. I had the Saltimbocca di Pollo with additional Parmesan on the spaghetti and it was SO tasty! We're both big eaters but although the starters sounded lovely, we were pleased we didn't have any as they would have taken the edge off our mains. The service was superb - friendly and professional. We can't wait to return!
